This is a new beginning. I was once a pedlar, a simpleton, a gadget enthusiast. But I am now a true believer. Technology is what drives us, it is what binds us, it is what brings us all that we desire and need. I am physically bound by technology, which brings me even closer to the penultimate.
I search for a new family now, people who appreciate technology and its use for good in the galaxy. I have no need for love or fame outside of this technology that surrounds me. I am one with it.....

Daiton is a slicer, a computer hacker, a technophile. He is in love with technology and has been for a long time. Almost to a fault, actually, and it comes out in a lot of his past and in his place in the galaxy as of late. Earlier a hacker, later an elite programmer and gadget enthusiast, Daiton becomes more than a human, complete with cybernetic implants including a HUD and direct links to the very technology he invents and improves.

HISTORY
Daiton Jor was born on Coruscant and was raised by his parents the entire time. He grew up just after the wars and saw the harm both the Sith and the Jedi caused. However, he and his father did not let that stop their work - working on and repairing computer systems. Even when his mother left them to go live with her sisters further out in the outer rim, they remained to continue work. It was a way to keep money coming, but also a sense of duty towards their home planet. The Jor family line went back many generations on Coruscant.
Daiton's father encouraged him to look into other work, at least out of war-threatened space. An accident during some work on the computer systems for a small planetary craft left Daiton with burns and scars stretching across some of his face - cybernetics were the only solution, but they later gave way to many advantages.
With all of this pressure and the injury aftermath piling up, Daiton decided to leave. And along the way he caught many jobs, some for good, many not so much. He had a shack that was his residence and office. It was his refuge and his protection. Here he learned more about computer systems, more about technology, and here he began to explore his own inventions - programs, technologies, and more. Not so much weapons, but definitely items that began to pique the interest of others.
Improving his HUD, adding ion pulse technology to a simple blaster pistol, creating a very powerful stun baton, inventing insanely powerful datapads and computer chips - these were but small steps on the way to glory in technology, and to realize a higher purpose. The excitement of his life was just beginning...

SKILLS
Daiton is a talented slicer and computer systems expert. His keen intellect lets him apply his mind to almost any computing task, given enough time and some basic background information. He probably could slice a government computer, he just didn't have the time to take all the proper precautions and also didn't want to risk his life - or that of his family. Suffice it to say he is an expert at most computer systems, and could easily become an expert of unfamiliar ones given time or tools.
Daiton is not strong, is not agile, and is not a good fighter. He carries a couple basic small weapons, but he is no threat in that regard. He could get walloped and bested by almost any experienced melee fighter. That said, he has some great defenses and he can hide pretty well, and evade certain situations using his technology. He can be deceptive in a way, worming his way out of these sorts of sticky situations.
Stats
STRENGTH: Daiton is fairly weak physically, and would not do well against almost anyone in a melee sort of situation. He struggles in physical challenges such as climbing and jumping and running.
DEXTERITY: Likewise, Daiton is also not very dextrous. He can get around fairly well due to his size, but he stumbles a lot when in a hurry.
CONSTITUTION: The slicer has fairly average health and status. As a youth he is fairly able to fend off most illnesses and injuries, given time and medicines of course.
INTELLIGENCE: Daiton is extremely intelligent and, with his cybernetic implants, has the ability to tap into his datapad. He is extremely gifted in this area and very knowledgeable on computer and security systems. Not much challenges him, other than when you start getting into high-end, classified government systems of course.
WISDOM Daiton is fairly wise generally speaking, but that is only because of the memory banks (both natural and technological). He can access a lot of data and then use that when needed, but it is not an innate physical ability per se.
CHARISMA: Daiton is about as easy flowing and smooth as a Mynok in a cage. He is clumsy, nervous - often mumbling to himself instead of directly speaking to people, and just weird. He is best kept 'plugged in' and talking to computers.
