Location: Mustafar

After spending force knows how long learning about nonsensical alchemy and actual science, the old man before them finally had them stop reciting the nonsensical formulas and what not that were so critical to Sith Alchemy; yet Kalanda never heard Mid make a mention of it, so she was pretty sure the old man was full of crap. Alch-Smith stood before the two women, his face twitched in the slightest evidence of a smile at the two women he mentored. "Ah, good, I think that just about covers the basics. Now, before we get down to showing you real alchemy...I need something from you two." He started, turning around and grabbing up a large collection of diagrams and putting them on the table. From where Kalanda stood, she could tell there were sketched of some of the wild life of Mustafar, yet Alch-Smith was digging through them, trying to find one thing in particular.

Kalanda looked to her friend, Eithni, wanting to see how the girl had been handling the brief lessons they were given, as Kalanda felt as if her head was to implode; she could only imagine how torturous this had to be for Eithni. "Oh, yes, here it is. Darkghasts...fascinating specimen." The man cackled, before rotating the papers for the two women to see. Kalanda was rather off put by the image as it looked like a thinner four arm Rancor. "Yes, this is all rather interesting, but what of it?" She asked, not understanding what any of it had to do with Alchemy. "Oh, well I want you to bring one to me!" He stated, sounding rather excited for the first time since they had met the old man. Kalanda recoiled at that, disliking the idea initially. "And fortunately we have a local one that was spotted not that long ago! So it shouldn't be too hard for you ladies." He stated, turning away from the women, letting them gaze at the art for a good bit. "Right, and what happens when we bring this back?" Kalanda asked, with a rather unpleasant scowl on her face, as she was certain what was to come. "Oh, then I'll show you actual Sith Alchemy, of course. That stuff just prior wasn't Sith Alchemy, just basic chemistry. You just saw the basics after all." Kalanda closed her eyes, stifling a groan as she looked to Eithni. She guessed they had no choice but to accept.

Eithni followed the explanations and showing formulas and other rather boring stuff. If that was Sith Alchemy, was it not what Eithni had expected it to be, hell Nightsister rituals at least let her use her magick. However, she was a stubborn girl and powered through the lessons from this nutcase of an alchemist. Though her boredom completely vanished when the mention of a creature and Kalanda would see how the excitement just grew on her. Eithni grabbed the paper and looked it over, "by the Fanged God this looks awesome! Ihhhhh!" squealed Eithni giddily and the mention of getting to learn to real Alchemy after getting the beast had sold it for the Nightsister.

Dropping the paper on the ground, she grabbed Kalanda's hands and did a little bounce in front of her, "aaaaa come no time to lose!" Squealed Eithni yet again and dashed out of the room, pulling Kalanda with her. But when they got out of the room, stopped the overexcited girl abruptly. "Wait!" outbursted Eithni and popped her head inside the room again, "where exactly was the beast seen?" Asked the witch with a loud tone, giving Alch-Smith a shock and making him drop a vial. Kalanda could hear the alchemist curse over the dropped vial and then the location of the beast and something else about Eithni, however, she never heard it clearly as Eithni had already pulled her away.

Dashing hand-in-hand with Kalanda through the entire station, they weaved and dodge multiple people, making quite the ruckus as a lot of people out of shock making them drop what they were holding. "SORRY!" Yelled Eithni innocently sweet back to all the people yelling at the two girls.

Within a few minutes, they ran out of the station and stood at the entrance. Still holding on the Kalanda, not because she was scared to lose her friend, but because she sort of just forgot about it. "Okay okay! What way was it again? Oh right!" Outbursted the little Dathomirian girl overexcited as she looked around the area until her eyes landed the direction they would need to go. "That way!" Cheered full of energy and way too enthusiastic about finding an enormous beast on a lava-filled planet.

Kalanda was yet again pulled along with her younger and shorter companion, a step closer to learn the secrets of Sith Alchemy.

Kalanda had initially planned to question the old man some more about the beast, wanting to know it's strengths, weaknesses, you know...stuff that can be useful if you're going to fight and kill it. Of course, this was just an inital plan, and as with most things involving Eithni it didn't go as planned. Before Kalanda knew it, her hand was seized by Eithni, as she was pulled away to parts unknown by the girl and her supernatural energy. Kalanda struggled to stifle her cackling, as she hardly could keep up with the girl, being whipped and pulled about the facility. Several researchers and Imperial soldiers were nearly taken out by the girl and the companion she towed along with her, but through it all they managed to not destroy the facility or kill any of the workers; though they might have made an enemy of the old man, but Kalanda thought it was funny so he didn't count. As chaotic as this was, Kalanda found a certain delight in the disruption that Eithni was causing, the girl just seemed to sap all the negativity in the room away.

