Coven had always subscribed to the idea that if someone didn't want their things stolen, they shouldn't leave it lying around for someone to take. He usually liked to remind himself of this whenever he stole things. It was a simple matter to achieve really, he walked into a mostly vacant hanger on Naboo and acted like he was supposed to be there. With a little bit of assistance from the Force, and he was free to just walk into the ship and begin the startup sequence. By the time anyone had realized what was happening, he was up in the air and long gone.

From there it was a matter of chasing down leads on artifacts. There were a few rumors about the nearby systems on a variety of things. Sith artifacts in a collection, Sith ruins filled with ghosts, Jedi ruins in the desert, those kinds of things. He was willing to bet the artifact in the collection was fake, and he had more than enough ghosts screaming around in his mind to want to find more. So the ruins in the desert were his best bet.

Tatooine he immediately thought, wasn't great. He held no particular fondness for sand, but it was really the heat that he was dreading. But needs must, as they say, so once he landed he retrieved his lightsaber and clasped it to his belt, lowered the docking ramp and let the dusty heat wash over him. 'Coward! I BURNED THIS IS NOTHING!' 'Really Alastair, this is what's going to stop you?' He could pick out a few voices amongst the mocking ghostly peanut gallery in his mind, but as usual paid them no mind. With a deep sigh he stepped out into the open air and glanced around.

Best to take stock of what he had and what he was going to need, he just knew this trip was turning out to be a mistake. Maybe a polite bystander would know something about what he was looking for. On this backwater desert world. Run by crime lords. Spectacular!

Tatooine hadn't been Lori's first choice when it came to somewhere to settle down under the radar, but, the planet had in its surprisingly rich history, been a place for a lot of people to disappear and start over from scratch. This had worked well for Lori and once she had shown up on the world, looking for work as, well, anything really, she hadn't spent too long before she had a potential job to look forward to.

Fast forward almost three years and the locals in this tiny settlement outside Mos Eisley had started to warm up a bit towards her, she wasn't the newcomer anymore and she didn't get awkward looks whenever she moved around, as people started to associate her more and more as a mechanic that tended to ships without asking questions. She usually kept to herself and only really spoke up whenever someone addressed her directly.

Today was just like any other day. A new ship arrived and her boss told her to get the toolbox out for a diagnostics, and get the 'expensive one' as this ship looked a bit fancier than the usual wrecks that came by. So, dragging the toolbox with one hand she stepped into the hangar and raised her hand to cover her eyes from the sun glaring down from above. "Welcome to Tatooine, stranger," she was still trying to get the local accent down, "You want a once over of her? Boss says first one's free."

Lowering her hand after her eyes adjusted to the light she wiped it against the stained work outfit she wore. Today, was just like any other day.

Tatooine. Not the first time he had been on this ball of sand nor would it be his last. There were many spots for people of all kinds to hide, monsters of all shapes and sizes to hunt, and the occasional job to complete. Black Market trading came to mind as well, be it of people or items, though Xaissir wasn't here for such a thing. He was looking for someone in particular, though, from what info he had gathered so far, it didn't seem like who he was looking for wasn't here. Unfortunate, but not surprising. Due to this, the young Mandalorian decided to hang around Mos Eisley. Collect himself, restock on supplies and grab anything he needed. He had been around the hangar looking at ship parts, as if thinking of the day he would have his very own ship and what it would be called, how it looked, and just what he would do with it. He would have to save up for such a thing again since the last ship he ever had was one he shared with his clan.

'Oh honey, who do you think you're fooling?' a voice said, and for a long moment Coven thought it was another in a long line of strange mentally ill self-recriminations about his own worthiness or something like that. It didn't take long for him to realize that for once, his wacky mental gymnastics that tried to convince him that he was actually talking to ghosts in his own mind, where not referring to him, but instead one - or both - of the only current occupants of the hangar he had landed in. The ones that weren't him anyway.

A quick survey in the force was enough to give him some self assurance that he was not in fact talking to himself. They were both bastions of, well, not exactly the Lightside, but they were far closer to that state of being than Coven was. One bucket-head, and one mechanic. The perfect start to Coven's day.

He descended the ramp, Lightsaber lightly tapping against his left thigh, and let a wide smile spread across his face. "My thanks to you, my friend." He made sure his voice was non-threatening, and even pleasant to listen too. A nice warm baritone with a bit of core-worlds culture that deftly avoided condescension. "I'll never turn down a free once over," He desperately wanted to add a salacious wink, but he wasn't a creep. "For my ship."

