Kriff... Tyler didn't see that Arda was being pulled in the path of the the blaster shots he fired until it was too late and the she was hit and hurt badly. Before she got hit, the blue flash of light and the distinctive sound it made was unmistakable. A blue-lightsaber blade is one of the blades of a Jedi. Could it really be? And with that use of the force towards the blue-skinned woman, she really is a Jedi? It's unprecedented. The Jedi were presumed to be dead centuries ago, but they are out there after all.

Unfortunately, with help Tyler's blaster spray, the blue blade disappeared and there was no fanfare afterwards. Not helping any matters in that making a quick glance over towards Aurora to see where everything on the battlefield is, just a quick glance nothing too distracting, or where she was supposed to be. She bolted off, extremely fast, unnaturally fast. And then Tyler noticed that it's just him against three Sith, with him in between the Sith and Aurora. Those odds are really terrible. Sure he accidentally maimed a teammate, but still... Tyler stepped off to the side with an irritated expression on his face.

Well then... He did notice that Arda's body started being pulled towards the alley way. Tyler was gritting his teeth with the rapidly changing situation as he has his eyes on the Sith.

Tyler drew his vibroweapon to his left hand, he still had his blaster pistol in hand too, facing his incoming opponent. When the masked Red Sith finishes closing the distance, or if the Red Sith does anything else, he will be ready to react. He's still going to defend, hopefully the other Sith don't chose to rush him all at once.

Varyn saw the blaster bolt tear into the woman's chest, and recognized the sound of armor rending and shredding. Unfortunately, that meant that the woman was, in fact, wearing armor that had saved her life. As she moved, Varyn moved. He didn't boost himself with the Force, but it was only a few meters so that he had a line of site into the alleyway. He was going to move on her, and cut her down, but as he did, he saw something else. The world seemed to stop around him as he saw possibilities unfold in front of him, and one of them might see the destruction of the Jedi before they even began... from the inside out.

With his saber still ready in case the other Rebel managed to miraculously get a shot off at him or the like, he reached out to the mind of the fleeing Jedi.

The Sith - even for being raised a Sith - had always been wary of the Dark Side. He didn't trust it despite its ever growing seed in his mind. It had almost gone unnoticed for a time as it began to spread its roots and flourish, but now he felt that same darkness at the center of the woman who had only moment's ago been Light. People often said that the darkness couldn't defeat the Light, but black holes were such that even light was trapped and unable to escape. That was what Varyn saw within her.

Tethers of Varyn's mind immediately lashed out at her, clawing at the darkness that was beginning to grow even as she stood there. With the split already forming in her soul, she would find it all but impossible to resist his assault. It would feel like she was being smothered with all the things she was most terrified of, but then just past the surface there was a familiarity. A liberating feeling that was completely enticing. It was passion, it was lust, it was greed, it was jealousy... it was all the things the Jedi were forbidden, and it was its own sense of peace and liberation. Liberation from responsibility or regret.

It's okay, the voice began to reassure her. Even the Force doesn't save everyone. Life and death, they're all part of the Force. Only the strongest can survive. There is no death, there is the Force, it told her. Not only would she "hear" the voice in her mind, she would feelit. As a Jedi she had learned that everything was a part of the Force: life and death that feeds new life. She would feel that the death of her Padawan was natural and right. The power of this feeling extended from far beyond what Varyn could conjure, and came from within herself, and the voice was not his own. It was something far more sinister, but far more inviting.

Let her go. You have to preserve the Jedi, it told her. It was logical, and it was true, but even in the statement it had planted its seeds: a creeping shadow that she would never be able to rid herself of: not all life was important. It could be sacrificed to save oneself. It would mark her among her fellow Jedi in an instant, and they would know. They wouldn't know what it was, but they would know there was something.

The entire interaction was mere fractions of a second in the real world, but its impact would be longstanding, and would interrupt any concentration she had to pull her pupil. The Force hated to respond to those of split mind, and the darkness was enough to nearly shatter her consciousness.

TL;DR because this is still PvP: Varyn is prepared to defend himself if he's attacked but leaving mad Dark shadows and temptation on Aurora and prevent her from pulling Arda @Valen Pelora @GABA @Faster Than Light @Sreeya @Orbit

Tasha could only chuckle to herself as the ‘Jedi’ seemingly abandoned the younger woman and man to their fates. Was this how they were supposed to act? She could only stare with curiosity as the woman ran like a rat, withdrawing away into the alley. Tasha coiled the Force around the unconscious girl, yanking her back towards herself and breaking any connection the other woman had. By now, the woman had disappeared, and she was curious on why the Sith had let her go.