Reaching outside, the Acolyte has half out of breath, as she had to try and keep up with Eithni for most if her run, a near impossible feat for many; though if she hadn't been holding the girls hand she never would have had a chance. "Eithni, Eithni dear-" Kalanda tried to calm the girl down, but it was largely ignored, as Eithni nearly yanked Kalanda's shoulder out of the socket as she found the way to go. Kalanda briefly wondered why she let the girl get away with doing this to her, and she frankly didn't know. Things the girl did just didn't bother her, though she knew not why. Kalanda couldn't put her finger on it, only concluding that she did in fact like the girl; despite how much she attested to her antics at times, she had grown rather fond of them.

Being pulled across the lava blasted landscape, one would hardly think this place would be the site of an fun filled adventure, and yet here they were doing just that; well at least one of them was. Kalanda finally had a moment to catch her breath as they would come to stop at a cliff overlooking a lake of lava. Small sections of rock dotted the lake, showing a path on the other side. It would seem that there would be a path a skilled force user could take if they carefully leaped from rock to rock. Kalanda looked over the landscape and sighed, knowing what was to ensue. "I'll be frank, I'm not looking forward to this. At all." Kalanda commented, her hand still locked with Eithni's, it hadn't even entered her mind to let go. "Though I know you won't let this stop you. So, lead on my friend." Kalanda gestured forward with her free hand, thinking back to how jumping over a ravine back on Drathomar was far more preferable than this.

Running barefooted across the blackened surface of Mustafar would most likely have made anyone refuse walking barefooted around on a lava planet. But not Eithni no, with a few clothes around her feet, she basically ran barefooted on the hardened lava rocks. She didn't show any sign of being in any kind of discontent about it as she dashed over the landscape with not a care in the world. Kneeling down into squatting position, the witch rested her lower arms on her knees, looking over the area and lava lake.

"Common Kala, where's your sense of adventure? It looks fun!" replied the witch to her Sith companion with an excited tone and looked up at Kalanda. Eithni got up again and jumped off the cliff, flaring up her magick just close enough to slow her fall in order to land safely. Kalanda would by now know how much Eithni loved free falling and just before it would get critical, use her magick to slow her fall to land safely. Looking back up at Kalanda, waved Eithni to her friend, "come on slowpoke!" called the giddy witch and turned around and headed barefooted to the lake of lava.

She jumped and flared up her magick yet again and gracefully jumped from rock to rock before she landed on the other side, turning around to look for Kalanda. However far Kalanda was following her, turned Eithni around to figure out where the directions wanted them again.

"Hm~ that way? No, that spike doesn't match the description the old man said" said Eithni as she started to talk to herself while waiting for her friend. When Kalanda would get over the lake and join Eithni on the other bank, turned Eithni and gave the Sith a wide smile. "This way" explained the Nightsister and together with Kalanda they made their way over to what ended up being an enormous mountain-chain. A very large cave was very eye-catching as it something had dug it to a cave.

"It matches Alch-Smith's description. ihhh, aren't you excited to meet something bigger than a Rancor?! I'm excited! Do you think it eats small or large preys? No that's silly, it eats the larger animals, which is weird 'cause we haven't seen anyone... Uhhhh! Maybe it got cubs! We could take one and domesticate one for you!" Rambled Eithni onward to herself, sometimes pulling Kalanda into the rapid conversation Eithni had with herself. All while rambling she had moved towards the large cave entrance, big enough for a Darkghasts or a creature like in size. Either way, Eithni was overexcited nonetheless as the chance to meet something bigger than the Rancors on Dathomir was ones in a lifetime!