He glanced around the hangar, and let his control over his force presence slip enough that he could be noticed if someone was willing to look, but not displaying any of the usual malice one would find in your typical Darksider. "Something seems odd though..." Coven continued, not going so far as to tap his chin, he wasn't an outrageous man though he did love a bit of theatre. "I never expected to find not one," he pointed lightly with his right index finger at the pretty white haired girl, and then spread his arm to the right to point at the bucket-head. "But two... Jedi. Yes, Jedi!" He finished, as if satisfied with his conclusion. He had met a Jedi once before, two in fact, so there were certain tells he could pick up. Or so he justified to himself, truthfully there was a healthy amount of guessing, and an enormous leap in logic that brought him to this conclusion. But if he was wrong, the only price he would pay would be looking like a fool, and he has never had any problems with that.

It had been a while since Lori had last encountered someone who was able to sense and use the force, and from her memory, she hadn't met anyone around this small settlement either. Which meant after a few weeks of living here and she had just forgotten to hide her presence in the Force, which in hindsight might have been a bad idea.

As the stranger strolled down the ramp she caught sight of that oh so telling cylinder tapping against the stranger's thigh. Though she didn't mention it nor did she plan to, as she hoped to just appear as untrained perhaps, someone who had the potential to use the force but hadn't gotten any training in using it.

But as his force presence spread across the hangar she noticed a different one coming at the same time, someone from behind her? As she tried to continue to play the innocent mechanic from this backwater world she dragged the toolbox along to the side of the ship and slowly moved closer to one of the panels when Coven spoke up about something being odd.

She froze like a womp rat in the headlights of a speeder and looked up at him, seeing his arms pointing towards the door as he exclaimed 'Two Jedi!' She instinctively pulled back her presence and pulled the toolbox closer to her, while it didn't hold her Lightsaber, it had a fair few tools she might be able to use if this Force user was going to cause trouble. She had gotten quite handy with a hydrospanner since she got here. "A Jedi? Here? Surely you must be experiencing some Hyper space fever or something, there hasn't been a Jedi on Tatooine since the civil war, or so I'm told."

Lori said and quietly unbuckled the latch which held the top of the box closed. She knew exactly where the spanner laid and she'd have it out in an instant if the need arose.

Xaissir seemed to freeze on the spot as a voice rang out about not only one, but two Jedi in the vicinity of the man exclaiming it. It seemed it would be harder to hide from others that could sense such a thing. He couldn't help but twitch his hand towards his belt where his own lightsaber was hanging. His gaze looking over at the man from under his helmet, though he was a bit confused by the statement of two. If he was the one.....was the girl the other? His head turned again to look at the mechanic before looking back at the man, "Need something?" He asked out with a grunt. Xaissir's hand still hovered over his weapon in a cautious stance, though he chuckled at the girl's statement, "You'd be surprised. I sure am."

While the kneejerk reactions from the mechanic didn't exactly prove anything, they certainly gave Coven a good indication that she knew something about the Jedi. T'was almost providential Coven thought. "Peace my friends!" He spoke again, holding his hands up placatingly.

"Truly, I mean neither of you no harm, Sith though I may be!" That should get them all up in a fuss! If only he had thought to record this, there were so many good moments he would never be able to immortalize, perhaps he should get a tiny camera for his shirt? Be one of those guys?

Maybe, he should start a collection. He was already something of a hoarder, why not expand his interests? "I've actually come here searching for something that you two might be able to help me with," He let an energetic, almost shark-like grin spread across his face. "I've been hearing rumors that this is the homeworld of General Luke Skywalker, so I'm curious to see if he might have left anything behind." He left out the other rumors about Rey Skywalker's journey here as well, on top of the other rumors of more ancient sites of the Jedi. Best to start small, he thought.

As the voice from behind her came and announced that they too were surprised about the statement that two Jedi were here she quickly glanced over towards him and then back up towards the stranger. As he announced his allegiance to the Sith Order she furrowed her brow. "How can you be a part of an order that's been dead for a hundred years? At least." She asked as she opened the lid to the toolbox just enough to pull the hydrospanner from its resting space and closed the lid just as carefully.

