How isn't sabotage the way of a jedi? It avoids mass battles and large death tolls. Btw, when I say sabotage, i don't mean assassination. Things like destroying facilites and the like.

Split the jedi into groups, one group for each objective.

Jedi can be used in such cases in which to avoid larger casulties. Undercover work, etc. Subterfuge is a better word for it in this case.

I think that the Jedi should work for now to restore the Republic to its former glory by doing missions to keep the peace and help those in need.

As a Jedi, I'm saying that we should "Be the Republics defense and only fight if the Sith move onto Republic teritory." However, it would also be a good idea to do "Sabotage, Spies and Informants" but only a small amount and when the opportunity arises. (But not RPed cheaply)

Now for the seriousness. Let's me be honesty. Most of those choices suck. Sending people on missions isn't going to do anything, unless those missions are planet specific in order to gain land, in which case, according the number of jedi you have, would be suicide because a group would be around 3 jedi, fighting however many number of sith soldiers are stationed on that planet.

Sending Jedi to vital worlds is also suicide as planets that are vital to the you, are vital to the enemy, which means they is the well guarded, and again it results in the you bieng the dead. Not the good.

Spies Sabotage and informants is an ok plan, but this plan is too slow advancing if you want immidiate action. Spies take time to get in position, sabotage takes time to arrange, and informants take time to to gather information.

Sit down and talk it out. Ill take with my foot to your face.

And the last choice would work the best.....if this was the Mercenary faction. This is the jedi. We are not soldiers. We are not body guards. You dont stay and be a dog for the republic (which doesnt really exist on this forum at large).


SOOOOO what you would want to do is sit and wait. Arrange some spies, arrange some informants, some sabotage. What you are going to want is misdirection. mess around in a semi valuable area to expose an opening on a more important area. Establish a foothold, and keep picking the wound till its too much to handle. If the Republic exists, than their soldiers are cannon fodder for the misdirection and the main attack. You want to choke Nefarius on Coruscant, which means cutting off any planet that brings him soldiers, ships, weapons ect. Also tossing a few grenades around on Korribaan might be the misdirection you are looking for. A blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

Also, we really are hinging far too much on the republic, which in my opinion is the least active faction on this site.

also, let's be honest.

What goes farther? a Blaster or a lightsaber?
I think the Jedi should be assigned to republic garrisons, we should work together - have some soldiers on the defence with Jedi "Generals"

then have some on the offence, because if you think about it.

More like 10,000-1 ratio. If not more. There's a few thousand Jedi, I can bet there's over a hundred thousand Republic officers or troops on the dozens of planets being protected.
