The outer rim, a place of mystery, beauty, and danger. For Alek, danger was exactly what he was in, there had been a small skirmish in the outer rim when a small ship he was on going to help with a dispute on one of the smaller planets in the system. He had been knocked out during the fight, but he wasn’t left there. Instead he was taken prisoner by one of the exiles that were there. Now on his transport ship Alek was waking up to be chained to a cell wall. He looked around dazed confused, his dark grey robes, and dual saber no where to be seen. His short black hair a mess, he tried to break his chains but to no avail, he stopped his struggle “Where am I?” He thought to himself. He then heard a voice one that always seemed to bother him at the worst times “Always the weak Jedi that can’t take care of himself, it’s great to talk again.” Aleks head hurt for a moment “Shut up, why do you have to bother me now?” Then his thoughts turned to the sound of footsteps coming tward him he looks to see a dark figure now outside his cell. He couldn’t see his face since covered with black robes, but he could feel this persons power. It seemed to come off in waves somthing that somewhat shook Alek. The lighting was dim the figure would probably be only to see half of Alek face till he came closer, this part showing one of his dark brown eyes, and the scar running down under his right eye. “So who are you supposed to be?” Alek said with a drop of sarcasm, he was in no mood for games “Why don’t you take of the chains, and we can have a little fun?” Alek loved combat even for a Jedi, though without his sabers he would have to go hand to hand with the force, so he was more set on escaping for now. He would simply wait to see who this man was, because he was in no position to do much else.

The fight had been short, his men had ambushed the ship's crew and the battle had been quickly won. They had taken a Jedi Prisoner. This would be his third Jedi captured. He had remained nearby as the life had been snuffed out of the last two once they had been drained of any information.

He hadn't reported this one, not yet at least. This man didn't seem special, at least at first glace. Zazai's armored boots echoed throughout the hallway as he walked. One of his soldiers followed closely behind. Zazai's massive figure had to duck somewhat to get in the room with their captured prisoner. The cell was currently barely lit. He stood, staring at the pathetic figure of the man chained to the wall. He stood in silence, hood still pulled over his face.

The Jedi taunted him, an unwise mistake that he had been repeated by each and every Jedi he had encountered. At least the other ones had done so before their capture. This Jedi had already proven himself to be not worth much time. He remained quiet, letting the Jedi challenge him. After several long seconds, he removed his hood and stared at the man with golden yellow eyes. Zazai had a hard look, no signs of being rattled or really any real sign of emotion.

He nodded to the soldier who had accompanied him who pulled his stun baton before he drove it into the Jedi's side. The pain would be excruciating, especially considering any injuries he had suffered during his capture. The shock went on for five seconds, and then ten, and then fifteen before Zazai finally nodded and the soldier withdrew.

They then both turned and left the cell. A few seconds later the cell would be filled with a painfully bright light. Even if the Jedi closed his eyes it would be bright. "Perhaps a night to his own thoughts will provide our guest with clarification on his situation. If he falls asleep, wake him." he said turning to leave.

Alek now faced with the figure unhooded saw as he ordered a soldier with him to shock him. The pain corsed through his body, he strained against his restraines but again to no avail, the seconds went by with a consistent shock the Jedi yelled in pain. Then finally it stopped, Alek gasped to regain his breath, his breathing heavy now looking at the exile his eyes glowed as they stared into him. Then the two leaving him still chained still in a bit of pain “Guess you really pissed him off didn’t you.” Alek heard the dark voice in his head then replying “Dwamn that hurt, just need to stay strong like my master would have.” The voice spoke again. “your master is dead by the hands of the likes of him yet you still resist the dark sides call.” Seconds later of silence lights came on, so bright the jedis eyes hurt. Try as he may to look away or shut his eyes it would not help, so there he stayed minutes, hours, who knew how long, all the while he would fight against the restraints yelling. Then when he tired and stopped he was woken by another controlled shock, and this happened again and again. An endless cycle, the longer he stayed his yells became less of desperation, to more of anger, threats against the crew and hatred. To make. The situation worse, the dark voice within never yielded in taunting him of how weak he was or how he would die like a coward. Finally he grew silent, alive, but silent not fighting just still waiting for somthing to change, just a moment of somthing else. Hey knew that if he was allowed to break as a weak person he would die so he just hanged and waited. Trying to stay as strong as he could because he was a force of light, but yet may fade as the darkness sourrounded him.

