Jey's exploration of his own family heritage had made Astra become interested in her own. Although she doubted her parents had such heritage as Jey's had, she was still interested to explore where she had came from nonetheless. She had always wondered whether or not her parents knew about her and Alana's force sensitivity or maybe her own parents were force sensitive and knew it... she hoped to find out.
Since she had been involved in Jey's family affairs, she thought it would be nice to have him join her while she explored her own, that and she really wanted the company. The thought of spending a day alone in her old, now-abandoned home wasn't the most appealing and Alana didn't seem like a suitable companion for something that could be so sensitive as she believed her sister to be in quite a fragile mental state. But she also wanted an excuse to spend more time with Jey anyway.
For the last hour or so she had been sifting through boxes of things that had been left in cupboards for storage, most provided fond memories of the happy times she used to share with her family here but there were some more painful ones. So far she had found nothing of importance, only a few identification papers and some books in a language she couldn't identify.
At the sound of a knock on the door, a smile spread across her face and she got off the floor to open the door to Jey. "Hi! Come in." She stepped aside to let him in. "I'm afraid I can't offer much hospitality, there's no heating, electricity or running water." She told him before returning to her position on the floor. "Look, it's me and Alana!" She held up a photo of her and Alana in matching outfits as toddlers.
