CAPITAL CITY, MIRIAL, LOCAL TIME: 2205

Imperial might made its presence known in shattering and convincing demonstrations; today would be no different.

For decades, crime lords had run rampant and efforts to bring them into lawful doctrine had failed miserably. But tonight, it would be not any local government but rather full regiments of Imperial Assault Corps and Imperial Foreign legion, led by the nefarious Sith Champion: Maelibus Alpha. Accompanying him on this assignment was one of the Empire's most promising acolytes. The Duo were tasked of making an example of those that stood in the way of Imperial judgment.

Shuttles made themselves visible over the horizon, quickly coming to a landing in the public centre's central opening. Thugs and resistance forces immediately opened fire, only to be met with Imperial troopers returning in full efforts. Soon, the city center was encapsulated in blaster fire, red and green bolts flying back and forth. Maelibus Alpha stood on the off-ramp, his obsidian flesh barechested and rippling with its immense musculature. The golden warhammer was held in a single right handed grip, cast over his back as he coiled the force around him with his left. Fingertips gestured as he slowly sauntered downwards into the fray. A maniacal laughter echoed from underneath the golden Maelibi helm, almost obscuring the shuttle in its noise.

A vicious snarl, Maelibus Alpha hurled the hammer forwards with shattering strength to send the weapon flying viciously against several bodies of hostile combatants. The Kaleesh pressed on the offensive assault, crimson lightsaber igniting as he leaped into a valley of enemy fighters. For now, he offered no instruction to the acolyte, hoping that the Sith warrior would be able to fend for himself in this rubble quite easily.

Mirial wasn’t exactly a pleasant planet. The dry and cold weather was far different from the temperate one from Caerllion’s homeworld. Another thing that made it less pleasant was the presence of criminals living on it to the point of giving a headache to the Empire. Such a thing would never happen in Annwfyn, the Queen would order their elimination as soon as they appeared.

However, the Empire was interested in doing it right now. This was the reason why Caerllion was here with a Champion. They were going to hunt down these criminals, so they would stop causing problems to the Sith. After all, the Empire would never share control of its planets with such scum.

The Acolyte only wanted his partner to be someone else. He didn’t know this Maelibus Alpha that well, but he was aware of the fame that his species had. The Kaleesh were ruthless barbarians, sometimes acting worse than animals. Caerllion hoped that it would not be a problem for them during this mission.

As soon as they arrived, Maelibus went to kill the criminals. Of course, if the same ferocity was worthy of his species. Caerllion noticed the Kaleesh outfit, better saying the lack of it. The Champion looked like a perfect barbarian that came out of a fantasy holomovie. The Annfyn wondered what the purpose of staying shirtless in the middle of a battle, when he could be easily hit by a shot. Perhaps the Kaleesh was suicidal.

While Maelibus killed the criminals if he was a savage doing a massacre. Caerllion fought in a more graceful way, with fast and precise movements. Something that you would expect from a nobleman. Like the Kaleesh, the Annfyn was silent, with all his attention turned to the criminals that were coming to them. He cut down another guy and waited for the Champion to give the next orders.

The last Imperial shuttle slowly docked into its position alongside the others, coming up to a vacant landing in Public Centre. Exhaust fumes exited from the undercarriage as the vessel secured itself onto the ground, ramp slowly descending and smacking itself into place. Several platoons of Imperial Assault corps stormed down the ramp, engaging immediately with their enemies. The loud sounds of lightsaber hissing could be heard from within the ship's hull, only moments later would the armored figure of Roman Antilles become visible. Grabbed in his durasteel helmet, face completely hidden and a terror inspiring sight; light shimmered off the Sentinel, right grip tightening around the hilt of his weapon as the crimson blade burned brightly. As the commander of this mission, he had elected to come aid his fellow warriors at this clearing.