Kala? Kalanda snickered and looked away, a small bit of redness coming to her face at the new name given to her. This girl was finding more and more ways to break past her shell, and Kalanda wasn't sure how to feel about that. Though as she turned her attention towards the landscape before them, and Kalanda certainly knew how to feel about that. Sense of adventure indeed. Kalanda then realized that her witch friend was barefoot, and had to wonder how the hell the girl was able to walk on this surface. "I believe you and I have vastly different ideas on what 'fun' is, dear." Kalanda commented, only to see the girl drop over the ledge and tip toe towards the lava lake. Where this lack of fear came from, Kalanda could only guess, as she soon followed behind the girl, grumbling at being called a slowpoke yet again.

Kalanda got into step, moving to keep the pace with Eithni, as they would being the galaxy's most dangerous game of hopscotch. The heat sweltered around Kalanda, as she leapt from rock to rock, barely able to tolerate the extreme heat in the process; made her wonder how Eithni's poor feet were holding up. Compared to Dathomir, this was childs play by comparison. Perhaps to the witches surprise, her black clad companion wasn't too far behind, having come to grips with her fear of death defying jumps, though her clothing was a tad scorched, Kalanda seemed less displeased than usual; which given the current state of affairs might as well had been a miracle. "Were you even paying attention to what that old fool said?" She did have to wonder if Eithni even heard the man's directions, because Kalanda most certainly had not. There wasn't a real concern of getting lost, after all, they could almost certainly find their way back with the Nightsister magicks at their fingers; Eithni was one of the sisters after all. Sure enough, whatever compass Eithni was working with lead the girl onwards; though where on wards was, was anyone's guess.

The site that the pair were soon to come upon was rather intimidating to gaze upon from the outside prospective. The jagged tops of the mountains, against the black and fiery backdrop didn't exactly inspire confidence in the onlookers, though the large indenture resting at the peak of one of the smaller hills was cause for concern. Of course, Eithni would be anything but terrified of the creature, one would think she was getting a new pet based on how she acted. Kalanda gazed down to the girl with a skeptic glance, she did know they had to kill it right? "I'm just fine without a pet thank you. I can hardly handle being in the same room with Alpie, so I think I can hold off on anything carnivorous and large for the time being." Kalanda was rather against the idea of pets, especially ones that could grow up to kill you. "Whatever it is, it shouldn't be too difficult for us to handle." Kalanda affirmed, as she stepped behind Eithni and tickled the girls sides, aiming to snap her back to reality; she had been waiting a while to get back at her after all. "So long as we stay focused on the task at hand." She grinned, enjoying the small victory she had secured over the girl, though it was only a small comfort in the wake of what they were about to do. Soon they would be walking into that cave, and hauling the beast' corpse out of there. They had done this to a Rancor before, how much worse could this thing be? As the pair would soon find out, it could be much, much worse.

Damn her and her knowledge of the spot where she was ticklish! Eithni shrieked with a high pitch and jumped a few inches from the ground from being poked by the fingers of death, by Kalanda. Eithni retreated a few steps away, holding around herself as protection from her mean friend's attack, giving her a glare or at least tried. People seemed to find her oh so adorable or cute when she sent death glares at people. Well, at least she always could use her magick, as that seemed to scare most people.

Eithni poked her tongue out at Kalanda, but only for a moment, but stopped and turned around to face the large cave entrance as growling came at them. First, the long-fingered clawed hand was visible, placing on the side of the entrance. Then the head, which the body followed after, exiting the cave. The beast was enormous, and four arms, just like in the picture, ihhh this was going to be so much fun!

Eithni turned to look at Kalanda in almost slow-motion movement as her face lit up with such excitement, almost bouncing on the spot, pointing at the Darkghast that had just exited the cave. "Ihhh! Look, Kala! The Darkghast!" Cheered Eithni just a bit too loudly as the Darkghast turned its attention towards the overexcited Dathomirian and the Sith who wanted to get on with the hunt for it.

The Nightsister drew her bow and grinned as she felt the excitement grow tenfold when the Darkghast released a thundering roar. The hunt was all fun and games, but it was the battle with a great beast, that was the best and it really got her blood pumping. Firing at the now charging Darkghast, hitting the beast with 5 paralysing arrows at its legs in rapid speed while jumping out of the way from the beast.

Eithni had always been a fast and nimble little girl and she used it all the time against larger and bulkier targets. This was no different as she kept on dodging and avoiding the Darkghast bone-crushing attacks. Luckily for both girls, while it could take large steps, it wasn't the fastest beast, however, every hit was among power to crush the rocky ground and surroundings.

