Yelona 18, 1,010 ABY: Patient tentatively identified as Gabriella Hawthorne was brought to the institute by local law enforcement after having responded to a shots-fired call on sub-level 52, reportedly a known glit-den. Law enforcement described the conditions in which they found Gabriella as “Unfit for even a Vong masochist.” Patients admittance physical confirmed presence of several narcotics in her system, including glitterstim, ryll, and yarrock. Bloodwork also suggests high midicholorian count, but results are considered inconclusive until patient sufficiently detoxes. Initial interview was informal, however the patient was unresponsive until I began to leave the room, muttering only her name. I will have law enforcement run a check on the name. ~Vircos Roion
Yelona 20, 1,010 ABY: Law enforcement has positively identified Gabriella as the daughter of Najek and Lilartin Hawthorne. The family, consisting of Gabriella, her parents, and a single sister, were presumed dead in 1,002 ABY following a hostage situation in the lower wards. (No bodies were found, as the persons responsible detonated thorium charges, leaving only trace amounts of DNA to identify the dead.) ~Vircos Roion
Relona 7, 1,010 ABY: Gabriella has not spoken since admittance into the institute. She does not resist any requests made of her, simply going through her daily routine in seemingly content making occasional eye contact with other patients and staff. Whenever this routine is interrupted, however, her body language stiffens and her eyes immediately avert themselves. I advise against her having prolonged contact with other patients until she begins to adapt to changing circumstances more easily. ~Vircos Roion

Gabriella sat calmly in her usual chair by the interview room's window as Dr. Vircos Roion entered the room, her eyes focused not outside but on the far wall. Fixing a practiced smile on his face, the doctor slid onto his usual stool, wheeling it over to her and leaning slightly towards her. “Good afternoon, Gabriella.” He said, the same as always.
Her violet eyes flicked towards him, her expression almost imperceptibly softening. This was routine as well, he knew. Routine would dictate he'd sit there asking questions and just talking about his day as she stared into the wall. However, Vircos had no intention of things going routine today, reaching into an inside pocket of his labcoat, he produced a small book, an ancient contraption in these days of digitally streaming media and whole libraries stored on a chip no larger than one's thumbnail.
Slowly reaching over, he placed it on her lap, “That's for you, Gabriella. Alderaani poetry, one of my favorite volumes when I was your age.” He didn't tell her that the book contained pieces written within the century following the planet's destruction, nor the fact that many of them were discovered being continuously transmitted by miniature com buoys placed in the planet's remains.
Gabriella stared blankly at the book a few moments, before gingerly picking it up. Watching her slowly flip through it, Vircos' smile widened. They sat there, Vircos idly talking as Gabriella sat absorbed in the book. After what seemed like ages, the room's door slid open, a nurse stepping in. “Gabriella, it's time for dinner.” she said with a smile, throwing a sideways glance to the doctor, an unspoken admonishment for not managing his time better.
He stood slowly, moving over to the door as the nurse approached Gabriella, gently closing the book. “That looks interesting, Gabriella. You'll have to show it to me after dinner.” Following the nurse's urging to rise, she started to follow the nurse out of the room, clutching the book to her chest.
Vircos opened his mouth as if to speak, but stopped as Gabriella suddenly halted beside him. Quickly grasping a handful of his labcoat, she fixed her amethyst eyes on the doctor.
“As I walk down the hall,
footsteps pitter-patter as they fall,
Simple kindness always found,
Ever since I left those underground.”
The words came in stuttered measure, but that wasn't captured the doctor's attention. As he stared down at the beaming smile she gave him, he reached over and grasped her hand. “You'll always be safe here, Gabriella.”

Relona 20, 1,010 ABY: Following the events of Relona 8, Gabriella as began speaking more frequently. However two oddities remain, she refuses to speak about anything before she came to the institute and when she does speak, she does so only in verse. Further attempts to resolve either issue have failed. I am however allowing Gabriella to begin taking her meals and spending play time in the common areas of the facility with other children. Hopefully interaction with children her own age will encourage more normal behavior.
Welona 2, 1010 ABY: Gabriella continues to improve, often smiling as she speaks about her time spent with the other patients. She still speaks in verse however, and we are unable to get her to speak about her time before the institute. Her odd speech patterns have not impeded her ability to interact with others, but do seem to draw negative attention from patients her own age. Her midi-cholorian counts have remained high through her time her, and I have requested a Jedi come to confirm the status of her suspected force sensitivity. Given the recent tensions between the Empire and the Alliance, I do not expect one for several months at least. ~Vircos Roion
Elona 12, 1011 ABY: A Jedi Padawan arrived today as requested. I am quite pleased with the expedience the Jedi showed in getting someone out here. I can tell the Padawan is inexperienced, but he tells me that sensing the potential of an untrained individual is a fairly simple task. As the Padawan slid into a meditation stance in front of Gabriella, she slid out of her chair to mimic it. Drawing a slight chuckle for the Padawan, he began to explain to her the basics of mediation, asking that she try to use them. As she closed her eyes, the Padawan placed his hand at the side of her face. For several long moments they sat like this, unti-

Elona 12, 1011 ABY: Patient Gabriella Hawthorne is missing. At approximately 1300 Coruscant Standard time, a scream, accompanied by a focused telekinetic and telepathic burst, was heard throughout the facility, reportedly originating from within Interview Room 2C, where Gabriella, Dr. Roion, and Padawan **Name Redacted** had been. Staff throughout the facility heard the scream, though those furthest from the origin claimed it seemed to be coming from “within their head”. Closer to the epicenter symptoms ranged from nose bleeds to hairline bone fractures. Dr Roion and Padawan **Name Redacted** were removed from the facility in critical condition. Gabriella is currently considered missing. As of now, law enforcement is looking in the possibility of a Sith abduction attempt. ~Security Chief Lupine