The night came and went. He half expected to find the Jedi dead in the morning. He would have been angered at his soldiers, but the punishment would have been light for such transgressions. He found himself a tad disappointed for finding him alive, but he supposed he couldn't fault them for following orders to the letter.

The lights were lowered to a normal level and Zazai grabbed the large bucket as the doors slid open and he stepped back inside the cell. He threw the ice cold water on the captured Jedi and waited for him to regain some semblance of focus.

He remained silent yet again, seeing if the Jedi would open his mouth in defiance or if the unpleasant night would be taught the man his lesson. He took no pleasure in torture, there was no thrill in this thing but it was necessary and it was better than anything the Jedi would find if given over to the rest of the Sith.

After several seconds he would wave a hand, motioning for the guards to loosen the slack on the chains, lowering the Jedi enough where he could sit on the cold metal ground. He continued to stare at him in silence. This could go several ways, and it was up to the Jedi to determine their direction.

Alek was glad the lights had dimmed, as he dangled he could hear footsteps once again. His eyes were adjusting again to the light, then ice water was thrown onto him. Cold, and damp now he said nothing his mind at a total blank for the moment, it woke him up, though not the best way, he was in a strange way grateful. Moments later he found himself lowered to the floor, again cold as well as wet, but not a word still. He sat and looked down, then the voice within speaks “Alive another day, I’m surprised you lasted an hour” then again “If not now then soon you are weak after all.” Over and over the inner voice tested him, to an extent it worked. Next a few sparks came from his hands, not a lot but noticeable, this had happened in a larger dose the last time he fought this voice. But Alek stopped and the power faded, he looks up to the figure that had captured him from the start. Alek he knew he was in no position or shape to fight, so for now he would just have to keep his cool until his situation changed. “Now I really don’t know what your after but I can assure you, I don’t think I’ll be saying anything of importance anytime soon, but I’ve got plenty of time by my current situation to just sit here until made otherwise so please ask away.” The. Alek said then just trying to keep things moving along at a secondary thought. “You know it’s funny, you remind me of someone I knew as a kid, pretty bad guy, stuff this guy did was just sick but at least you have some class with what you do.” Alek rambled “Yea I lost everything cause of him.” Alek then stared at the man looking at him a little confused “So, you gonna stare all day or are you gonna say somthing? I can ramble all day but I don’t think that’s why your here.”

Zazai stared at the man as he rambled on awkwardly. A sign that he was already breaking. He let the room fade into silence again before Zazai spoke, voice rumbling "I highly doubt you know anything that would be of any interest to me." he said which was mostly true. He cared little for the secrets of the Jedi. If they were so great, they would not be crumbling under the weight of the Empire.

"I had planned on using you as bait for other Jedi, but it turns out no one was that interested in your disappearance."
he continued. "So now what do I do with you?" he said

He said letting that fact sink in for a moment. Zazai's voice remained low, like a rumbling storm. "I will give you a choice." he said holding up two fingers. "First choice is I let you die. There is no shame in this. It is what I would recommend." he said giving the man a second to think. "Second choice is I give you an opportunity to prove your worth to me. Convince me you can be something more than a defeated and broken Jedi. This will be no easy task, and one that will likely result in a painful death." he said growing quiet again.

If the man smarted off, the soldier with Zazai would deliver a powerful shock to man. He wouldn't move until the Jedi chose an option. If he chose to die, Zazai would run his lightsaber through the man's heart. It would be a quick and painless death. If he chose to live, Zazai would leave again without words and the lights would turn back on, his torture continuing.