"Isn't this fun Kala?! Ahhhh, I'm having so much fun!" Asked Eithni with a yell as they ended up on each side of the Darkhagst. Eithni fired another couple arrows in insanely rapid shooting, at the legs of the great beast of Mustafar. While it had no imminent effect on the Darkhagst, it would be long, before the paralysing would take effect and cause the beast to crumble and unable to use its legs.

Kalanda grinned in fiendish delight at the suffering she brought the younger girl. Oh, revenge was just so sweet. She cackled at Eithni's attempted glare, knowing the girl wouldn't take the attack lightly. They were still friends, if anything Eithni would be plotting to get back at her. "Now, we're even." Kalanda commented, waiting for her friend to move forward, wearing a not so innocent smile as she did so. Unfortunately, the pair's antics were disrupted by the roar of the monster. Kalanda turned her head towards the noise, seeing the stretched claws of the beast gripping the edges of it's lair, as it began to pull itself out to face the pair. Kalanda froze for a moment, gazing at the beast with a look of utmost horror.

Yea, this was most certainly not going to be fun, and much worse than that Rancor she had taken on. "Yes dear, I see it." She muttered, looking to Eithni for support, Kalanda only found the girl to be exuberant about the prospect of fighting this beast. What did they give this girl on Dathomir? The beast clearly took notice of Eithni's excitement, as it began to move towards them. Drawing her lightsaber, and pulling forth a large chunk of volcanic rock, Kalanda moved into action.

Taking the rock, Kalanda tossed the rock towards the beast, as a combination of her attack and Eithni's, the beast would be staggered and slow. One of it's four arms lashed out to Kalanda, who leapt out of the way just in time; to be pelted by a shower of rather hot rocks. Wincing, Kalanda found herself still under attack by another hand from the beast, as she lashed out with the lightsaber, cutting off one of its fingers, but was still struck backwards by it's newly made stump. Being knocked back, Kalanda hit and skid across the ground, as her robes began to smolder and smoke. She swiftly rose, throwing the robes down, as she felt her ribs ache. Of course, Eithni was having the time of her life. "Oh...yes...I'm just teeming with excitement." She wasn't having fun, in case it wasn't obvious. Eithni and Kalanda now flanked the large beast, as Kalanda could see that the beast was having trouble deciding on which of them to target. Gripping her fists, lightning cackled at her finger tips, as Kalanda began to channel lightning into her being, ready to unleash it towards the beast. If Eithni joined in the attack, the lightning would be enough to stagger the beast, but if not....well Kalanda would be willing to be the target if it kept Eithni safe from harm.

The Darkghast seemed unsure which one of the tiny creatures it wanted to go after as she took just a bit too long to decide. That extra minute of decision gave both girls enough time to go for an attack. Eithni got in an instant, what she wanted to do and flared her magick up, placed her bow on her lower back and charged the Darkghast with lightning of her own.

Green electricity fill the air as Eithni charged the great beast, levitating into the air, dodging the Darkghast's sweeping attack and launched a powerful force of green lightning right into the face of the beast. If Kalanda's lightning also found its mark, would the sheer force of power enough to stagger the beast and make it crumble under its own weight, thanks to its weaken legs from Eithni's arrows.

The great beast landed with a loud crash and tried to get up, but the stagger was too much and it with a quick-thinking, shot Eithni a couple more arrows at its head. The paralysing arrows were enough to completely remove any kind of threat it could provide. Eithni landed in front of the Darkghast and smiled triumphantly and giddily hugged Kalanda, "ihhh we took down a Darkghast Kala! Can't wait to tell mom!" Expressed the young witch with just a joyful pride as she continued to hug the Sith girl for another couple of minutes while jumping a bit on the stop.

As she let go of Kalanda, she turned towards the great beast and with her vibroblade in her hand, she walked over to the side of the throat and just slammed the blade deep into the flesh of the beast. Not only splashed blood in Eithni face but blood was now pouring out of the deep wound that Eithni just made. Taking a step back she looked to Kalanda with an innocently sweet smile, "there, now it's going to bleed to death, so we just need to wait for a bit, before the Darkghast dies" explained Eithni and skipped back to Kalanda and sat down, still with thick lanes of blood from the Darkghast's wound, running down her face.

