Knelt in the center of the Sith Meditation chambers was a lone man, Avare' Trucido. In deep meditation he waited impatiently for the next poor soul he would be corrupting. The man that would be his next apprentice went by Terith Hagando and he would be further converted to the dark ways. Clenching his fists in mid meditation he could feel himself filling with anger. This man had potential from the holoreports, but until he was proven otherwise Terith was a poor pathetic soul, he was weakness. Soon however he would be a Sith, a true Sith, he would be power...

Terith strode down the dark hallways to the meditation room where he was to meet his new master. His long black cloak billowed out behind him and he smoothed back his short prematurley grey hair. Coming to the door he steeled himself using the Force, then palmed the control to open it. Stepping through the door a wave of dark energy hit him full in the face, almost making him step back. The power all seemed to be coming from one man in the center of the room.
"Sorry I'm later, an annoying dock worker slowed my departure from the spaceport. They might be able to find all of his smoking remains in a couple hours....... Master." Terith said with a smile, adding the honorific as a precaution.

Hearing the doors blast open is what would snap Avare' out of the Meditative trance. Standing as his new apprentice spoke he turned and looked at the man, yes he would suffice rather nicely. Though the lateness would come at a cost to the new Acolyte.

"Obedience my Apprentice!!"

Pausing he stared at the man that looked to be twisted by the darkness almost as much as himself. It was obvious he was a user of the Force, and had been for some time. Pacing around him Avare's crimson and gold eyes pierced through the Sith Acolyte before him, he was much stronger than he would've guessed, good. Reaching out through the Force it took ahold of his Apprentices throat, clenching the trachea just enough to make him skip a breath.

"Power is at your fingertips Terith! No dock official should hold you from reaching true power!"

Clenching down on the trachea harder through the dark secrets of the Sith Order he would hold the air passage for only a moment before breaking the grip on the passage that supplied him with the much needed oxygen.

"...tell me what is the Sith Code?"

Crossing his arms he stared across at his new Apprentice, should he not know the code there would be greater punishments in store for his new found pupil.

Terith grinned as he felt his throat tighten with that familiar feeling. His old master had done it to him countless times, untill Terith had decided uenough was enough and killed him. He hoped he wouldn't be forced to do that to soon to this one, he still had things he needed to learn.
"The Code of the Sith, Master, is embedded in my memory, my old master made me learn it well, before I killed him. The code is as follows

Peace is a lie there is

only passion...

Through Passion I gain

strength...

Through strength I gain

power...

Through power I gain

victory...

Through victory my

chains are broken

The Force shall free me...
"

Terith slowly moved his black cloak back to make sure he could get to his lightsaber easily should his new master attack him.

He nodded, this one was well trained in the ways of the Darkness already... the basics would have to be skipped. Crossing his arms he stared at the man in front of him, wondering where to start, perhaps it would be wise to test his Apprentice.

"Tell me... what is it your former Master had taught you... it seems he did not have the power to control you, though the wisdom to console you... train you... manipulate you to his will. You're a strong one Terith, I sense a power inside you, a power that has yet to be brought out.... we will bring it out...."

My former master taught me the basics of the Sith and the dark side. He taught me basic lightsaber combat, but no forms, HE didn't trust me enough not to use them against him." Terith smiled at that, "He forgot that I could kill him easily with the force. My masters name was Darth Revan, ever heard of him." Terith said the name with a knowing grin, "He apparently found a way to keep himself alive even though he must be nearly onethousand years old by now. You will also be pleasently surprised by something I have brought you, as a gift." He reached into a pouch on his belt and pulled out a small cube, tossing it to his master he said, "This is the Sith Holocron that Reven recorded all of his knowledge on, I have already memorized it, so you can have it."

Avare' had almost laughed at the thought of Darth Revan still being alive, yes it was quite possible, but should he have trained this man he would be more powerful than even Avare' himself could imagine. Catching the holocron he looked it over, amused at it, it very well could have some useful knowledge within it, but that of Darth Revan, a rare thing.

"Your former Master would amuse me my Apprentice... if it were the true Darth Revan, you would not be standing before me... but I you. Should Revan have returned from the Unknown Regions he would be sensed by both the Sith and the Jedi! He was power my Apprentice... there have been those who... like to pretend as they say. I'm sure your former Master was a mere pawn compared to Revan!"

Reaching out threw the Force he took in the dark energy around him, pushing it to one centralized location, his palm. Releasing the energy in one blast of Lightning it was sent at his apprentice. Should he find a way to block it, then Avare' would be impressed in the skills of the former trainer of his apprentice, but it would still be no Darth Revan.

