I go for a walk, and sometimes read or watch a movie.

I shove an SkullyCandy bud in each ear and rock out to what ever I just downloaded from FrostWire while playing air guitar in the middle of my living room.

I can't get over it, I just wait a day or two until my creativity comes back.

I have a friend working on an online game that is designed to help combat writer's block. They've tested it on a few people and thus far results have been pretty positive. It's going to work similar to Magic the Gathering, I think.

Depends on what the writing is. If it's a story I'm working on, I'll work on a different one until I get the inspiration back for the first. Hence I have about 6 going at once...

I also like taking long showers. Meh on my water bill but good ideas come to me there.

Play music you wouldn't ordinarily listen to.

Alternatively give it a deadline. Like, "I'm not going out tonight until I do xx pages/paragraphs/whatever." Or if it's an assignment, wait a little longer if you can afford it and just keep outlining/doing research. Nothing motivates like the sheer panic a deadline can bring! :CHappy:

I have a smoke, but really even just taking yourself away, wandering around the house and thinking usually works just as well.

I never get writer's block because I know what I want to do and or say with everything. The only thing that could come close to it is figuring out how to say it so other people can understand it (with english being my second language) and sheer boredom.

I don't get writers block to terribly frequently, I have a bigger problem with trying to put whats in my head on to paper more then that xD You have all pretty interesting and good ways to overcome it though.

Music, people watching, alcohol and coffee are my writer's block breakers. Mostly paired up as alcohol and music or coffee and people watching.

Alright, Mr. Khanebus expert.

Well it does primarily depend on the grower, but most the most part people just listen to rap songs and assume the shit they talk about is legit ass weed. I've also never heard any good things about "Alabama Kush" although California really doesn't need or take many imports when it comes to pot unless they are out of country or from Washington or Oregon and occasionally Colorado.
