[Forum Downtime] This Thursday - 18:00

Hi All.

Just a small heads up, The forum will be taken down at roughly 18:00 GMT -1st March. This is for urgent server maintenance work to occur. The downtime could last for as much as 24 hours, but we are aiming for it to last no longer than 12.

The server itself is being rebuilt from scratch, so the database is being backed up & wiped.

From Wednesday Evening (11pm GMT) I will start backing up the website.
I will repeat the backup process 2 more times (Thursday 13:00 GMT, 18:00 GMT). This is to make sure that everything is backed up. On the final backup run, the board will be turned off – and the website will be inaccessible.

As a precautionary measure - I’m going to recommend that posting within the Roleplay ceases from the moment the 2nd backup is taken (Thursday 13.30 GMT).

Just an FYI - We will not be upgrading to vBulletin 4.0 during the downtime - this will come shortly after.

Nope, after the back up we're gonna start a whole new timeline from scratch, another 1000 years into the future, with all new characters, all new technology, and all new everything else.
