Location: Drommand Kaas, Kaas City, The Majesty, Imperial Cuisine Restaurant

Kalanda felt more comfortable with this location for some reason. Maybe it was just the nature of being in Kaas City, or perhaps there was something in the air, but she was actually looking forward to this date; far more than the last one, that was certain. She had worn that same dress from that night on Cuiperman, so she hoped that would be okay with him; honestly she had no sense of dress style, what else was she supposed to wear? She would wait for him out on the balcony, staring up at the faded gem that was once a place of power. The atmosphere in the Empire had changed. There was a reluctance, maybe even an apathy moving through the city. Or maybe it was just her imagination. One good thing about meeting with Jay though, was he didn't have the clout that so many others had. Markov for example, was high off his own small ego, and she was still confused as to why he was made a Sith Lord; probably would have been better if he went into politics.

No weapons, no mission, just two people trying to get in each others heads. Oddly he was the only one that had taken an intrest in her of all the others she had encountered, so...who knows maybe this was going somewhere. She looked for the large clock on display behind her, and once again she had shown up far too early. She sighed quietly to herself, before turning back to the building, her ears faintly hearing the fall of rain onto the glass awning above her. Her mind had been rather dark as of late. Her master was wounded, Eithni well....what was there to say about Eithni, and Amur was recovering from their most recent battle. It felt like things were just falling apart right now. She needed a night like this to just put that stuff out of mind, yes, tonight was going to be a good night....for once

The wet streets of the Sith's Order's capital knew a lot of stories, many different ones. Rivals, friends, lovers, they all appeared in the safest place of the lonely reals. Since the new Emperor returned all the planets, old enemies appeared, seeking revenge for the years of torture. They covered these events all over the news. The citadel was noisier than usual. There was something in the air.

Jayscreec took a deep breath, inhaled the jungle's fresh, wet, clean oxygen. Dromund Kaas came like a good shower after all those dirty planets like Nar Shaddaa, where you couldn't exist without a rebreather for ten minutes. The speeder's pilot that took him from the spaceport received a good tip for his efforts. Not that Jay was rich, but even if just for a moment, this made him feel like he was. His boots and clothes remained dry as he went underneath the building towards the restaurant to meet his date. Kalanda showed herself pretty interesting before, somewhat different than other Sith, but also different than other humans. Jay thought she had probably as much as experience as he, if not more. Maybe she was special, only one way to find out.

Being lost in thoughts, Jay didn't notice the amount of alien species growth. Few weeks ago one could only see humans, maximum one or two attractive Twi'Leks dancing, also wearing a shock-collar. The tension people felt due the alien ruler increased also from the new Republic that their enemies formed. Everything was changing. The galaxy was about to step in a new era, and that new era will call the war machine's men like Jay criminals.

To finally relax a little this date sounded great. When Jay asked out Kalanda he didn't expect she'd say yes, but here they are. He noticed her standing outside.
"Hey, good evening!" He said cheerfully. "I remember this dress, you're looking good. How was your trip, managed to get here in one piece?" All the stress just faded. He didn't care if he was saying right or wrong things, just gave himself.

As Jay stepped into the restaurant he immediately looked around and already identified with the place. It vibrated from life. Folks enjoyed their time, ate, drank, hung out. The waiter seemed like a nice dude, he approached the duo and introduced himself.
"I shall be your service tonight. Allow me to lead to your table and get your orders." The smile never faded from his face. Obviously, it was his job, yet it seemed genuine. "Sure," Jay agreed.

The waiter presented two holopads that showed various selection of their cuisine.
"While you choose, would you like something to drink?" He asked. Jay nodded his head and looked at Kalanda, letting her speak first. "I'm an Outer Rim guy," he said. "Can I have some Jawa Juice?" The server ran off to get their drinks.

"Have you been here before? This restaurant is great," Jay said. "Did you use your powers or am I just having a good time?"

