Nar shadda.... one of the most corrupt planet on the galaxy, controlled by hutts, mercenary gangs and pirates. Always in a power struggle over and over again until one gains the upper hand then outside help is asked. such help was asked of a mercenary leader who owned APD at the time. The place where APD was laying had marks of battle all around it. But when examinating you can see the droid wasn't deactivated of blaster fire or anything similar the droid is besides the scorch marks and dust on it perfectly intact it guns and other weapons hidden away in secret compartments or still firmly hold in its grip. There are body's lying around which have decayed over time. You can see symbols of an old mercenary gang and symbols of a hutt gang on a few of the body's aswell. Upon further examinating of the bodys you see a body with a symbol which is diffrent from the others it is modified.... this must be the leader of the gang which could mean that the once the leader died the droid deactivated... maybe its worth your time to try and reactivate the droid.... with even little skill there is some chance that you could reactivate the droid.

Qur'tik liked Nar Shadda. As a smuggler, it was his heaven. And today, it seemed he had been extra-fortunate, stumbling upon a little piece of heaven in heaven. An old battle scene. There was always something interesting to find where men had died.

The Jawa picked through the bodies, examining blasters and other equipment and pocketing anything that looked remotely useful. Suddenly, he stumbled upon a droid. He literally jumped for joy.

Droids were his passion. Kneeling down, he began to mutter to himself rapidly in Jawaese, inspecting the droid. It still looked nearly operational.

After he had attached a restraining bolt to the droid to make sure it would follow his orders, he took out his tools and got to work. He was certain he could have it reactivated in just a few minutes.

Word was that there was some hidden loot in a small, hidden area on Nar Shadda, and after getting some hints, Mulluns figured he would take a look while he was on planet. All he heard was that there was a small battle there awhile back and no one's been there since. After several hours, he arrived there, but from the looks, someone has recently passed through; He wasent the only one to know, he assumed. Regardless, he continued to move in until he came across an area with what looked like some long deceased corpses, a reactivated droid that sure as hell didnt look like a Protocal droid, and a Lone Jawa.

"You are a long way from your homeworld, Stranger."

It was rare for him to see a Jawa on another planet besides Tatooine, but he has heard of some who have moved offworld to seek bigger things then they would find on that wasteland known as Tatooine.

Qur'tik was concentrating so fully on his work with the droid, that he did not hear the human-cyborg approach. As soon as Mulluns spoke, it was as if the Jawa had received an electric shock.

He jumped to his feet, whirling around and drawing his IWS blaster pistol (a weapon of his own invention) in his right hand and his Jawa ionization blaster in his left. He wasn't sure if the ion blaster would work on a cyborg, but he knew it completely disabled droids and figured it might just work if this came down to a fight.

Because he had been murmuring to himself in his own language, and had been startled, he instinctively shouted in Jawaese:

"A beton nya mombay m'bwa!"

In Basic, that meant 'This is mine, all mine!'. He breathed heavily for a moment.

"Mine," he stated simply in Basic. "All mine. And you, stranga, should not sneak up like that. I might have blasted you. This planet is dangaa-ous. Now, give name."

"Typical Jawa, always looking for Salvage. This may prove difficult..."

The Voice rang in his head, his eye lences flashing red brieftly.

"Call me Mulluns, I came here to get what i can get, but i see you beat me to it."

He seemed calm, even for a Cyborg who was on the verge of losing his mind to some Spirits. He took several steps towards the Jawa, looking down at him and his blaster in his hands. Knowing Jawas, it was probley an Ion based weapon, and that might prove dangerious to even Mulluns's armor that kept him breathing, but knew the Jawa wouldent use it unless he had too... or was stupid and wanted to try to capture him.

The droid sat amongst a pile of bodies in a shallow pit of concrete, perhaps a berth for small freighters before the city built over it. In the filtered light coming down from the neon signs above, the whole area was bathed in a faint orange colour, putting everyone on edge, whether they knew it or no.

