@Soverin Probably a bit late for Mors to hop in, we're already in the middle of our battles. Since you're sith and we have a few Jedi on back order it might be possible for your char and whomever's next in line on the Jedi side to start up a fight on the side somewhere, perhaps reinforcements or something. Ultimately up to @Korvo though.

Glad to see your interest, man! Sadly, we're already in full swing, and the thread is a short one by design; by the time the new timeline arrives (just a few days) I fully expect this to be done. Any more folks likely wouldn't be able to do much if they entered now. I'm sure we can work something out in the future, though!

It's diverse, and i am pretty easy going. However, if this was a real Duel next timeline, i'd be taking your legs.

The issue is that I am sliding on the shins that you kicked, as well, a force assisted kick would take a few seconds to wind up. Also consider that, the pain from having your toes seared off, likely would put you on your butt also. Not to mention that human being need their toes to balance and stand up.

I am happy to continue mind, as long as this is a learning experience. You are going to learn more from dueling, than you are from stopping here.

Because it is going to be astounding that your toeless character can stand. I am more than happy to allow you to control NPC's from the battlefield if only to get your character away for medical aid etc, or to continue to fight with you. However it is unlikely someone will allow that, when the timeline starts.

I'd seen it, bro (I check the site most afternoons during lunch), but I was so busy yesterday, I never had the chance to come on. I'll whip something up real soon.

So pretty much, use of the force requires focus on the force, it can't be something that is used along side weapon swings, other force powers etc. It doesn't take long to wind up, but it takes long enough that their should be a noticeable gap.

As the man's blade began its swing on the tail end of the leap he unleashed his gathered energy. The manifestation was that of a powerful and concentrated blast, aimed to strike the man in his sternum... [Continue with what damage it may have done, then a possible follow up!]"

In regards to fighting with a sword, my best advice is reading what you write, thinking of ways you would counter it, and if you can defend that counter. If you can't and they work out they can counter it that way, well its almost like killing yourself. For example, I knew that an upwards strike with a single blade, would leave your legs open to attack, an upwards traveling blade would be hard to redirect into a overly good defence.

All PvP is about is out playing your opponent. Like a game of chess, a single move may not mean the end of a duel. However it could easily set you up for a loss! If you have an interest in learning, have a look through some of the duels in the diverse section. There is plenty of things you can learn just by reading PvP!

EDIT: Wow, finally. Might have made it a bit too trippy, but that's the last. If you all want (@Spud, @Warmonger, @Tsunami), you can post your character's reactions, waking up from the dream / vision. Anastasia's reaction was pretty obvious from the beginning; she asked a Jedi Master to be an interpreter.
