Raindrops fell, the same as the day before. Showering like a piece of music, following the conductor's beat; mother nature. A Grey fog settled along the cement sidewalk, down into the cracks. Whirling around Delvon's feet, chilling his toes. He stepped out of a limousine. It had been parked just outside of the Godeweyn's estate after coming back from a second party for Evelyn's 24th birthday. Gripping his left hand tightly, a handle of a umbrella quickly reminded Delvon he was holding something. His right hand came down to the handle at the same time his left came up to open it. It popped open, building a shield to the droplets. They bounced off the sides, causing a tapping noise, adding onto the the soothing sounds of the outdoors. Delvon held the umbrella over the top of the limousine's door way where Evelyn would exist, ignoring himself. His dark brown hair and tailored black mens suit already soaking, sending heat from his body out in clear steam around him. The long standing lights in the courtyard casting a stream of light over him, causing him to glow in his loss.
Delvon's crystal blue eyes flashed around the area to scan for any threats. Two bulky looking men walked outside from the giant conjoined doorways of the mansion, pistols strapped to their sides, marching together towards the limousine. Their size twice that of Delvon - more body guards, but not like Delvon; he was more friend, or family, depending on ones point of view. Delvon liked to think of himself as simply a employee but knew he was far from that. Things could never be so simple, not in this life style, or any. At lest he liked to believe this, knowing nothing of poverty or the life styles of the less fortunate besides the small glimpses he had of the people who worked for him - worked for 'Evelyn' that is.
The black pot of mixing shades in the sky roared, then a bolt of thunder broke out. Sending a demon claw like shape across the sky. It caused Delvon's pupils to widen and his lips to pull down into a frown. Stressing him from the sudden lash, but it was not unexpected, so he stood still, waiting for Evelyn to join his side.