Well, almost everybody. Kal wasn't going to let a colour disturb the calm that had fallen over him.Hopping down into the pit, he tilted his head ever so slightly to the right as he watched a cyborg and a jawa argue over the deactivated droid. Anyone but Kal would probably have burst into laughter at this point, but Kal had more self-control than that. He slowly headed for the droid, ignoring the arguing pair. There was something he had to be sure of.

The Jawa twitched slightly as the figure's eyes flashed red, and almost opened fire when he stepped closer. But, he restrained himself and pushed away his fear, nodding as the man gave a name.

"I am Qur'tik. And yes, I did beat you to it. But I've got all I want al'eady... Go ahead and find you'self some stuff. Except not this droid! The droid is mine."

The Jawa turned around again to get back to work, putting away his weapons. But he pulled them out again just as quickly when he saw what looked like a human approaching.

He seems a little young to have such white hair, but then... What do I know about humans?

Though the Jawa didn't know it, the approaching figure was not a human at all but an Echani: something much more dangerous.

"Togo togu!" he shouted, meaning 'Hands off!'. Both of Qur'tik blasters were pointed at the newcomer, though the ion blaster wouldn't do much more then give him a sting. He stood protectively over the droid, quickly looking back at Mulluns every few seconds to make sure the cyborg didn't try anything.

"The Droid... is not my concern."

Not only that, but he wasent one to fully trust one with his life. It was then he noticed that he and Qur'tik were not alone, and that there was someone else among them. Not knowing if this was a trap set by Nar Shadda's scum or not, he reached into his coat and pulled out both of his pistols and aimed them at the direction Qur'tik was aiming his gun. Looks like this loot was known by more then he had thought...

It was then he noticed it was another Human... An Echani by the looks of it. If he was here for the Droid, then this Jawa would have one hell of a bargain to make...

Kal turned his head slightly to regard the pair - suddenly arguing with each other seemed as significant as a grain of sand in the Dune Sea, when their similar interests were threatened by another. The enemy of my enemy is my friend...as long as the objectives remain consistant.

Kal noted with interest the ion blasters the Jawa held and the more...standard energy weapons held by the cyborg. Kal then murmured quietly, though the silence that had descended on the area was so that it was clearly audible.

'One should not hold two when they cannot even aim one properly,' he spoke, though to whom his speech was directed at...one could not be sure.

The Jawa narrowed his eyes at the pale man's words.

"One should nevaa judge the aim of one he's nevaa seen shoot!"

Qur'tik pulled the trigger of the blaster in his right hand - not the ion blaster, the IWS blaster pistol he had designed and constructed himself. The shot went right by the man's head. The air literally sizzled.

"That was warning shot. You won't get two. Droid is mine."

Bod stumbled along, every so often readjusting his overly large backpack which forced him to hunch his back slightly. He grunted annoyingly, coming to a halt as he passed the trio. He turned to face them. "Excuse me - would you know where cantina - ooh, what an interesting droid you have there! Ah-hah!"

He then looked down the Jawa, noticing those menacing blasters. "Uh, wrong time? It's always the wrong time. Oh, dear. Oh, dear, dear." The Ithorian shook his head, and took a cautionary step backwards. "Don't, uh, mind me."

Kal didn't even give his Jawa friend the gratification of even flinching as the bolt whizzed past his head. In fact, even more disturbing was the fact the Echani's expression or stance didn't change in the least, not even when the skin on his left cheek blackened slightly in a gash across his pale skin.

'You should have killed me when you had the chance, Jawa. Warnings are for the weak,' he murmured, his somewhat relaxed stance suddenly changing as he suddenly turned around to face him, taking off suddenly with no warning in change of stance or vocal expression to give away the surprise rush of his attack. With expertise and obvious practive, Kal shifted his body weight to take the stress off his heel as he suddenly leapt away to the side of the Jawa, his blade swiping in a diagonal motion from the lower back to the critter's neck. Any other blade would most likely have jammed in the bones of the creature, preventing the attack from being quick and painless, but Kal...well, his blade held many secrets, indeed.

Not even taking a chance, Mulluns took a step back away from Qur'tik, aiming his pistols at this Echani who was his sword drew and fired an aray of bolts at him, further taking steps back. As he fired his shots, he paused every sevral hald dosen blasts from each pistol, to prevent overheat and becoming stuck. His eye lenses also changed from the normal yellow to a now red color, the dark spirit inhabiting his body fueling his rage to fight.

