The Jawa talked to the Gungan even as he sprinted alongside him.

"I am Qur'tik. My ship, The Womp Rat, is close. We will boa'd my ship, and make quick flight to your sta'po't. Then you can boa'd you' own ship."

Qur'tik eyed the Gungan up and down.

"You look like a smuggla. You and I in the same business?"

As the Jawa spoke, a blaster bolt slammed into the back of his hooded head. The armor's cortosis weave protected him, but he still stumbled and nearly fell over. More bolts were whizzing by. Qur'tik sped up a little.

"Dis guy dont know when ta be quitin mesa thinkin." he said firing his own blaster several times behind him he grabbed the jawa by the scruff of his robe armor and picked him up placing him on his back he quickly sprinted down to the small landing pad it was the only place to land the jawa's ship or any other for that matter. Tossing a few sonic grenades here and there that were on a delayed timer so they could get out of the blast range as they went off to cause more disruption as the explosions went off people rushed into the street. "Now dersa more people arounden wesa gonna be okiday, nobody be gettin a shot off now."

"Mesa in da business if yousa be askin'." he said to the jawa as they turned another corner. Cirus had come to like the jawa he was a smuggler like himself and that indeed would benefit them both should they go into a partnership...assuming the jawa wouldn't kill him after he got a few contacts but after all this the gungan doubted if the jawa was that dirty.

ooc: I figure the building is big enough and strong enough that's it not going to be destroyed in one explosion from a grenade
ic: He continued to fire but he changed the target, given that the heavy blaster was very powerful, he fired at the ship itself hoping to ground them and that would probably be pretty good revenge short of killing any of them.

OOC: it was a thermal detonator it disentegrates any and all matter in a 5 meter radius meaning that if it was near a wall or a corner or if the roof was lower than 5 meters that building went down or at least enough to block passage seeing as how the room I threw it into was on the side of the alleyway we went down. I doubt that the tiny cramped rooms in the lower sector of Nar Shadaa were as big as 15 wide and 15 tall.

ooc: I was thinking of a large room like a Gymnasium sort of building which is why it wouldn't be occupied so Micke could easily be fine and still shoot at you

ooc: A gymnasium in the lower sector of a planetary city of which all the areas surrounding are abandoned because its not on a main track out of the way? come on man thats stretching it a bit. Even if it were a gymnasium I specifically put that the building collapsed and blocked the road you completely ignored that.

((Thermal detonators are much more powerful then a simple grenade, they're very powerful explosives.))

He waited for the explosives the Gungan had thrown to go off before reacing into a pouch on his sash and pulling out a small remote. He flicked a few switches and the entry door to the ship opened. Seeing that the Human was now blasting at the ship, Qur'tik also activated the ship's shields. Simple blaster bolts could do nothing to a starship's shields.

The Jawa dashed on, followed by the droid and the Gungan. He closed the door again and rushed to the cockpit. Only when he had begun lift-off did he respond to Cirus.

"We should do some jobs togetha, Cirus. You seem dependable, not to mention that you helped me before you even knew me. When two smugglas work togetha, a world's security become easy to baffle."

The Jawa's accent made some r's inpronouncable, while others (such as the one in his name) flowed easily enough.

Using his energy saber to absorb most of the blaster file while running to the ship the womp rat

''Query: why did we run from that low life unskilled warrior who primeraly relies on his so called advanced technology. A few minutes more and he would have had his head cut off and then we would have some good ornament for the ship.''

He took a seat in the cockpit next to the jawa looking around at the ship. "Mesa been thinkin the same thing." he says then he remembers the whole reason for meeting in that accursed hell hole. "And afta we make it to the starport I be needin to go smashin an ol' palo." he said darkly as he holstered his blaster. "My ship be in dah middle sect star port..." he added as an afterthought. He looked at the droid "Mui grand personality der."

After examining his surroundings a bit more he asks "What kinda ship dis bein?"