I didn't see that you had posted. If it ever goes a couple days without something from me feel free to shoot me a PM or a message on Discord! Sorry about the wait - I promise the thread will get more interesting with my next post : )

Alek listened to the exile, his words stern and carried weight. Was it true? Did no one care where he was? Aleks thoughts conflicted with others as he sat there he weighs his options. Die or live to prove his worth, he knew death was not an option he was to proud to cower from a challenge. Alek looks to the man that has givin these choices and speaks with a serious tone “Fine I’ll prove my worth as long as it means living to break these chains, and not being inpriosoned for ever. At this point I don’t care who I fight for or against, If no ones looking for me I’ve got nothing to loose.” He then watched as his captor left and his torture continued on and on, so began the test of worth for this young force user. Not sure of what to come but prepared to keep on living until he could take no more. This process was done over and over to build strenght, as his new sort of teacher called it, that pain was weakness leaving the body. Not only that but Alek was givin periods of time with loose chains to be givin physical conditioning to improve his strength. Then again with rounds of torture to make him more resilient to pain, for days this happened, Alek at times wanted to die at first, but as time went on he more and more forgot who he used to be listening more to his captor and the voice within his mind. Using that pain and suffering to become stronger, to refine himself into some one without fear in a way becoming brainwashed. One day Aleks new mentor came to his cell door, Alek was intrested in what he would say.

The body, even a stubborn one, could only take so much before it ceased to respond. Alek's was no different. He would eventually pass out. While the Jedi was unconscious he would be transported down to an unknown moon with a station frequented by pirates and other degenerates of the Galaxy. Eventually these scum would be purged from the Empire, but for now, they served a purpose the Zazai.

In the lowest level of this station sat a medium sized fighting arena. When Zazai had told the station owner that he had a Jedi to put in the fights, the man was ecstatic and paid no small amount of credits to the Sith knowing he would make his money back ten fold in the fights to come.

Alek would awake, body weak, thirsty, hungry in a metal box as it was slowly dropped down into the pit. He would find a wooden staff next to him at that was it. "Win and you shall earn a meal." Zazai spoke as the chains continued to lower the man down.

Whether he was fully conscious or not, as soon as the box hit the ground, another cage opened up on the other side. Out the darkness, a rough looking Nexu was forced out of the caged. It was half starved and underwent no small amount of abuse. It moved with a slight limp, favoring its left side but that didn't mean this creature was not dangerous. It was starving and now looked the Jedi as a meal. It growled as it cautiously moved forward.

Alek had woken to find himself in a box, he knew he was off the ship. His body still sore, hungry and somewhat weak at the moment, he stood and exited the box as he picked up the wooden staff. He had his orders win for a meal, Alek had no intention in loosing, but said nothing his once playful tone, and sarcastic talk all but gone from the tourture. He then looked to the other side of the fighting ring as a Nexu entered, mean, aggressive but a sort of limp by the looks of it. Just like Alek it was hungry, beaten, desprit. Alek pushed any thoughts of death aside or worry, he had nothing to loose, the beast growled as it came closer it’s teeth sharp it’s claws razors. Alek readied and started to pace as the Nexu did both ready to attack at a moments notice, both wanting to live another day and ready to kill for their next meal to do so. The Nexu leaped tward Alek, he rolled them smacked it with his staff then standing to ready himself again, attack after attack Alek stayed head barley until he began to tire on his last attack. The beast angry with the blow swiped and scratches aleks left arm, backing up gripping the arm in pain Alek angrily yelled at the animal. “This goes to long, I’ll end you now!” Then snapping a small portion of staff so the end now splintered and sharp, he lifted his hand to let forth a small volley of force lightning to slightly stun the beast. The taking the moment of weakness he leaped staff in hand and impailed the Nexu through its side, the beast howls in pain as the now stake is drivin into him. Alek with no remorse drives it further into the animal, they tousle and a cloud of smoke formed blocking view of the two. Moments later the sound of silence, the dust clears to see Alek standing up above the Nexu, it’s blood painting his body. The watchers cheer for the fight, a celebration for sure, but the young ex Jedi stood with an expression as cold as death. Turning back to his box, tired, bruised, wounded, and hungry for the meal promised. As he enters the darkness once again the voice in his head even confused asked “who are you?” Who was Alek, that had no awnser anymore, time would only tell what he would become.