Micke had been looking around Nar Shadda recently as he had just acquired a yacht but with the ID for the ship, he let it sit in a hangar with the original guards, two wookiees, and his "protocol droid". However, he had been drinking to stave off guilt of killing and he heard something about a droid so he decided to check it out. Fortunately, he was in full control of himself so he wouldn't have any problems of perception or aim should he have needed it.

Looking into a fairly small alley, he saw a jawa and cyborg fighting an echani. The echani looked familiar but he wasn't completely sure where it was he saw him. So he decided to try to check.

"Funny seeing you here," Micke said at a long enough distance that he would take a bit to aim if he were to be attacked.

Qur'tik loved droids, but not this much. He dropped flat to the ground as he saw the Echani leap, and activated his PCAA camoflauge. He was completely invisible, silent and undetectable while camoflauged - the only clue to his presence was an area of dead space, which could be sensed by a user of the Force. The Echani's blade whizzed over his head by inches. The Jawa suspected it might have cut through his armor if it had made contact.

Qur'tik took no chances after that. Stuffing his weapons in his belt and scooping his tools up off the ground, he slipped the tools under the folds of his armor-robe to hide them. Then, he was off on a silent sprint.

He dove behind a pile of junk about 150 meters away, and deactivated the camoflauge. He needed to conserve his armor's energy. With things going the way they were, who knew when he'd get a chance to recharge?

He took out his IWS blaster pistol and sat there with his back to his cover, hardly breathing. After waiting a minute in the hopes that he would be forgotten, he turned and peeked through a hole in the heap of garbage to see what was going on.

Now that he felt relatively safe, he was trying to think of a way to get his hands on that droid after all...

Kal turned on his toes, leaping once more aside as the blaster bolts scattered across the ground where he had once stood. One threat had been dealt with, at least temporarily, the other threat now presented itself. The firing pattern was quite simple - simple six-shot volleys from each pistol, alternating soas to keep up a cosntant rate of fire while allowing the blasters to cool in alternating stages. There were more efficient firing patterns used out there, but whatever worked...

There was a minor point in the firing pattern which presented itself as a weak point. As the Cyborg alternated between blasters, there was a minor moment where both blasters were disengaged, swapping between the firing pattern. If Kal was to strike, it would be right before that point, so the Cyborg entered that lull as the Echani attacked.

Kal waited until the perfect moment, dodging the last bolt of a single blaster fire as he rushed forward, his blade whipping around to slice through one of the blasters while his offhand rushed out to smah into the cyborg's exposed Adam's apple.

Seeing how this man is able to dodge blaster fire at an alarming rate was trouble, and when Mulluns's pistols needed to recharge, the Echane was going for a strike for his upper section. Doing what came natural, he dropped to the ground as he made a roll towards his right, aiming one pistol at his foe when he was in a crouched posistion and fored another volley of shots. He hated when the enemy wanted to go at it in close quarter combat...

He was already getting to his feet, when he noticed a small distance behind him was a Human, but his gaze never left the Echani. Must be here for the loot aswell...

One blaster bolt struck Kal in the left thigh, the other his hip, though with little more than a quiet grunt, the Echani continued fighting, whirling around to face the cyborg. A strange light glittered in his eyes for a moment, perhaps the only semblance of any humanity in the entire exchange thus far, though it was swiftly extinguished.

Rushing the cyborg once more, Kal's blade scraped along the ground behnd him before the Echani suddenly leapt into the air, the blade coming down under the white-haired warrior to strike upwards at his opponent in a vertical line from navel to nose.

As the battle commenced, Bod the Ithorian had literally flung himself out of harm's way with a strangled yelp. He scurried behind the deactivated droid, scolding himself for stopping to examine a droid. He knew he should've kept on walking. One hand was pressed against the droid, while the other clung to the vibrodagger at his belt... just incase. Just incase. He occasionally called out for the fighting to cease, and occasionally asked where everybody's social skills had disappeared off to; but, most of the time he attempted to remain inconscpicuous behind the droid.