Eithni didn't even seem like she noticed or cared as she sat down on a small rock and looked at the paralysed Darkghast bleeding to death while still being alive but unable to even show any kind of pain. Basically torturing the animal for a good half an hour until the paralysing effect had stopped, but the beast laid motionless on the rocky surface.
"There, now we just gotta get it back!" Commented Eithni with a sweet smile.

With the power of the two women, they managed to subdue the beast, as the combined lightning tore into it, causing it's weakened leg muscles to give out from under it. Kalanda was about to stab the beast through the chest with a stalagmite she had found from one of the hills, but Eithni cut that plan short from the death grip she put on the woman, prompting a blush from the Sith. "I'm sure she'll love to hear about how I almost got you killed again. I can hardly wait." She lamented seeing the mother again, knowing the mother hated her, though did the mother like anyone for that matter? Probably not. Though she was getting a hug for Eithni, so it worked out. Of course, as the hug and jumping went on, Kalanda felt the tingling sensation once more, and knew it was Eithni's fault; it always happened around this girl, what the devil was she doing to her? Eithni then let go, running back to the beast, and to Kalanda's surprise, slit it's throat. The creature let out a cough and rumble, as blood began to pulse from it's wounded neck, making a gory shower around the area as it began it's death throes. As Eithni looked back to the acolyte, Kalanda merely nodded in approval, this girl was brutal; she forgot just how harsh the little witch could be at times. "Right, well, I think we can find time for that." It was a tad disturbing watching the beast slowly die, but Kalanda was much happier that it was the creature, and not them.

She joined her companion on the rock, just in time to see her robes ignite. Now she'd have to order another pair. Wonderful. Again, that damn feeling crept up, as she touched her shoulder against Eithni, casting a curious glance at the girl; was this another one of her tricks? Kalanda wouldn't get to find out, as after several moments of nothing suspicious, it seemed the beast had been bleed dry. Though Eithni's remarked scared the daylights out of the Sith, prompting her to jump a good inch upwards. "Right, right. Well, let's not be tardy." She commented, trying to see how they were going to haul the monster back, as the danger had clearly passed. "Any ideas on how to do this dearie? It's a tad bigger than your pet back home." Being with Eithni always had a way to put Kalanda at ease, it was like they weren't on a volcanic death world at all!

Eithni looked at Kalanda first a bit perplexed, but then she realized her friend meant her matriarch mom, "oh~ No I mean my mother! Skuld Stark!" explained Eithni with a sweet smile. I might be a bit confusing for others as she technically had two different mothers to at all related or had even met before. Eithni didn't even notice Kalanda's reactions or how she felt as she just enjoyed sitting together with her bestie and look at their kill.

Jumping off the rock and stretched a bit, she looked from Kalanda to the fallen beast, "good point... might have been easier to draw it back to the base... oh well, woopies!" shrug the Nightsister cheerfully and kneeled down in front of its face. "Maybe if we carried it? Like with your powers and my magick!" suggested Eithni like she just had gotten a brilliant idea.

"Or we could always go back and tell the old man that it's dead and he can go get it himself... But I don't wanna be forced to go back again if he doesn't agree with getting it..." stated Eithni and could just imagine them getting all the way back, just to be told that if they wanted to learn Sith Alchemy, they better go back and get it. So Eithni was ready to convince her bestie in the whole universe, that they had to do it her way!

And how would she do that? Well, by skipping over to the Sith girl, grab her hands in her own, swinging their arms from side to side, "Bestie! Let's try and lift it with your powers and my magick! We can like team-work and it would like be super fun!" Explained Eithni with the biggest, most sweetest smile Kalanda had ever seen.

It took a moment for Kalanda to realize that Eithni was referring to another woman, but once she understood this was a different woman entirely, she merely nodded. Clearly she'd have to meet this woman at another time. What she didn't understand, was these odd feelings she was having around Eithni, especially given the girl didn't have that green fog going about. She just felt happy, and not that fake happy, but that sort of happy that things were going to be alright. She couldn't figure out how to describe it, other that she both hated it, and liked it.

