Czerka utilizes black sites to maintain covert deployment of whatever sells. Our team is supposed to get briefed on Trandosha. Which floor, do you remember? 18 or 80? The elevator opens, revealing an army of Rakghouls behind reinforced glass in scientific environment. Czerka wants to keep their secrets.

THEME

Bilogical weapons are living organisms or replacing entities. Czerka decided to take it to the next level when they managed to collect two specimens from Taris. The origins of Rakghouls stood undiscovered for the science team, but it mattered less than it's capabilities. The program aimed for creating expendable super soldiers, and of course, selling them to the highest bidder.

"Which floor, do you remember? Eighteen or eighty?" Jay asked his partners inside the black site's turbolift. "I think she said eighty-- Or Minus eighteen?" He pressed the button and the elevator started descending. "Glad we're finally getting paid. I was close to shouting the manager's head off. What are you going to do with all the credits?" Jay looked at Solus, grinning. "You, I know. You will take that waitress on a spice trip."

The doors opened when they reached the desired level. "Is the briefing room at the end?" As they walked Jay got goose bumps under his armor. The cold air continously ventilated and the tidy corridors resembled rather laboratory-like environment over Czerka directors hallways.

Jay realized they were on the wrong floor when someone dressed in white from head to toe was about to shut the door behind himself. Maybe they could ask him?
"Hey, excuse me!" Jay ran over to the laboratory assistant and held the door. "Excuse me--"

As he peered inside he noticed them. There could be dozens behind the glass, and he could only see the first room out of many.

Alarms went off. Red spotlights illuminated the whole level. Jay grabbed the assistant's head and forcefully slammed it into the reinforced doorframe.
"ZOMBIES!" Jay screamed. "Oh no, no, no! That's trouble. We can't take the lift, they can trap us there!" The only chance of escape remained through the Rakghouls.

Corser walked behind the two and remained quiet. She normally didn’t talk a lot when on assignment. She did notice the Imperial agent enjoyed his gab. Watching the room and following the two carefully, she immediately felt the conditions in the room as we transition to what she could only assume was a lab. The human thought for a second about how she hated labs. They were hard to exit and always had additional security measures to be concerned with. Her eyes looked around the rooms and hallways, exploring the walls and mapping the place in her head. A skill she had picked up from her training as an assassin for the Sith. They always had us sneaking everywhere.

Jay was attempting to get someone attention and then slammed their head against the wall. Immediately reaching for vibroblade, the sheath released the weapon as she swung it around into defense posture. “Did you say Zombies?” But her words were drowned out by the blaring alarms. That can’t be good.

Corser turned around, recalling the map layout, she instructed the group to follow her. The zombies moved quickly with purpose. Keeping her distance, she led the group down a hallway. “We need to cut the alarms. It’s just going to stir more of them.” She wasn’t sure where she heard that but it sounded like a good idea.

Life was a simple equation. All you needed to do was have money and you could do anything. Czerka was that way for Cardinal to get money. He had been doing several jobs for them now, and today he'd again be working with Imperial agent, Jay and merc, Kas. Unfortunately he was late to the meeting, the second time in a row. He swore he wouldn't do it again, and yet here he was.

Cardinal and his troops walked through the security checkpoint on the first floor, one of many. They walked through the hallway and reached the elevator. "
Hm, which floor is the meeting on?" A woman passed by the group. "Uh, hey lady, yeah you work here?" Cardinal looked at the name tag on the woman's shirt. "Great, me and my fellows are supposed to be meeting with some person. Do you know what floor we're supposed to be on?" The woman nodded, and took out her datapad, scrolling through the many meetings she had on her agenda. "May I have your name sir?" Cardinal smiled, another opportunity to spread his name out, and especially to Czerka, "Of course, Cardinal Paroaria. Spelled C a r d-" The lady looked up annoyed, "Yes, I know how to spell Cardinal thank you very much....Ah here we go. Yes you are on floor 80. Anything else?" Well the woman was rude, "Thank you, and yes there actually is something else you can do for me." Cardinal reached in his suit jacket, and pulled out a stack of his contact cards. "If you could be a darling, could you distribute these for me? They're my contact information, and i hope to work more closely with Czerka in the future. I'm sure we can have a great relationship. The company I mean of course." The woman smirked, "Of course." She took the cards, and briskly walked away. "Well that was nice. Eighty it is." Cardinal pressed the button for floor eighty and stepped into the turbolift.

Cardinal hummed to himself as the elevator rose, passing floors. All of a sudden, the lift suddenly stopped, and red lights inside flashed brightly. "
The heck are we here already?" The doors didn't open. "Are we stuck!? You two, get this thing open now!" They were all trapped on a lift, and no where to go. Suddenly, a woman's voice went over the intercom, "WE HAVE A CODE RED. I REPEAT A CODE RED. WE HAVE A SITUATION OF FLOOR EIGHTEEN, I REPEAT FLOOR EIGHTEEN> ALL SECURITY PERSONEL, PLEASE PROCEED TO 18." A few moments later the doors were pushed open by Cardinal's men. "WHAT IS HAPPENING! THIS HAS TO BE CONNECTED TO JAY SOMEHOW. WHAT FlOoR Ar WWe OON?" CArdinal screamed as he took out his blaster. The group walked out of the lift, weapons raised.

