Preface- I'd love some proof reading with this. I don't know what I may have forgotten but I seriously want to build ships for actual users, I'd love it if people contacted me for contracts and payment. I'd love to build ships for the Republic and what not. Hutts need not apply and neither should criminals.
Costa Industries
History
Costa industries was born from the ambitions of a young Teodoro Costa on Coruscant in 13,000 BBY. Growth was fast under the wartime state as the former military man had solid connections within the senate that brought his way numerous contracts with lucrative checks attached. Business was looking up for them.History
This golden start was halted when his reputation in the Senate was smudged by competition adverse to the growth of the young Corellian. The company lost it's lifeblood and under pressure from numerous angles he was forced to shut down operation.
For twenty years Mr.Costa rented the estate to other companies and saved the profits. After becoming a leading member of Jade Galactic the still-owner of Costa Industries decided it was nearing time for the reemergence of his own business. With the fall of Jade the doors opened wide. Jade's shipyards on Correlia were destroyed and the neighborhood was up for grabs. Teo saw the opportunity and took it, a quick legal battle won Teo the destroyed shipyards and assets for almost nothing. Something he soon discovered was the not only were Jade's yards damaged, but so were nearby businesses. He quickly secured loans(approx. 100 Million in credits) that allowed him to pick up the discounted property and assimilate their businesses with his.
Costa industries now back in business Teo retained most of the employees- dockworkers- and went back to business. The men who had previously been his competitors were now his managers. In no time he planned on repaying his new debts and making his profits.
Business continues as usual.

Costa Industries primarily builds custom or specialised ships of high quality at a more than reasonable rate. A client simply needs to contact Mr.Costa to set up a meeting to work out a contract so that Costa Industries may provide the highest of quality of service.

The Docks are not closed so the capabilities of the docks stretch from multiple small ships in one dock to massive ships that take up multiple docks. Two docks are suitable for servicing Battleship size craft.

Description:
The F1 is a cobat designed interceptor capable of extremely high speeds. Do not believe though that it is capable of
unusual manueverability at such speeds. The F1's are still limited to manuevering at less than 3000 M/s, this is however quite maneuverable compared to current technology.
Standard armament consist of three Long Tipper Blasters located on each wing and underneath the cockpit. The guns fire in a burst fire style, three shots from each barrel in an alternating motion between the barrels. This allows for sustained fire without burning out the on-board systems.
Engines on the F1's incorporate a small hyperdrive capable of Microjumps. However such jumps require immense levels of power that require most other combat systems to not be active.
* - these items are equiped in the secondary slot, a section below the cockpit capable of being quickly fitted with combat specific armament. So far there are very few armaments designed for the F1's, giving the F1 only three classifications:
Alpha- Combat fitting
Bravo- Tackle fitting
Charlie- Cargo Scanner
Other fittings are begin designed, for example a shield extender to allow for greater shield capacity in order to increase longevity of fighters. As long as the ship can supply the power it is possible.
Astromech droid. Due to the addition of a hyperdrive an astromech droid is required for most flight. Astromech droids are loaded behind the cockpit and directly connect with the hyperdrive. These droids are capable of carrying out many operations that would require a copilot, however a copilot would significantly increase ship size.

Description: If any ship could be described as classy, this would be it. Running from front to back a thick, unbroken, multi-layered metal hull protects this ship from fire at all angles. Costa, being the genius he is, designed an energized armor system to create armor capable of withstanding beatings greater than any shield system. Being able to charge a physical object in the sane manner as a shield allows for a high Ion resistance at a lesser energy cost wile maintaining a highly effective defense.
Two rotating platforms on either side of the ship mount five Ion Artillery units each. These cannons are considered oversized and make the ship incapable of supporting any other weapon systems to maintain stability.
Finally Costa saw the need for a ship that was swift and capable of making quick calculated jumps. By halting energy use from Ion cannons, enough energy can be rerouted to engines to make a nearly instant jump out of combat. The advantages of being able to make a quick jump into hyperspace are endless. The purpose of the quick jump system is to get a ship out of an ambush and into safety, not jumping system.
Costa's revolutionary ship design has tested well in closed testing and very well in field testing, even though most of the testing has been done against pirate groups. It still needs to see 'real' combat against a formal enemy.