She wasn't too quick to get to her feet, not like Eithni, as she watched the girl try and troubleshoot the dilemma facing them. Though the idea that the pair were going to haul the creature back with their strength alone was frankly silly. "Dear, I admit your resilience, but I don't think the two of us could drag the beast back." Kalanda hated to crush the girls optimism, but there were some facts that Eithni needed to face. She got a tad nervous though, as she saw Eithni kneeling close to the beasts face. Yes it was dead, but still, something inside of her just felt anxious. Ethni suggested they work together and move the beast, which...could be possible, though it was going to take some real work to do. They struggled with the Rancor cub, how in the world were they going to move this? Though when Eithni brought up the idea of just leaving without the body, Kalanda realized that wouldn't go their way either. Her face twitched into a most unpleasant feature, as she recounted the path they had to take just to get here.

That expression totally melted away however, as her hands were seized by Eithni, and Kalanda found herself being lifted up of the rock, Eithni's exuberance radiating like a small sun; and that damn smile, ugh, it just burned right through her sternest scowl. Despite her attempts to not give in, Kalanda relented, the witch had won her over once more; and that damn feeling was creeping back in. "Okay, okay." Kalanda let out a chuckle despite her best attempts not to, agreeing to help her 'bestie'. "I'll take the back, you take the front, okay?" Her mind still lingered on what she was just called, 'bestie'. It was just a simple word, but....it just made her feel good. Ugh. Feelings were confusing. Kalanda would accompany the young witch back towards the body of the creature, still hand in hand; though Kalanda was rather starting to enjoy the simple touch. Together they would use their powers in an attempt to move the beast. Eithni had asked her to help, she wasn't about to let the young witch down.

"Yes!" Cheered Eithni and gave Kalanda a quick but heartwarming bearhug and let go of Kalanda, to go to the front while Kalanda went for the back. Without an effort, they lifted the great Darkghast of Mustafer tall above their head as if it was nothing. Valiantly together they lifted the beast across the dangerous landscape surface of Mustafar, jumped from rock to rock over the lava river. It was child's play, carrying the Darkghast all the way back towards the base. As they would place the large dead Darkghast everyone at the base would quickly get out and in shock and wonder, clap and cheer for the two brave warriors, Kalanda and Eithni!

Alch-Smith would dash out and fall to his knees and crawl on all four over to Eithni and Kalanda, thank them dearly, hugging them and dancing with them both. Then they all three would become best of friends and Alch-Smith would teach them all this knowledge of Sith Alchemy and then they would all hold a huge party in the honour of them both!

Or that was how Eithni very innocent and cheerfully would describe their return, clearly an exaggeration as they had only just managed to lift the Darkghast a few hundred feet over the ground. They had only just made it close enough to see the lava river with the rock platforms for them to jump across when her little story finished.

Eithni seemed in a really good mood, compared to what they were doing and as they got down to the lava river, they placed the dead Darkghast down on the ground again. Eithni quickly dashed around the dead creature and jumped with her arms around Kalanda's neck, almost providing enough force to knock the Sith down. As they stood in front of each other, Eithni would her arms around Kalanda's neck, the Nightsister just smiles with such a passion and joy, "thank you so much for doing this with me iiiih you're the best!" thanked the young witch and hugged Kalanda again, a real deep hug, before letting go of the Sith girl to return to her end of the Darkghast, so they could continue.

Getting over the lava river, provided them with quite a few other challenges than just getting unharmed over. Since this creature wasn't exactly lightweight to carry, even with their combined force powers, while they were able to keep the main body from smelting in the lava, the arms, however, wasn't as lucky. A terrible smell of burned flesh filled the air around them as all four hands got devoured by the lava. While the lost a lot of the hands, the corpse of the Darkghast escaped mostly unharmed across.

After that, it went on pretty eventless and before they knew it, dropped the dead Darkghast on the ground, right in front of the entrance. To say the guards were surprised would be an understatement and they were unsure how to react. "Hi! Could one of you go tell Alch-Smith that we got his Darkghast, thank!" Thanked Eithni giddy as ever, watching the guard nod once and quickly run inside to get the alchemist. While Eithni and Kalanda waited for the guard to return with the alchemist, jumped the young witch upon the dead beast's head and sat down like it was a chair and just started to hum a little song.

