GA Activity?

So, i'm thinking of making a character for the GA. Commando something....something like that. Before I do, i'm wondering, how many GA non-jedi are there? Is it really active at all anymore?

I don't think there's many non-Jedi GA, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't make one. In fact that's all the mor e reason for making one.

I can name three, Lyco, Vareel and Brok Miran all cousins. As far as the commando thing idk... There is only one comando squad but that has gone inactive and it's only six members at a time:/ But you should still make a character:p

That's currently in the process of being revamped BIG time. We're going to have multiple squads of commandos so the more people make the better!

I'm sort of interested in making a squad leader with NPC's...but it'd be better with other people.

It's still being determined but they're not all going to serve the same function, so that's not necessarily going to be a problem.

Galactic Alliance Defense Force is the GA army, I think. So GADF. :p

As for chain-of-command, I think that's something that needs minor fixes. Haven't read that write-up in a while.

You still report to the FL/Grandmaster, we don't have an actual CoS, they're only a NPC at the moment.

The Galactic Alliance and New Jedi Order went through a merge some months back, and removed some of the IC political aspects. Something similar was done in the Sith that excluded the involvement of Moffs and politicians. They're not entirely absent, but don't have as much of a place as they would in a different timeline. Currently, the GA is managed by the Jew Order like the Sith Imperium, where the Grandmaster and Dark Lord are the Faction Leaders.

There's only one non-Jedi Commander in the GA, and that's this guy. Ellen Fields isn't a Jedi but I think she's already been retired.
