1. What is going to happen in your plot?
A Duros Bounty Hunting family are behind on their courtesy payments to the Cartel. The Hutt have let this slide more than once, but with rumours of them running smuggling operations on the side prove too much. Besadi are sent in to set things right and prove, once again, why you don't mess with Hutts.

2. What other players will be a part of this?

3. Where are all the places (if more than one) that your plot will be taking place?
1) Nar Shaddaa - Safehouse, Streets and Spaceport. (Thread 1-3)
2) Space between Nal Hutta and Nar Shaddaa (Thread 4)
3) Nal Hutta (Thread 5)

4. Please provide a basic in-character timeline of what you expect to happen.
Thread One - The Call to Arms. The motley crew is gathered together and briefed on the situation. Drinks are shared, each gets to know one another, and the plan is hashed out.

Thread Two - The Hunt. A Slicer (@Faster Than Light) manages to locate their docking bay. The Besadi are sent out to a Cantina they are known to frequent with intentions of following them back to the Docking Bay. DM Required for the Duros.

Thread Three - Payment Due. The Besadi, with help from their Slicer, make entry into the Docking Bay. Their entrance goes unnoticed for all of about three seconds, before hell breaks loose. They have to either gun down the Duros, or cover their Slicer to get to the Docking Computer and lock their takeoff sequence. Once the Duros are made an example of, the Ship and it's contents are the Besadi's to keep.

Thread Four - After the not so subtle gunfight in the Docking Bay, the group receives word that they only killed a handful of the offending Duros Family. The Bounty Hunters are quickly gearing up and preparing their shuttles for launch from the Smugglers Moon. With no time to stop them, the group have a choice. Tail them through Space with their new-found ships and then engage them once they land, or take the fight to them in transit.

The Duros will have a pair of TR140 Light Freighters and a Nerf-herder Class Light Freighter.

(The group will take off, planning to tail the Duros Bounty Hunters to what they think is their hideout, when in fact they were on the way to a desperate attack on the Hutt Cartel Kajidic that put the bounty on them. The Duros realise they are being tailed on their way to Nal Hutta and engage. Space-battle will ensue. No matter the outcome, one of the Duros freighters will be damaged and caused to land on Nal Hutta.)

Thread Five - Chasing the stricken freighter to the swampy surface of Nal Hutta, the group have to act quick. The Hutt's like such business done far from their palaces and warehouses, and will not take kindly to a gunfight spilling into either. Faced with the final, prepared group of Duros, the group will have to dislodge them from the cover of their crashed ship and fight them to the bitter end if they want to earn their pay, and gain some favour in the eyes of the Cartel.


5. What do you or your character hope to achieve with this plot? What is the "end-game"?
A pair of Nerf-Herder Light Freighter with a five (empty) Data-Vaults.
Jack Lawson - Spoofer, five (empty) Data-Vaults.



Bounty of 20,000 Credits total for plot completion

6. Do you need any involvement of canon NPCs or faction leaders to be DMed by a staff member? If so, please detail who/what and for what purpose.
DM Required for Duros NPC's in Thread Two, Three, Four and Five.

Hello there, @TheWonderousBat!

I'll be quick, but this plot is way too short for that many rewards. Three threads for two advanced freighters and a piece of advanced technology? On top of other unnumbered generic technology and weapons? Oh, and 20,000 credits for every Duro killed?

I'm sorry, but that's a big no-no. Even with someone to DM.

I would recommend you either extend the length of this plot (nine threads at the least) or tone down the rewards. For a plot of this current size, I can only see the participants receiving one of the freighters and some generic tech.

The Frieghters are not advanced.

The plan was for 2 total for the group (One for me, one for HospitalityUnknown.)

As it stands, I'm requesting one advanced tech. The rest is gen-tech, but I will remove the 'unumbered generic technology' and just keep it to generic credit rewards.

So reviewed - Three threads as described above.
Loot - One Advanced Tech (Spoofer.)
Two non-advanced freighters total, not each. Split among whoever chooses. (Myself and HospitalityUnknown.)
20k Credits per person who kills a Duro.

My bad, then. I didn't see it in the "Generic Technology" section and assumed it wasn't. Apologies.

Now, given it's all generic technology, I would be good with this. However, it's typical for a plot to receive only one advanced piece of technology, and one alone, over the course of 2-3 threads.

Keeping that in mind, I'm still going to have to ask you up the length of this plot (to five threads) or drop some of the rewards. For instance, the ships.

Alright, so: two generic ships, some credits, data vaults and one piece of advanced tech over the span of five threads.

That still sounds like a lot of rewards to me, and after discussing with an administrator, you'll have to tone it down. Rather than 20k credits each, please switch it instead to 20k as a whole, where you can then split it among the others. You should also cut out that advanced piece of tech as well.

Two light freighters plus credits for five threads are a lot more fitting. Generic or otherwise. You can either do that, or you can switch to one advanced function per participant plus the credits. The choice is yours.

If you choose to stick with the freighters, keep in mind that they require a crew of two. But, seeing the number of participants you have, I'm sure it won't be much of an issue.

After discussing with the group, we are going to go with the two freighter option.

To recap (Mainly for my own clarity):

Five threads - Four of which require DM.
Rewards - Two Nerf-herder class Frieghters, 20k credits total and a cargo hold of Data Vaults.

Is the above acceptable, or shall I drop the Data Vaults to a few as opposed to a cargo hold? I want enough for it to symbolise the fact the Duros have been running an illegal electronic smuggling operation under the Hutt's nose, so if a cargo hold is too much I can either

A) Say that some are corrupt/broken/unusable, leaving us with only 5 Data Vaults.
or
B) Say that the Hutt want the cargo hauled over to them, as payment, leaving us with only 5 Data Vaults.

A few would definitely be preferable. A cargo hold just sounds too much, especially if it's that vague. But yes, those solutions sound solid! I'm all for it.

Just make those edits within the submission and you should have yourself an approved plot.

Updated! I stuck them down to five (empty) Data Vaults, going to go with the rest being corrupt or some such, and edited appropriate loot.

Hey there!

In my earlier post, I stated that you could receive the 20k credits, the datavaults, and the two freighters. However, you still have the advanced piece of tech (spoofer) included in the "endgame rewards."

EDIT:
After discussing with another member of staff, the piece of advanced tech you have included can remain, as well as the two ships. But again, just keep in mind about the crew requirements each ship has!

With that in mind, this plot is good to go. However, can you adjust the rewards? Because according to the threads, you seem to be stealing a different light freighter. But in the endgame rewards, you're stealing two of the same.

Or vice versa. Up to you.

I swear I edited it out, sorry about that.

The ships we will steal will be the Nerf-Herder Class Light Freighters. The other ships specified on the Thread Four write up are different ships, that we shall be facing in the battle. Essentially, the reinforcements. I hope that makes a little more sense, sorry about all this faff.