She could sense darkness pooling from the woman as she ran, and it meant that a part of it was now festering within her. Did she truly escape her fate? Or had the Sith just created another to join their order? Tasha tossed her hair over her shoulders and laughed, “That woman would do well in the Sith with the blatant disregard she showed for her allies,” She turned to look at the man still remaining, foolishly holding onto his gun.

“Do what you will,” She called out to Zul, using the Force to lift the female Jedi up and walking backwards. She would disappear from sight with their new prize. She knew their Emperor would be more than thrilled at having a captured Jedi.

Zul stared straight ahead into Tyler, the black holes of the mask that were his eyes boring right into the man. Both of the Rebel's Jedi friends had abandoned him, the one fleeing down the alley and abandoning the rest while the one Tyler shot was picked up by Tasha and walked away with her. Zul stood between Tyler and Tasha the entire time, ready to react if he tried to intervene and save his friend. The Sith would stand there patiently until Tasha finally left with their prize, the only sound the burning plasma of his crimson blades.

When Tasha told him to do what he willed, Zul tilting his head toward her direction before snarling softly as he redirected his gaze back to Tyler. Suddenly Zul would have the force wrap around the Rebel's blaster, ripping it from his grasp suddenly before flinging it across the street. Despite doing this, Zul remained standing where he was before slowly lifting his right saber and aiming it directly at Tyler's chest. "This is your one chance I will be lenient." The Sith took one step closer to Tyler, "Run." Zul really didn't prefer to fight and he yet has swung his blade except for defense in this and he wanted to keep it that way. They already had the young girl and the other fleeing, already tainted with the Dark Side. It would torture that woman to her core and the Pureblood wondered how she would fare.

Zul left it up to the Rebel in front of him, standing there calmly while waiting for the man's answer. If he still chose to fight, Zul would be ready, his grip on his blades tightening as the force started to be built around him. While he chose not to fight at the moment, if the Rebel wanted to continue then Zul believed he could end it swiftly if need be.

And it was about to come, the tension was in the air still, Tyler was ready for strikes and blows to be exchanged between him and the masked Sith. But that's not what happened... instead after hearing the words of the Patoran Sith before she used the force to tak Arda. Suddenly Tyler had his blaster weapon pulled from his hands and then tossed away courtesy of the Pureblood.

Tyler then heard the Sith man speak. 'Run' was what he was strongly advised to do, and had only one chance. The Sith could have attacked Tyler, but didn't. It was strange for a Sith he thought, but he also thought he shouldn't argue about it more pursue a fight with these conditions that is going to do absolutely going to get him killed. This mission is a failure, Aurora is out of here, Arda is taken. It's best to take this chance to get the kriff out of here while he still can. Tyler felt bad for Arda. Not only did his shots badly wound her, but now she is taken by the Sith and he couldn't imagine what she has coming for her in Sith custody due to her being one of the first Jedi sightings in centuries.

Knowing when to fold his cards, a reluctant Tyler tensely gritting his teeth, turned around ran through the nearest accessible alley way as he took taking the Sith's advice. With how fast Aurora fled the scene, she is probably already on a ship in flight off this moon by now.... Regardless he's going to have to find his own way off this planet and make sure he's not being followed.

And he still has to make a full report about this mess of a mission once he's out of here. How to even begin with that... Maybe he should have just took his chances against the Sith, at least he wouldn't have to worry about that.

Aurora turned her back and she was gone.

She had not even looked Arda in the eye, she didn't say a word or tried to help her in the very least, she left her on the duracrete like the street scum she had scooped up on Corellia. Arda relaxed her grip on her blaster, she felt sick and the world falling silent around her as she felt herself floating on the surreal of the reality that was building around her. She didn't want to accept that this was happening, but her street rat attitude chimed in, reminding her the nature of people and their desire for their own survival. She should have never had trusted the woman, it was all truly too good: a special ability, to live a life with greater meaning, to instill hope...these were all things Arda dreamed about but never thought a reality of it.

It was a fool's dream and she was a fool for following and perhaps Master Aurora eventually saw that, perhaps this was what her fate must have been today in order to resolve it. She was not strong enough for the order or for the Rebellion and perhaps this was best, she would at least see her family soon.

Exhaustion overtook the girl's body and she fell into unconsciousness, the doubt and betrayal remained, haunting deeply in her thoughts without her awareness until she was reminded of it again the next time she wakes.