When he then announced that the two of them could aid him in finding any secrets that General Luke Skywalker might have left behind she shook her head. "What kind of bantha laced drinks have you been downing? First that General Luke Skywalker would have lived on Tatooine and then that I would take time off my shift to go and help a supposed member of a dead organization?" She tilted her head slightly to the side and then glanced over towards the other voice that had come from behind her.

And yep, the bucket-head was hovering his hand awfully close to something that could either be a blaster or if the claim that there was a Jedi in here had any merit, which it kind of did, could be a lightsaber.

She reaffirmed her grip on the spanner, if this turned into a brawl she'd be severely under gunned, she doubted that her boss would even notice, let alone any of the supposed law enforcement outside. "But, the way I see it..." she turned her attention back to the stranger on the ramp, "if there was even the slightest chance that this Sith order of yours had returned, perhaps they might know a thing or two of where to find Luke's homestead, because I highly doubt he was from 'round here."

Xaissir couldn't help but stare in disbelief as the man simply announced himself as Sith. That twitching hand hovering over his lightsaber now simply grasping the handle as he glared at the man from under his helmet. Not only that, the man was also looking for remnants of Luke Skywalker. As this was his home planet, the Mandalorian could understand the thought process of wanting to look here for pieces of the old Jedi master, though Xaissir didn't like the idea, "And why would I help a Sith look for such things? Especially things that belonged to the Skywalker Family?" It was one thing for Sith to be looking for Jedi artifacts, locations, and anything between, but to be looking for things that belonged to Luke? He couldn't exactly go along with it, "Even humoring the thought is a bit suspicious, don't you think?"

Coven smiled pleasantly, greatly amused by the general aura of aggression or defensiveness the two supposed Jedi gave off. "You should keep up with the news more, my dear. The Sith are back and better than ever." He first addressed the questions of the lovely lady, spreading his arms wide exaggeratedly. "While I would never object to such lovely company as yourself, I would never dream of taking you away from your work. All I need, is a little information."

He turned his smile to the buckethead. "I'm something of an archeologist you see," He felt that perhaps he was being too smug, but on the other hand, being smug was tremendously fun. "And as I said, your help is not required, though I would love to have it. Personally I've always felt the enmity between our two orders to be a tremendous waste of time and energy, so I'm always happy to find opportunities for cooperation!" Coven exclaimed, hoping to bring down the tension a little.

He even went so far as to cross his arms over his chest, keeping a relaxed posture and his hands far away from his saber. His sunny smile never left, because everything he had said was simply the truth. Besides, weren't Jedi supposed to see the best in people? Why not give him the benefit of the doubt, he would never harm them unless they attacked first. He was a many of principles, after all.

Though Lori had put the Jedi Order behind her and had tried to keep herself away from matters of the Jedi, she couldn't stop her hand drifting towards the spot where her Lightsaber would have rested on her hip, if she had had it with her, despite knowing that it lay safely at home.

However as the supposed Sith moved his hands away from the hilt of his blade she looked over towards the Mandalorian-clad Jedi. A Sith going to Tatooine to find lost Jedi treasures she could understand, but, why would a Jedi go to Tatooine? They weren't the treasure hunting kind, or at least they hadn't been when she was a part of the order, or she might just not have encountered those who were.

But one thing she did know was that there was a Jedi here, looking for something, and she had left the order without a word. She had just disappeared one day and never shown up again. Did they look for her? She doubted it, but there was a risk. "The supposed Sith might be here for some treasures of the Jedi of old, but, why are you here then, Jedi? Looking for someone?" she asked as she looked back up at the supposed Sith.

"I don't think you'll find what you're looking for here, if you're looking for treasures." She spoke to the Sith and shifted the toolbox oh so slightly towards the Jedi, putting it as an obstacle between her and the other two in the hangar.

Xaissir continued to look at the Sith man from under his helmet, as if trying to peer in to his mind with his gaze alone, though he sighed. He had to admit, the thought of Skywalker artifacts did intrigue him, but having to help a man that was openly calling himself a Sith? It was beyond strange. The question from the woman made his attention break as he looked over to the mechanic, "Hm? Well. This isn't my first time on this planet, though you aren't wrong. I am looking for someone, though they don't seem to have been here recently." It was a shame, but he would have to look elsewhere. His hand finally moved away from the lightsaber on his hip before looking to the man again, ".....say I was to help you. What would I get out of it?" He asked quite boldly.
