I'm pissed there is nothing on Deus Ex 3 yet. Aside from Mass Effect 2, that's the next biggest RPG I'm looking foward too.

Big announcement for E3 2010 on G4.com tomorrow.

Can I hope open to the public? If so, I'll be in Cali for about a month, since I'm going to ComiCon next year.

I'm pretty sure they mean how it's going to function. And why not? It's the perfect time to do it. Get people excited for the next year.

Although ive been reading and watching a bunch of new stuff on ME2 and STOR so im happy for now.

Erm..I'm highly tempted to say that's not true. They have different branches who work on their various games for years at a time. The only thing that's held back Ep 3 is their lack of commitment & downright laziness they seem have.

This. HOW can it take so long to make an 8 hour game with the same engine as the last one? Seriously... They need to finally get it done and release it. They've had awhile now. -_-

I can't believe what I'm reading. Valve is one of the best developers around. They're extremely customer-friendly, and have done their best to keep all content updates and such completely free for all their games, have come out with the best value pack in all of gaming (The Orange Box), and you guys are complaining because they haven't finished one of their games yet?

As far as I know, Valve is sitting on this project because they don't want to disappoint. I'd rather they not rush it and make a full fledged game instead of a half-assed episode with only a couple hours of gameplay.

I'm not asking them to rush it, but a Trailer with some gameplay atleast would not kill them.

I'd rather get an Episode 3 when I am twenty four that it AMAZING, then an Episode 3 now that is just mediocre (since Valve can't make bad games. :))

That's just it..they're not going to make a "full fledged game" out of this, its going to be another ep like the other two before, give or take a few hours. But that's not what I'm talking about, its the rate that its going in which pisses me off. I would be more than content if they just showed us one sign of how its going, or god forbid, some sort of teaser trailer. But the truth is that even after they promised us the "very short time" between episodes, and going on to almost 3 years after Ep 2, all we've gotten so far are a couple of shitty ambiguous concept arts for the next game and not much else.
No, that's not good enough for me.

They don't seem to be in any big problems either, since they just shit out L4D2 not even a year after the first..