There was screaming everywhere, and people running everywhere. "
Is that Jay and Kas? HEY JAY, KAS I"M HERE WHATS GOING ONNN?"

Once Jay, Kassanda and Cardinal regrouped Czerka guards started flooding the level. "There they are," screamed someone from their group as he spotted the intruders.

"There are too many of them," Jay hissed. "I will release the beasts, have them eat what they cooked!" He looked over at the safety mechanism. Czerka system were familiar, always simple and straight to the point, so no one could mess up something. Jay pulled the lever next to the chamber's entrance.

"Let's get out of here quickly."

When the guards reached the open chamber the simple abominations noticed their opportunity. Totally unexpected, they jumped on the armored personnel and fed from them. They became infected. Jay kept shooting into the whole bunch, killing a few of them.

"Run! Run! Keep running! There must be a way out here!"

“Cardi, Jay!” She yelled in their direction. “Follow me, I know the way.” Jay opened the pin as the Rakghouls escaped the pins. Kass not sure what was in the secured rooms but understood it couldn’t be good. The hilt of the blade rotated in her palms; the blade of the sword extended down the edge of her arm. After she confirmed that her partners were following, Kass pushed through tunnels.

Taking a left and right, she paused for a moment to remember the path. Her head scanned to the left and then to the right. “This way.” She pushed the group further into the floor of the research which put distance between them and the hostiles. Screams echoed down the hall as the Rakghouls feasted on the armored soldiers.

Everything happened so fast, Cardinal didn't know what was going on. Cardinal watched as Jay went to the chamber holding the "experiments" and he released the beasts. Cardinal thought the man was insane. "We won't stand a chance against them! There's too many of them" Cardinal couldn't do anything about it anymore. What was done was done, the zombies had been let out, and he bet his supposed future with Czerka wouldn't happen. The group had found out a secret experiment, and they had even released the product. They'd probably have bounties on their heads shortly. It was a possibility though, that Czerka didn't know who let them loose. Cardinal watched in horror as the zombies began eating the employees.

"
We're totally screwed, how do we get out of here!?" Cardinal screamed. He noticed that those who were attacked by the zombies, became zombies. It was becoming too much. Cardinal's mind snapped to attention when he heard Kas shouting. She knew a way. The group ran, Kass leading the way. Secret tunnel? Cardinal thought, of course there were tunnels, it was Czerka. Cardinal pulled out a grenade as he ran and tossed it behind him towards the advancing zombies. "We got 'em." The grenade exploded perfectly in the middle of the group of zombies, sending bodies everywhere. Many zombies were dead, but there were still a few of them.

The tunnel twisted and turned, and Cardinal wondered if Kass knew where she was leading them, or if she was just blindly walking. Up ahead there could be worse.

Rolling for grenade precision. (success)

The escape trip seemed to work so far. Jay failed to notice that the Rakghoul turned some of the employees, since it didn't happen that quick. Following Kassanda they bailed fast enough to move up some levels.

More guards met the team.
"Hold! Hold!" Screamed their sergeant. "We are all going to die if we don't work together!"

Jay kept aiming at him.
"Speak!"

"These creatures, they make the infected return as they are! They are going to overrun the site and we are all going to die!"

"We are not going to die if we leave in time."

Roaring Rakghouls appeared behind.
"Watch it!" The guards opened fire, but not at Jay and his partners. They only shot the creatures.

"Damn it," Jay said as he took cover with Cardinal and Kassanda. "Should we help or go through them?"

Kass paused a moment. She listened to the conversation. “He makes a valid point about being outnumbered. We could benefit from each other.” She said while tossing a throwing knife into the skull of an infected worker. She gripped the force from within to pull the dagger back to her hands. “Plus, he likely knows where the exits are.” The group could read the smirk from the tone in her voice masked by her onyx helmet. Some Rakghouls rounded the corner, she pointed to them. “I suggest making a decision quickly.”

Everything seemed to be going somewhat according to plan. Until a group of Czerka soldiers ran into them. The group halted, and everyone pointed weapons at each other. "Work together? You serious? You'll just become extra luggage we'll have to keep track of. At the end you'll probably just arrest us." Cardinal would of just ordered his men to shoot the guards if it weren't for Jay's interjection. "Well us dieing is all thanks to you buddy." Cardinal tensed as he watched the guards shoot beyond them and at the fast approaching Rakgouls."FINE whatever, let's get the kriff out of here!" Cardinal and his men fired along with the guards at the zombies.

The eight zombies didn't stand a chance. The blasterfire cut down all of the zombies. "
Let's get a move on before more come!"

When the last Rakghoul went down Jay tossed his blaster rifle over his shoulder and left his cover. He winked at Cardinal as he turned around and approached the remaining guards. "Good job brothers."

They seemed delighted they got the best out of the situation. Finishing the threat was clearly their priority, situation under control. But what about these people who just showed up?