Eithni was exceptionally clingy today, as Kalanda received her third hug of the day, before skipping off to deal with the creature. The Acolyte paused for a moment, trying to get a grip on the situation as she was having silly thoughts fill her head. After taking a moment, she shoved all the pleasant feelings Eithni was filling her with, and focused instead on hauling the beast. It wasn't easy, certainly not. The beast was heavy, and Kalanda just gave up on trying to keep it's bottom set of arms from dragging, as the pair would begin their haul. Working with Eithni, it was made easier, though there was a level of strain that would begin to creep in towards the end of the journey, Kalanda only needed a break once they reached the river. Of course, before she could bring up taking a pause, Eithni already set her side down, provoking the Sith to do the same. Curious she looked around the beast, only to find Eithni approaching her. She went to ask if everything was alright, but was nearly sent backwards by the young witch leaping up and embracing Kalanda in a tight hug.

It felt like a scene out of one of those romance novels she used to read when she was younger, as for several moments she found herself held captive by the younger woman. It was rather embarrassing as well, having Eithni sing her praises brought a new shade of color to Kalanda's cheek. "You're being ridiculous. I would never let you handle this alone, besides you'd be sitting in a jail cell without me." Kalanda returned the hug as well, not wanting to leave the witch hanging; though it did nothing to ease that damnable happiness that Eithni evoked in her. "But you are welcome." She added, though she tried to say it as quiet as possible. She cared about the witch, one of the few she could call her friend and not think twice about it. When Eithni broke apart the hug, jogging back to her position, Kalanda felt a tad bit sad. Again, she couldn't place why, but this wasn't the first time such things had been evoked within her. If this was some prank on Eithni's part, it was quite sinister.

Moving the beast across the lava, the two had to move sections of the rock across the lava bed, and carefully drag the body of the beast across; though losing the hands made it much easier to carry. The smell of the flesh wasn't pleasant, but Kalanda had encountered worse; though she fought hard to ignore the reminders of past battles from breaking her concentration.

With the task down, the two would arrive back to the camp, dead monster in tow, as both were a tad spent from the effort; though Eithni seemed to be just fine, though she never seemed run out of energy. The front guards seemed rather at a loss with the two women bringing the body back to the base. Kalanda took a moment to catch her breath, her tunic was rather burnt up, and she had ripped off her sleeves as they had turned into little more than scraps of linen. Eithni called for the alchemist to come out, and for a moment the pair were alone, with the witch electing to sit on their kill and hum to herself. Perhaps Kalanda could bring it up now. Moving closer to the witch, Kalanda sat beside the woman, feeling a little odd about taking a rest on the beast though. There was a moment of hesitation, as Kalanda tried to think of how to address it, but the words found her, and she began to speak. "Eithni, you haven't been trying to prank me have you?" She started, though she would wait for the girl to answer before going into an explanation. "Because lately, I've been feelin-" "By the force, you two did it! Look at that beauty, ohhhhhhh the experiments we are going to perform...." Alch-Smith moved quick for his old age, as he and two assistants came out to inspect the beast. Kalanda clammed up, realizing that perhaps she over estimated how long she had to talk. She rose, taking a step back as the strange old hermet came forth and prodded the beast with a syringe, clearly gushing over his new speciment. Kalanda had a feeling they were going to have to fight the man over being trained now. Kalanda was still fuming over having been cut off, as she was trying to pull back on 'one on one with Eithni' mode' and back into 'Sith life' mode.

Eithni smiled as Kalanda jumped up to side beside her, but didn't stop to hum her song until Kalanda spoke. "Hm? Pranks? Why would I do that?" Asked Eithni innocently, giving Kalanda a genuine grin. "Feeling wh~?" was all Eithni got to reply and now she was curious! Feeling what?! Hmpf, how rude, disrupting when Kalanda was just about to tell Eithni something!

Eithni would have to find out later what it was that Kalanda wanted to say because now it was time for Alch-Smith to uphold his part of the bargain. Jumping down from the beast, she followed the alchemist with her eyes, waiting for him to finish cheering over him having his specimen. Alch-Smith seemed for a minute to forget the two girls as he already was about to give orders to his assistants for what to do, but stopped and turned to face Eithni and Kalanda. "Right, my apologize, come come! I believe I promised you two the knowledge of Sith Alchemy!" Said Alch-Smith loudly, giving both girls a smile, a rather disturbing smile. The kind of smile that just screamed 'I'm going to murder you while you sleep'.

More men arrived outside to take care of the dead Darkghast, by the alchemist's order while he led the two girls back through the station and into his study room. Both girls were led back to the table where the dead animal and was told to grab a chair. At first, Eithni thought the old man was about to continue to teach them regularly alchemy and was about to complain furiously. Even the elders and her mom weren't this boring or annoying to teach from, granted they slapped you if you didn't get it right, but at least it wasn't boring.

