"Yeah, super smooth," she grinned, though something about her tone was sarcastic and less than impressed. This building was bigger, that much was true, but compared to buildings on the other 3 planets she' been on in her life time, it was really between small and average. Rev quikened the pace, and she hurried to match his. "So do you know this mayor guy? Or is this just going to be a 'Hi. I'm a perfect stranger to you but you invited me here because I can use the Force. Need any help?' kind of thing?"

Toefi supposed that was a Jedi thing, but it still seemed wierd to her. If Rev had spoken first and said something along those lines, it would probably sound more noble and important. Jedi-like. Her way made it just sound like something really awkward that she'd have to push through.

(( Don't worry about it. I understand :) ))

He laughed and couldn't help but shake his head at the comment about how the meeting would go. She pretty much hit it right on with the comment. It was the Jedi way of doing things, they got called in, were completely trusted, then sent off. Some planets weren't so friendly to the Jedi, so he'd see how this one took the two.

"That's usually how it goes Toefi... sometimes we'll get invited back for dinner or some other meal... if we're lucky."

He flashed her a kidding smile before walking through the archway into the office where a secretary sat with a half smile.

"Greetings.... are you the Jedi? Here to help us with the situation?"

Giving her a subtle nod Rev spoke.

"We're here to be at your service m'lady...."

He offered her a slight bow before she smiled.

"The mayor will be right with you, he's with a client at the moment."

"Thank you."

Looking at Toefi he took in a deep breath and stood in his place waiting for the moment to be sent in.

Toefi nodded at the secretary, offering a completely fake smile, as many people do give to strangers, to show her gratefulness for the woman's help. Bah. That lady was getting paid to tell people to sit down and wait. Why not do something herself? Toefi wasn't a fan of secretaries.

She ambled over to stand close beside Rev and whispered with a smile "I'm looking forward to that dinner." She had no problems working with Rev. Despite being a Jedi Knight he could still kid around, and she liked that. Sometimes someone who can make you laugh gains more respect than a genius or leader.

(( Sorry I haven't been on. Hosted a party. Babysat. Finals are this week. Been a bit busy. ))

Rev looked over at Toefi and laughed at her comment. As the doors opened he shook his head at the short man and made a comment of his own only audible enough for the two to hear.

"I feel we may have to get our own dinner.. for his might not be too filling."

He smirked as the Mayor spoke to them.

"Ahh! Master Jedis... Do come in!"

Following the man into the office he looked around, it was apparent he was a hunter by the looks of things. Standing in front of his desk Rev gave the man a subtle bow.

"How can the Jedi Order be of assistance to you?"

Toefi smirked at Rev's reply and had to repress a giggle as the followed her master and the Mayor toward the little man's office. Just looking at all his 'trophy animals' from the doorway made her want to sneeze. Stupid fur allergies. Brushing some loose hair strands behind her ears she entered the room.

"Hello Mr. Mayor," she grinned, nodding her head politely as Rev had already asked what they could do to help. Didn't he know already why they were here? Whatever. Toefi didn't copy his bow. Bowing wasn't her thing. She just stood uncomfortably beside Rev in front of the desk, awaiting her first mission from this midget of a Mayor.

Rev waited patiently as the man spoke.

"On the eastern plains theres a band of thugs... pirates if you will. Set up a camp, swoops, speeder bikes, land speeders, and the like. They have a pretty strong perimeter set up. Some motion detectors that set off an alarm. Needless to say they've killed 4 of my best in the past week!"

Pounding his fist into the table he took in a deep breath.

"They attack our farms and have even stolen some valuable equipment. I ask of you two to get it back and if you can, rid us of the pirates. It would be greatly appreciated and us on Delaya would not forget your help."

He smiled and awaited a reply.

Nodding in approval Rev spoke out.

"We will get right to it. I assure you we will be off your lovely planet before the week. We will do what we can to assure both sides are treated equally though Mayor... there could be other reasons they are here."

The mayor nodded and motioned for them to leave with his hands.

Other reasons? Toefi thought, but shrugged knowing that Rev would know what he was talking about. He was more experienced after all. As soon as the Mayor motioned for them to leave, Toefi was out the door. She wasn't one for offices.

"So Delaya won't forget our help, huh?" Toefi grinned as she turned around to see Rev "Sounds like we're going to be heroes here. Awesome. So, off to meet some pirates now?" Her excitement to meet nasty, rude, violent pirates wasn't masked very well. Motion detectors would probably be tricky, but Tefi knew she could pull her own weight in a fight, especially since she had her lightsabers. Her hands reached down to touch the dangling metal cylinders at her hips and her smile grew.

Rev looked over at her and smirked, she was a bit too aggressive he thought before nodding at the characteristic of his padawan running through him head.

"Remeber Toefi... we try and sort things through words, only as a last resort to we go to violence."

He smiled before heading towards where the Mayor had directed them. Out in the distance he could see smoke from the encampment along with a lone motion detector. It would be their farthest reaching one he thought, it would indeed be tricky slipping by these goons.