Kalanda was stirred from her brooding by a familiar voice, as she turned her head to find Jay approaching. She forced a smile to her face, not that she wasn't glad he had arrived, but her mood had been running afoul as if late. All the more reason she needed this. "Evening officer. Looking quite fetching today, aren't we?" She complimented, making a motion to meet him midway. A small bit of genuine appreciation showed itself, as she could already feel her mood starting to shift for the better. "Oh Jay, darling, this old thing? You're too kind." She was going to at least try to enjoy herself this time, but this was already off to a better start than Markov. Jay's chipper attitude was already elevating her dejected mood, which meant he had a free pass to as many blunders as he wished to make; to Kalanda it was a small price to pay. "Oh just as luxurious as ever. Imperial shuttles never cease to disappoint." Which was the damn truth, when were they going to get some new seats? Probably not anytime soon since they had just lost most of their manufacturing power recently.

Accompanying her date into the establishment, the atmosphere inside would have made one question if the Empire was doomed or not. Their waiter was an unusual man though, as Kalanda couldn't recall seeing a restaurant working look so....happy. Maybe he was just having a really good day. She said nothing of the man though, electing to be escorted to the table with her date close at hand. Taking a seat, Kalanda waited for Jay to place his order, then decided she might as well try the same drink as him. She needed to branch out her tastes after all. "I'll have the same as him." She replied, giving the waiter a mere moment of her time before looking back to the officer before her, taking a chance to answer his questions. "Actually, I never have. I've rarely frequented this planet to be honest. But I'll take your word on it." She only gave a small shake of her head to his last sentence. "You'll be surprised to know I'm holding no influence over you at the moment. But that can change if you desire it." She gave him a wicked grin, curious how he would take her words. It might have been a little too forward, but what did she care? This was a night to have fun.

Clearly, the server was high on some kind of spice. But what would that matter, if he got the job done and even provided excellent service? Jay did not despise drugs, in fact he used spice when he was way younger. Since he was drafted into the military he stopped.

"Dromund Kaas? Well, I've been here. Back then the Empire arrested me and allowed me to serve my time in the Navy. So I got to see the galaxy, more than enough," Jay chuckled. "Depends, what kind of influence we're talking about." He smirked back.

"Your juices," the waiter presented two exotic drinks. "Thanks." Jay leaned over to the waiter and whispered something in private. The waiter nodded his head, cracked a smile and left to play the music request.

"So, have you got any tattoos?"

"Well, wouldn't you like to know dear." Kalanda grinned, eyeing the agent as she was a bit amused about this whole affair. Taking the drink from the server, Kalanda gave a small smile to the man, before facing Jay. She wasn't sure what he had said, she wasn't trying to sense what was going on between him and the waiter. "Tattoos? No, only a few minor scars. Never took to the ink on skin approach, though that could change. What about you Jay?" She redirected the question, taking a sip from her glass. Jawa Juice was an odd taste, better than whatever bubbly stuff Markov had given her. "I know some men have a thing for women with tattoos." She mused, curious if Jay had thought she had such things on her body. She wouldn't admit it, but she did enjoy the attention she garnered from time to time.

"I am curious what drove you to ask me on this occasion. Typically Sith are considered too intimidating for that sort of thing. So, props to you for being so upfront about this."
She smiled at him, leaning a tad forward across the table. Her ears perked up as she detected a pause in the music array, but she would have to wait and see what would unfold from that.

Of course Jay wanted to know what Kalanda had on her body, probably what she had under her robes interested him much more than many otherwise important things nowadays. "I want to get a tattoo, but don't have one now. Scars? I am full of scars. Once I killed a Jedi while someone lit me up pretty bad with a blaster," Jay smirked, clearly delighted with himself. But he didn't intend to come off conceited. "I had a rough time recovering from that, maybe the trophy worth it."

The waitress got the local band playing some sort of upbeat music and brought the duo more drinks. When he arrived he also put some snacks on the table.
"On the house, hope you're enjoying your night," he said, smiling from ear to ear.
"Sure we do," Jay replied. "Thanks."

"I guess I'm just curious about you Kalanda, but no, you're not intimidating me. I'm sure I would know if you wanted to intim date-- I mean--" He chuckled. "Intimidate."