However, she soon found out that Alch-Smith more or less just did a slow build in, to the real Sith Alchemy. While Eithni actually recognized a bit of the part in the rituals that they were introduced, it was still very much different from Nightsister rituals. The further they go taught in the day, the more they learned. Eithni wasn't sure how well Kalanda took in the knowledge from the old man, but Eithni devoured every little detail she could and was always eager every time they had to train what they had just learned.

After the day neared its end, Alch-Smith cracked his back, sending out loud popping of his back. "Oh man, look at the time, that is all for now ladies. I've prepared two rooms" explained the alchemist and called in an assistant to guide them to their rooms.

Eithni and Kalanda were guided deeper into the base and passed both a mess hall with a few men inside and a smaller hanger with a ship inside. Finally, they were presented their own rooms, two doors standing side by side, leading into two identical rooms. The rooms themselves were very standard military-grade sleeping quarters. With a well-made bed on a bedframe raised from the floor and part of the wall, a desk with a chair and a lamp and then, of course, a very little room just enough room for a bath, toilet and a sink.

Eithni looked at Kalanda with a sweet smile, "see ya tomorrow Kala!" and entered her room, having forgotten everything about what Kalanda wanted to say, due to how excited and pumped she was doing learning Sith Alchemy.

As Eithni entered her room, she looked around... god this place looked dull, she much rather preferred sleeping in a forest than this, at least she got more than just grey and slightly darker grey colours from everything. Not really having anything other than her weapons, she removed all her weapons and placed them by the desk, which stood right beside the bed. She sat down, to feel how soft it was and she was not impressed.

Then she pretty much just started to almost ransack the entire room for anything interesting and kind of made a mess of everything around her. She did end up finding a secret compartment, containing various old datapads, so Eithni just plumped down on her bed and started to look through them.

Kalanda stood there awkwardly for a moment, her thoughts jumping between what she wanted to say, and what she had to say. Biting into her lip, Kalanda was just going to let it slide, surely there would be a better time to bring it up. The old man finally took note of the two, seeming to remember that he was there to actually teach the two women how to use Sith Alchemy. "Oh, good, so you didn't forget." Kalanda said, sounding rather disappointed as she followed the man and Eithni, leaving the nerds to look over their findings. She did wish he would try not to smile in the future, it was just a tad unnerving. Kalanda fell in line behind Eithni, several times she thought about trying to continue the conversation, only to second guess herself. No, they needed to be alone, that way no more distractions could come up.

Being lead back to the class room with the second worst smell in the galaxy, the pair would learn a most unfortunate truth. As it turned out, it would take many days for the pair to learn Sith Alchemy to the point they could actually manage to use it. So, now they were going to be stuck here with this creepy old man for...much longer than Kalanda would have liked. At least she had Eithni though, which meant she had more time to bring up the questions she needed answers to. She tried to keep track of all the information as it was presented to her, but she occasionally got distracted by questions that popped into her head. The more she thought about it, the more nervous it made her, which made it harder to concentrate. Over all it was just a cycle of confusion, and Kalanda was eager for the class to end; she'd have to compare notes with Eithni some other point after this.

When they were dismissed, thoughts came back into Kalanda's mind about talking to Eithni, but of course, she'd just wait until they were alone, that'd certainly happen right? Of course it would. Following the old man's assistant, they arrived at their quarters, modest rooms really, nothing too crazy; as it should have been. Kalanda only took a glance at the accommodations, and turned to speak with Eithni, only to have her hopes rather deflate when the girl said she'd see her tomorrow. "Oh, right, I'll be here, dearie." She fumbled her words, feeling just a tad dejected. Watching her blonde friend disappear behind the door, Kalanda stared at the door for several seconds, before retreating into her own quarters. She undressed, throwing her ruined clothes to the floor, before crawling into bed. She had Eithni on her mind, and questions as to why the girl had this effect on her. It wasn't some nightsister nonsense being worked on her, nor was it the force, but what else could it be? It just felt...unnatural. She turned over, looking to the ceiling as she now had another quest for knowledge awaiting her. Sadly, she didn't think this knowledge could be found in a library, maybe it was time to do some soul searching.