Mulluns, seeing how the Situation was getting more out of hand then even he prefered, decided that the loot was forfit and got the hell out of there as soon as almost everyone was shooting everyone. He found a rather long ladder, which was what he used to get down the pit, and climbed up as several of the blaster bolts that were fired missed barley. He considered taking the Echani's side and helping him take down the Gungan or the Jawa and his Droid, for good reasons, he decided not too.

The Echani never offered any sort of payment for helping him, and killing any of the ones he mentioned would gain little to nothing. He didnt want the Droid, as he had little use for one and didnt trust them, so he let the Jawa and his new toy go when he saw the chance. As he neared the edge, he knew that Thermal Detonator could possible go off any second, and he didnt plan on being anywhere near it when it went off. Finaly, he grabbed the edge of the pit and climbed out of it.

"Nar Shadda... nothing ever changes here..."

He spoke, heading for a nearby alley way and back towards The Deathbringer. So much for getting anything out of this job...

Qur'tik laughed at the droid's question.

"Not worth it. I need to keep you in good condition."

He then turned back to the Gungan.

"This ship is... my own design. It's got a little bit of this, little bit of that. All scavenged. I save lots of toineepa that way. Now, you pilot while I seal up our friend."

Giving the controls to Cirus, Qur'tik led the droid to a small workshop. Ordering him to lie down on a table, he began to seal up the plating.

''Statement: Yes, master.'' he said accordingly

the droid lay on the table and watched as his master started fixing the open interior of his armor. Often making remarks on how to do it more effectivly or giving suggestions on how to improve several points.

Cirus sat down in the pilots seat "well" he thought "At least the steering is normal." he took her up smoothly ascending past the lower city life and out into a spacelane heading upwards taking a few turns here and there they arived at a spacelane and he put in the password that unlocked the docking bay of the spaceport he had mentioned but his one wouldn't be on any maps it was at the back of a rather large building and looked like any other however this was where his home had been the past two months it was large enough to fit multiple ships as he brought the ship in and docked next to his own ship "Boss Bombad"

A red energy field sprang up behind them and suddenly lights flickered on and a hologram of the outside building that you could barely see through flickered over the red energy field it would seem the owner liked privacy and camo. They were in a restricted section of a cantina known as "the red dragon." it was run by a smuggler friendly twi'lek who remains anonymous but it had been his safe haven and his alone. Now it seemed he would share it with this jawa and droid for a time.

"Mesa be smilin to welcome you to The Red Dragon. Mesa be likin Yousa so thats why yu are here. Tell anyone and mesa be havin to smashin yous though." he adds the last bit as more of a warning to possible big mouths many had he heard rambling and many a secret was gained to him because of this, he wouldn't fall prey to that same folly nor would any he allowed knowledge of his home.

Qur'tik listened to APD-P21 very carefully, knowing that the droid wouldn't speak up unless it knew what it was talking about. Some droids didn't know their own parts very well, but this one seemed to be of good quality in both combat and basic functions. As he made the repairs, Qur'tik inspected the droid carefully to see just how much APD was capable of.

It seemed to have quite a lot of features. "You musta' been pricey to build," the Jawa remarked as he finished the sealing of the droid's armor. He had always been very comfortable talking to droids, perhaps moreso then he was with people. It was in his instinct, he supposed - Jawas were born to work with machines.

It took no more then a minute to reprogram the droid, making Qur'tik the permanent master. The Jawa removed the restraining bolt... then drew both of his blasters and pointed them at the droid, just in case he had forgotten something and the droid was now going to go rogue.

Nothing happened, and with a sigh of relief Qur'tik put his weapons away. "Follow," he said simply, and walked off the ship.

Outside, the Jawa looked around at the Gungan's hangar. It was very nice... A place Qur'tik could get used to. The Jawa didn't actually have a home on Nar Shaddaa, despite spending a lot of time there. Qur'tik had always been able to survive on the street.

"You have no need fo' worry, Cirus. I know the value of silence. But let's talk mo' about you and I working togetha. With base like this one, we could do some great things..."

((Shall we continue this in another thread? This one seems just about finished, its point was the droid and the droid has been secured.))