"...Wisdom! Wisdom my Apprentice is something you should cherish... something you have yet to truly learn. Revan is long past dead... imposters will be living in this Galaxy for hundreds... thousands of years to come! If your former trainer had been Revan... if you had killed Revan... then my Pupil you would be a Sith Lord, not a mere Acolyte. Not a Sith that has nothing to do in this Galaxy. Revan always had a plan.. he was a tactician, he was a strategist... his ideas were ideas that no one else had ever thought of.. imagined. He managed to survive Malak's betrayal! I believe he would be able to out think a mere Acolyte like yourself.... and you forget one thing... He destroyed Malak, he destroyed the great Star Forge... and he left the charted regions..."

Pausing for only a moment the Sith crossed his arms once again, taking in a deep breath and letting it out in the form of a sigh.

"...as a Jedi..."

Terith felt the Force gather and sensed the attack coming. Steeling himself with his master's trainign he lifted his hands and gathering the lighting hurled it back at his master.
"What you say is true, Reven would be sensed by the Jedi and Sith, unless what he learned in the Unknown Regions helped him, that which he taught me. Saying this Terith drew into himself, completly wiping out his Force presence to the world. You see, I killed him in his sleep, even the great Reven needs sleep, and as he told me, "The aprentice will kill the master eventually, for that is the way of things. I expect you to hold to that." You may scoff, but I tell you the man who trained me was indeed Darth Revan."

His lightsaber shot to life as the Acolyte managed to return the Master's own attack, impressive. Angling the blade outwards towards the incomming attack the lightning was drawn to it much like it was to a rod. The crimson blade taking in the blue energy and it faded to nothing until it came to an end. Giving the saber a quick spin he stared down Terith before sensing him disapear.

"That is no new trick to me Terith... it has long been known. An easy task to learn should the user have the Willpower to be taught such a draining technique."

Disengaging the red blade he held the lightsaber in his right hand, still glaring at his Apprentice. His thoughts were his weakness, his beliefs in his master being Revan far too strong. Revan would not return to the Galaxy only to train a single man, a man who did not have the knowledge of Revan's true teachings.

"You may believe what you will my Apprentice, though I assure you. The man who trained you was no Darth Revan... he has long past become one with the Force! Killing a man of his power... of his strength in the Force would send shockwaves... shockwaves even the Force itself cannot block out..."

Terith glared at him, "Think what you will, I did not come to the Sith to squabble like a girl. Unless that is all you can teach me to do. I came here because I believed I could become more powerful than any that ever walked the galaxy! Was I wrong, did I simply come to a group of people that believe themselves to be mighty yet have no true power? Have me lift wooden boxes in the air if you will, have me fight hapless prisoners, I came here to be trained not to be argued with." Saying this Terith drew back his long black coat in one fluid and theatrical motion and pulled out his lightsaber. "Now will you train me or not?"

Avare' this time laughed out loud. This fool dared defy his new Master? Who did he think he was, a mere Acolyte standing up to a fully trained Knight, only a unwise fool would make such a gesture.

"I am training you as we speak my Apprentice... I am teaching you of the true ways of the Sith. Liars... deceiters... there is more to the Sith ways then simply death. Wisdom... intelligence... abilities through the Force are far greater than any lightsaber form can ever be. Even I know this, you must see that a falsifier... a Sith, a Dark Jedi claiming to be one of the greatest Sith the Galaxy has ever seen would teach you of the ways of the Sith... but he cannot teach you to be a Sith."

Crossing his arms he stared at the Acolyte before him whom had drawn his saber, should he ignite it there would surely be consquences, the Acolyte was indeed strong in what he was taught, though lacked the technique to make him great.

"You will be trained... though it will be my way, the way of the Sith! The way of true power.... should you survive my training, then you will earn my respect! Then you will earn power... then you will be a true Sith, not a victim of a fool claiming to be greatness only comming up far short! If you wish to pursue training then we will begin... but if you wish to fight, to die... then embrace the foolish ways of a Dark Jedi... not of a Sith and ignite your lightsaber!"

Terith lisntened to what the man said. His anger was building up inside him. How dare this man insult the very person who had given Terith's life meaning, the man who had saved him from a life of boredom and repetitivnes. Terith debated with himself whether or not he should ignite his blade, and let the arm holding the lightsaber drop to his side.
"Very well," he said, "but do not mistake me for a coward, I am not such. However, I will listen to your training. I will obey you." Terith dropped to one knee and bowed before the man, " I am yours to command, Master."