By the time they gathered what they knew Jay held his "Quickdraw" Blaster Pistol at the closest guard's side. He wrapped his vacant arm around his neck.
"This is our insurance," he said. "You let us out of here and nobody gets hurt."

Without any delay Jay led the man toward the exit.

The men blasted the zombies in the direction of the zombie, rifle bolts scream and silence as they met the fleshy skin of the targets. As a few came within range of the group, the blade of the assassin sliced and cut, hands and heads flew in various directions while she ensured none of the party got infected. Kassanda flicked her wrist and the sword exhale the lingering remains of the rakghouls from the sharp blade. She whipped the blade around and grabbed the hilt upside-down with the blade extending up the back of her arm. The remaining Rakghouls were falling from the extensive blaster fire of her comparts.

Jay held his blaster to the side of a guard, Kass maneuvered herself to be closer to the group, while watching the remaining guards’ actions. She readied a throwing knife with her free hand. “We should make like a tree and get out of here.” Barely able to hold a smirk back as she said the words.

Cardinal was a quick thinker. Apparently Jay was an even quicker one. As soon as the last of the rakgouhls was blasted, Jay took his blaster and put it against the nearest guard. It only took a hot second to understand what Jay was planning. He nodded at his men, and they also leveled their weapons at the Czerka guards. The guards were taken aback, but didn't resist either, they were outnumbered. "Well, we can't keep them all hostage. Take the highest ranking one, and I'll do something to the rest." Cardinal and his men took out a few grenades and gave them to the guards. Once the guards had a firm grip on the bombs, Cardinal took out the pins. The guards would have to hold on the grenades for dear life. If they reached for their weapons or communication devices, they would be blasted to bits, and if they attempted to toss them towards Cardinal's group, they would also be in the blast radius.

"
Good luck fellas!" Cardinal followed Kass and Jay through the tunnel, wondering if he would hear the boom.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. If they let go of the grenade, they immediately die. The guards understood the rules. But not all of them. Their youngest only joined Czerka Corps less than one year ago, due his father's connections he landed on the black site where he never expected to work one day. He was scared. Shocked. Entirely overwhelmed by emotions and stimuli. Not the kind of pressure he was used to. If he survived the incident, he probably wouldn't even remember what happened to the intruders, what happened to the grenade, and what happened at all to him and his friends.

When his fight or flight instincts triggered he let go of the explosive device. Slightly in attempt to throw it, yet as he lifted his finger it went off.

Jay's hostage flinched as they overheard the explosion.
"Damn it, I nearly shot you! Don't fiddle. Don't." On the way out they didn't meet anyone else.

Most of the Czerka workers already left. They escaped with the ships or fled into the forest.

"What should we do?" Jay lowered his gun, no longer aiming at the guard. "We need to seal this place down. Now we have the opportunity, before the whole planet goes down in insurgency."

Kass watched the group. “Do we have explosives?” Her eyes darted from one human to the other. Flicking the last bit of blood off the sword, she sheathed the blade. She examined the room and attempted to look for structural points to place the explosives for maximum effectiveness. She identifies various locations while pointing to locations on the wall. Anyone with basic understanding would have noticed that the locations were awful. “Shall we blow this and roll?”

Cardinal smiled to Kass, "Of course we have explosives. All I got are grenades, don't know if they'll be useful, we might need something more stationery something that won't roll away from the target. Although if grenades are all we got, then we have no other option." He didn't know why she would need explosives, was she gonna blow the whole building or tunnel to bits? If the bombs were placed in the wrong places, the whole building could collapse on them killing them, or worse, trapping them.

Cardinal watched as she picked out places that she thought were ideal weak points. "
I don't mean any offense, but the places you picked are awful. A grenade or explosive there would bring the whole building down on us. Let me find some places."

Cardinal walked over to the walls, and bent down, patting them. "
Hmm seems stable enough, but a grenade could do the job." Cardinal continued to walk around, carefully examining the interior, and finding weak-spots. "Ok, I think I've got it. There, there and there should bring this bad boy down, sealing off the way we came, and effectively trapping the zombies, enabling our escape." If no one objected, or offered another solution, Cardinal would instruct his men to place the grenades in the before-mentioned areas. "Lean them against the wall, pull the pins and let's get the kriff out of here." They did as they were told, and a few moments later, they were running, yet again for their lives through the exit, well-timed explosions triggering shortly behind them.

The explosions went off, but despite everyone's efforts somehow Rakghouls still managed to get out of the facility, or maybe they were in the surrounding area already.

"This whole area needs orbital bombardment," Jay said. "I can't believe Czerka couldn't keep this safe."

Jay ran towards their ship side by side with Cardinal and Kassanda. Upon reaching the docking area the remaining creatures started catching up.

"Kark," Jay cursed. "Get to the ship, I will hold them off!"

He wanted to play the hero. He felt overconfident given the situation. He trusted his team enough that they won't leave him behind.

Jay dropped on his chest flat and took his rifle into his hands. He controlled his breathing and started taking them out as they came. Whatever life they had ended right there. When the first wave stopped Jay sprinted back to the ship.

In the end Trandosha left Jay Czerka's valuable secret. Basis for blackmailing, takedown, whatever his superiors will see fitting.
