A voice comes over the holonet with the symbol of cyber technologies moving around circularly.
"Cyber Technologies, bringing advanced technology to today."
Cyber Technologies, recently formed after the vice president of medicorp took over after the assassination of the owner of the company, quick consolidation and reformation of the companies infrastructure allowed for a smooth transaction of the once powerful now dead medical development firm.
The tragedy hit home to Vice President Zepherus Aidol, now known as the foreman of Cyber Technologies. He was quoted having "Lost not just a business partner, but a friend." in the galactic holonet article about the companies rapid acceleration into the development of technological weaponry and cybernetic enhancement.
However, it seems little time was spent mourning for the dead president of the dead corporation, some even suspect foul play on Zepherus's part, he was after all the only one to gain. To this day however no proof can be brought against him, and he only grows stronger in the senate each day making facing trial a point of little concern.
A large portion of funding comes from the corporations selling of project information deemed unnecessary from the previous medicorp. The rest from business deals picked up quickly with republic forces, and with private security firms. Money is not an issue here, oh no, this corperation was built on steady foundations with many contacts already in place from the previous corperation and little work was needed for it to earn megacoperation status and a seat on the senate.
In a few short months it seems a tragedy was turned to financial success as some were expecting medicorp a failing company to go under due in no small part to the generous donations, and ill advised spending of funds by the president of the corperation himself who seemed more interested in appearance than in business. Now under its new name and venu of service shows an impressive 60% increase in revenue from its previous annual draw.
The head of the company see's over the technological development committee as well as acting as it's foreman or president. Currently they are focusing on the advancement of droid mechanical fields, cybernetics for the use of enhancement such as various implants to boost effective reaction time in combat through adrenal gland manipulation, or simple replacement of organic eyes for those that can see in various spectrums of lights, or see farther away. Next comes development into better metal alloys for the improvement of weaponry and defense and finally into area's of space craft arms and armor for ships.
Several space stations, and on planet facilities were kept during the consolidation of medicorp. For obvious security reasons the station in the kuat sector was sold to the kuat drive yards after erasing anything not worth keeping and moving all valuable machinery to another location. However four locations were kept open, two space stations, and two planet-side factories. Their locations are on-world of the planets Castell, Cilpar, and orbiting the planets Skako, and Ash in their respective systems with the head of the corporation being the space station at Skako.
