The fight was going downhill quickly, and Cardinal knew he needed to get out as fast as possible. Mandalorians never traveled alone, at least that was what Cardinal knew, so he suspected there would be reinforcements to help. Cardinal looked at his friend and ally to see him go down, shot by the Mando's blaster shots. Only one of the two shots fired by the Mando struck the agent. Luckily he wasn't killed and Jay ran to his ship. Now the Mando was Cardinal's problem.

As Cardinal ran, the Mando shot two bolts from his rifle, directed towards his chest. When Cardinal ran, he ran in a zig-zag path to move between the dissipating crowd. The Zig-Zag didn't help much against the bolts. Both bolts hit Cardinal. Both hit his chest, one hitting higher than the other. Because Cardinal was wearing the entire Enforcement armor, minus the helmet, Cardinal didn't die. The bolts hit Cardinal, and he fell to the ground. His chest area hurt a lot, but at least he wasn't dead. However if he was shot another time in the same area he might die. He didn't plan to reach that point.

After a few moments on the ground, Cardinal palms faced in front of him, surrendering style. "I'm not a Sith! I'm a simple crime lord. The Sith Agent was a contact for me! Trust me! I wasn't going to attack you!" Cardinal said through gritted teeth. His chest hurt like heck. Cardinal could feel his mind fading in and out. His vision was blurry. This couldn't be it Cardinal thought. He wasn't going to die this way. Hopefully the Mandolorians would have some compassion somewhere in the metal suit, and show mercy. At least Jay was safe. For now.

Usually, in life-threatening situations Jay learned to control his breathing to slow down his heart just a little bit without medicine. He thought it was healthier this way, avoiding stimulants and drugs. However, this situation prevented thinking.

When Sumas Solus shot Jay he hissed out of shock, but not from the pain. He didn't feel it, or just not yet. He managed to keep running and get really close to his ship.

Jay reached up with one hand to activate his rebreather while he grabbed his CorSec knock out gas grenade and held onto the release. If he went down, it might save him.

When some kind of medic also attacked him that came unexpected. He wasn't looking for trouble anymore clearly, so he had no idea why that happened. Brent's face also seemed familiar to him. Maybe just resembled someone he knew. It didn't matter now, because this time he felt one shot in the chest. His armor protected him from life-threatening injuries, but it had other immediate effects.

Fight or flight kicked in.

Jay released the canister and dropped it at his ship's entrance. He was screaming out loud as he ran up on the ramp and sealed the entrance. The ship took off with the injured Sith Order soldier.

Brent saw the man pass Teran to get to his ship. The fellow Knight did nothing to stop him. So much for stealing the guy's ship. It had been so much fun when Brent had taken that Crusader's ship he would be lying if he said he did not want to repeat it. Recently he had heard the Pureblood had been promoted to Darth. So in a way Brent had stolen a Darth's personal ship and got away with it.

The grenade fell to the ground and Brent had been full tilt running towards his friend to catch up with him. He saw one of his stun bolts strike Jay in the chest but he did not go down. The rest of his bolts went wide because of course they did. Brent did however let his free hand reach out and roll back under the ship where it would not bother anyone. It did not activate immediatly though since it had been put on a timer. The man who closed the ship behind him was probably going to get to starting up the ship about the same time as it activated.

That was that. Brent was not keen on sticking around much longer so he channeled the force into his legs. "Meep meep!" With that said he sped off at a full run even fast than before towards where he remembered a ship resided. Sticking around with all this confusion and violence was not exactly conducive to a healthier working environment for the indentured laborers.

Sumas watched as the mafia boss went down, but sadly his buddy got away. He quickly closed the distance between him and the mafia boss, holding his rifle on the man. The gangster held his hands up, surrendering to him and fighting to stay conscious. "A simple crime lord?" he asked rhetorically with a chuckle. "That's one way to put it." he commented as he slung his rifle onto his back with one hand and drew a pistol with the other.

He kept the barrel on the man's head as he stood over him. He knelt down and patted over the man's attire. He drew a lightsaber -of all things- from the man's jacket. "Curious weapon for a crime lord. Where did you get your hands on this?" he asked him. He was tempted to end the guy for lying, but he decided against it. If he were Sith he would have put up a fight at least.

Deciding that he got nothing better to do, he punched the mafia boss in the face with the glove knocking him out cold. Not needing to stick around anymore, he turned and left to go find his ship. His job was done.

He did give one last glance at one of the medics who was impersonating a legend which was very odd.

Teran knew one thing: attacking random people could be dangerous. He thought there were Sith here, but the Mandalorians seemed to be wiping things up well. Teran had yet to see a saber either, and one of the men was surrendering and and claiming to be a simple criminal. The fact that he was yelling about not being a Sith, however, made him look suspicious for being a Sith...

The other one... well that one had already been shot, was retreating, and Teran still couldn't be sure who or what had happened. Instead, he not to engage and gun down a retreating enemy. Moreover, he didn't want to blow his cover just yet and the Mandalorians clearly had it in hand. As such, Teran moved further away from the fight as what was left of it died down.