Avare' gave him a simple nod, though not a reassuring nod, one of disgust. He knew the Acolyte still believed in the foolish trainings of the falsifier, even if it had been Revan the Sith Knight would never believe such a statement to be true.

"A wise move my Apprentice, I do not feel it was your day to become one with the Force..."

Walking out of the room he motioned for the Acolyte to follow him, he was heading towards the barracks of the compound. Comming to the large room there were several men, some children, most aged around Terith's own age were awaiting their Master's in various ways. The men knelt in meditation and others sleeping, those were the fools that had no defense.

"These pathetic Acolytes feel as if they are more powerful than you my pupil... I shall give you an honor!"

Pointing around the room as if he were giving his apprentice a gift on Life Day. He would be treated...

"You may pick one... one fellow Acolyte to face off... to show your true power on! To kill...."

Terith followed his master out of the room. When they reached the room filled with other acolytes and Terith heard what his master said his grinned, finally a chance to kill again, it had been far to long. He looked around the room and it seemed that the acolytes knew what was to happen, some shrank from him, he ignored them. Others however looked ready to challenge him, those where the ones he would focus on. Seeing one in particular he pointed him out to his master, "That one, the big Barabel in the corner. I will fight and kill him." Terith grinned at the Barabel, clearly enjoying himself, the Barabel simply spat on the ground at his feet. "You will pay for that my dear friend." Terith's grin had faded from his face and his grey eyes were now burning red with blood lust.

Avare' stood at this one, he chose one of the strong, one of the more powerful students. It was possibly not the smartest decision though it would show his true potential. It would also not rid the Empire of the weaker trainees, but they would fight none-the-less. Watching the large man approach Avare' crossed his arms and began his walk towards the dueling ring. Upon reaching the room he motioned for each to take a vibrosword of their choice. After the task was complete he looked at each and motioned for them to fight. The larger man, Yuuteg, lept forward with his single blade. Cutting upwards at Terith's stomach, if the attack should land his guts would be spilt.

((A barabel is actually an alien species, a large lizard. Just to let you know.))

Terith twirled the doublebladed vibrrosword in his hands and prepared for the attack. Seeing Yuuteg's clumsy attempt at an upward slice he easily whirled out of the way. Spinning around the larger being Terith used his superor speed to get behind him, were he slashed with one of the blades of his sword at the back of the knees. As he did this Terith set his hands on the grip so that if the strike landed he would then spin the sword at the neck, decaptating Yuuteg, hopefully.

((Learn something new everyday... lol))

The large Lizard found his attack to be a complete miss, something that angered Yuuteg. Sensing the blade comming towards the back of his leg it stepped forward, the attack missing by mere inches. As he stepped forward he spun on his toe and brought the blade down with all the force his body could muster at Terith's right clavicle bone.

On the side Avare' watched in silence, his pupil's form was above average. Though not much was expected from an Acolyte, in time he would be a great weaponmaster, if that was the path he took. Should he take the path of controlling the Force there would be no need for a blade, only for extreme measures.

Terith smiled, not a nice smile, but a smile that made it known to the world his enemy had messed up, and Terith knew how to exploit that. Speeding himself up using the force, Terith was now moving five times faster than his usuall speed, which was already very fast. Yuuteg's blade seemed to be moving through water and Terith took the opurtunity to roll to the side "Dead" side of the lizard. The dead side was where the Barabel wouldn't be able to spin fast enough to attack Terith. As he rolled he stuck one of the blades up in the air, slicing towards the slow moving wrist. If his attack suceeded he would slice of Yuuteg's hand, disarming his oponent and he would then finish him off, easily.

The Barabel felt its wrist sliced in two and screeched in agony as both the blade and hand fell to the ground. Looking at the damage that was dealt it knew it was surely finished...

Still on the side Avare' simply nodded in agreeance at the end of the fight, Terith would finish the lesser student off and they would move on, unless his pupil showed mercy...

Terith watched as Yuuteg dropped to his knees holding his severed hand. Holding the center handle of his doublebladed vibrosword he brought one of the blades up to the back of his arm, leaving the other extending straight down. Walking towards the barabel he smiled coldy and said, "Maybe I should spare you," He saw Yuuteg look up with a hopeful look in his eyes, "Of course I won't, I just wanted to make you think you had a chance," He leaned in so his face was inches from Yuutegs, "Goodbye ner'vod." Saying this he stood up and brought the vibrosword around in a dramatic spin aimed straight for Yuuteg's vulnerable neck.