As Caerllion was fighting, an armed enemy snuck up behind him only to be bisected seconds later by Roman. The two halves splintered from the edges of his saber, collapsing onto the ground near the acolyte's feet. Roman's attention shifted towards Caerllion, a mechanized voice spoke from within the helmet's depths. "You should be better aware of your surroundings...Acolyte." He said in a cold and monotone voice before giving a nod of acknowledgement to the other Champion.

Raising his left hand, he spoke into the comlink with an incoming message. "Yes, Lieutenant..." .... "Sir. We received status that several enemy shuttles are preparing lift off in the adjacent docks. Their position is behind the compound and secured with heavy resistance. We will begin clearing a path..."

"Very well, Lieutenant. We are on our way..."

Roman
turned his head slightly towards Caer, "Maelibus will secure this position for us...our enemies are preparing to flee, we must stop them... Come with me.." He commanded. Lightsaber twirled quickly at the onslaught of incoming blaster fire, blocking and deflecting the bolts back onto their originators. A pulsatile orb of force energy quivered in his left palm, only to be released as a cone of concussive blast onto a squadron of enemy fighters. Their bodies hurled backwards, clearing a path of movement for the two Sith.

@LouJoVi

Sorry for the delay. I've been having serious muse issues with Maelibus, have no desire to write him at this moment. So I'm swapping him out for my main character.

Caerllion was so distracted with the fight that he didn’t notice that one of the criminals was approaching behind him. Only when he saw a flash of red was that the Acolyte turned to look at what had happened. He saw a body split in two while another Sith stood near it.

When he heard the comment of the newcomer, the Annfyn raised an eyebrow. Then, he noticed something behind him. With a flick of his fingers, Caerllion used Korriban magick to snap the neck of a criminal that was trying to sneak behind the other Sith. “I believe that you need to pay attention, too.” he smirked before turning to continue helping Maelibus.

After killing some more criminals, Caerllion saw the new Sith approach them. For his dismay, the man had solicited his help to stop the other troops from arriving. Without any choice, the Annfyn turned to the other Champion and followed him, leaving Maelibus to secure this position alone.

He watched the Champion use the Force to blast an entire squadron of the enemy, cleaning the way for them. “By the way, what is your name?” he said, while walking after the other Sith. If they were going to work together, Caerllion at least wanted to know his name.

Roman wasn't quite one for exchanging pleasantries, but he thought that perhaps Caer had spent a greater deal of time with other Champions such as Asher and Vahliri who were considerably more approachable than he was. And so, he played along. "Roman Antilles, and yours? spoke the armored figure, voice mechanized as it released from the grill of his durasteel helmet. The Champion did not shift his attention fully upon the acolyte, instead remained focused on the path they advanced into. Troopers around them exchanging blaster fire, while Roman himself deflected several incoming bolts back onto their casters.

For those that challenged the Sith in martial combat with vibroswords were dealt with swiftly, using a blend of brutalizing strength and quick strafes and dashes to cut down his opposition. Cascade of body parts littered along the course of their path as the armored champion moved into the opening past the twin corridors. A dark, palpable aura seeped outwards from his flesh, suffocating and clearly distinct in its unholy presence. Eyes flickered into a crimson hue as Roman channeled his rage and hatred; left hand extended outwards and he gestured with his fingertips into a claw like formation.

A force choke applied forth to grasp three enemy soldiers by their throats, hoisting their bodies suspended into mid-air. Rifles fell from their grasps as their hands went to grapple instantly onto their necks. Roman slowly tilted his head into an arrogant angle and spoke. "What is your choice Acolyte? Mercy or Death?..." He asked in regards to the three that were caught in his hold. Would the Acolyte petition to spare their lives or would Caer cut them down himself as they remained helpless? Neither answer was wrong, but Roman would judge him regardless for the choice he would make. It was common knowledge that Roman was arguably the most violent of all the champions and while others thrived in diplomacy, his strength relied on his insatiable bloodlust.
