DESCRIPTION
Despite the name, this device is used by law enforcement agencies to download the contents of more than just datapads: smart watches, armour HUDs, those fridges that order your milk for you when you run out - anything with a data connection - will all be downloaded into the memory of this extractor. Any encrypted data will be copied as is. That's to say it still needs decrypting, but can be done at leisure.
With the correct wireless connection, the data can be downloaded straight to the cloud.

LEGALITY
This is an item that fraudsters would love to use. Therefore, possession is restricted and a person found with one will have to prove that it was not for illegal use.

INTENT
For law enforcement characters to be able to extract data from devices: location data, messages etc.

ADVANCED TECH
YES. This requires 2 threads to acquire lawfully, 3 on the black market.

It doesn't download necessarily, but that's like...pushing a button IC after you slice into the security. *clicks download* or *moves files*
.
..
...
done

Having a device that downloads as soon as the files are available is like making a writeup for a ship saying "this one auto adjusts the height of your captain's chair" When you can just pull a lever and do that or its assumed that's taken care of.

I agree with @Darasuum, this submission is pretty much redundant. Therefore, archived.
