I liked it. That lens flare, etc.

I hate to be that kind of fan, but the trailer looks like a fan film. Disappointing, but it's early in post-production so I shouldn't expect TOO much.

Those weird cross-sabers are a legit thing in star wars lore though. I am glad to see they are branching out Lightsaber types even more in this movie

Okay, thoughts gathered:
Until the effects shots hit, I thought maybe I was being trolled again by a fan film again. Something about the shots and the editing - maybe I'm too used to standard hollywood shots these days. Some stuff looked genuinely interesting, like one of the leads being a (soon to be) former Stormtrooper, and the various flight shots in atmosphere - Star Wars, film wise, has only really done space battles rather than aerial dogfights. But then there's stuff like.. a ball astromech, cross-saber, and that one shot of the pilot in the cockpit. Something didn't feel right with it.

Still, interest peaked.

I enjoyed it I think, but it didn't evoke much. Maybe it's just an early doors thing.

I agree with it feeling fan-made at times, but I'm still excited.
