Elohim was born on the fair-weathered and tropical planet of Palehuia, a relatively new member to the Galactic community. His youth was that of most of his species, growing in the safety of the capital city of Xaltelolco. He grew up learning to hunt, studying the stars and learning as much as he could about the planet he lived on from it's trees to it's food sources, though even his teachers and family noticed he was very unlike the others of his species. He adapted quickly to his teachings but many suspected he was "ascended", a term they'd recently been informed meant sensitive to the "Force". To be ascended in his species, he was expected to learn the ways of the "Breath"; a form of the Force used by a sect known as the Tonaltzintli - the elite warrior caste in his society. In his youth he was confined primarily to the safety of the city studying in ways of controlling his "Breath", until his first "expansion", or first step into puberty in which all in his species' wings would begin to grow and he was expected to become a journeyman by exploring and continuing the knowledge of the native world to help benefit in the defense of his city. Given the fairly recent discovery of his home planet by the wider Galaxy, his species' leading council decided to give him, along with another dozen of so of his kind over to the Galactic Republic and Jedi as a sign of "good faith", in hopes of cementing a seat in the Galactic community. Their hope of helping in removing the brutal Klurrrg threat to their own species.
Elohim was as much political tool, as he was a social experiment. His species were relatively unsophisticated. They had learned to harness energy on a sophisticated scale, but to travel the stars? Their math was highly advanced, yet their minds never wondered about traveling to the "deep sky", space. They had placed love and care into the ground and sky that they easily dominated and avoided all forms of, what they perceived to be, water. Space travel was new to them. Their species were naturally larger than most, so it was hard to find ships large enough to accommodate them. Still, the Jedi had managed to take him and a few others to train along side the main Jedi Temple. Elohim took a liking to the Jedi's teachings, he saw similarities in his own's species line of thinking, but their recent militarization in many of the Order's member's frustrated him, as well as the Council's sudden silence in the matter. Elohim was a vocal proponent in aiding the members of the Galaxy in other ways than leading troops into battle, instead helping citizens survive while the powerful used the weak. He left the Order, and went about his journey on the back of a cargo ship, hoping to aid the Galaxy in any way he could, with the thought of "home" in the back of his mind.
Given the recent political climate, and with it's uncertainty in the strength of the Republic, his home planet of Palehuia secluded itself from further negotiations in aid and urged it's "lost children" to return. A call Elohim ignored. -
Kind of hard to miss a massive wolf with wings and talons for feet. His species is very new to the Galaxy and so he's relatively new to just about most beings in the Galaxy not being a stranger and being looked at. He's often mistaken as a Wookiee, and he's heard many stories in realm of possibly being made in a lab somewhere, or just some genetic Shistvanen freak mutant, and from there the stories just get weirder.
His top coat is usually green, with the exception of when in cold weather, in which it fades into a shade of grey or white depending on the intensity of the drop in temperature. He towers over most species, even managing to make Wookiee's look smaller in comparison. His wings add to his overall presence, and it's hard for him to fit through most doors and corridors in more advanced and hominoid civilizations, as such he most often subject to walking on all fours with his wings tucked to squeeze through "regular sized" human-build ships and buildings.

His species is relatively new to the Galaxy, and not many of his kind have left his homeworld given their unique society and already reclusive nature. Personally, Elohim doesn't much care for a lot of things other than helping and exploring. He recognizes his strength, but only so to use it to be beneficial. He has little to no attachment, other than to his homeworld, but that single attachment is eclipsed by his curiosity to see this giant new Galaxy he's spend only a fraction of his life outside his homeworld.
Being just a few years short before his age of sexual maturity has pushed him to really take advantage of exploring the Galaxy and bringing back his knowledge and experiences to his people. -
