It had been a while since I'd been here last, shortly after I left the force. A ramshackle place, poking out the back end of a Deadalus Ally like it wasn't even there. A shabby door, metallic with a little sliding view-port at the top, leading into the place I would call home. Galactic Security Solutions, or GSS for short. An ambitious name for a company run by an ambitious group of people. Most called us 'Sneaks', we called ourselves 'Private Investigators'. Between us, our motley gang made up some of the best members of Policing and Military Agencies across the Galaxy, yet some how we had all ended up here, spending most of our time looking for wayward husbands, debt defaulters, or background checking employees.

But one day, that all changed, when an old man - a Count something from Serrenno - walked into the Office. Hell, he looked uncomfortably being there, one of the guys later joked that he wasn't sure if the Count was going t turf us out on our ear, or take one of us in as a long lost son. We all have our dreams. Anyway, I digress. The Count had come for a reason, to get the man he held accountable for the death of his son - but he didn't want him dead, he wanted the bastard behind bars, so nobody else would suffer like he had.

Of course, that wasn't the only big name in town that day, 'cos I'd spotted me something fine on the Holonet, and I'm talking about the vids. Prudii Kyramund, some sort of Bounty Hunter, appeared to have gotten himself a Bounty in just about every sector and Government. He was our sort of target, violent, ruthless, and maybe a bit dim. I had a chat with the team, to see if anyone fancied trying to get him behind bars for good.

Welcome to GSS, the best in Private Investigating this side of Muunilist!

Following a wee chat with @Loco this story Arc will serve as practice area for a forthcoming 'Cops and Robbers' faction next timeline. Those wishing to sign-up as a detective need only make a brief character sheet for a new character, with basic information, and have them as a member of GSS - a private investigation partnership on the Deadalus.

The premise of the story is above, but in short, Mar Kreeta (one of my Characters) sold bombs to someone that then where used on Serrenno by terrorist/resistance groups. In the explosion, the Counts Son died. We will be required to gain sufficient proof that Mar Kreeta can be linked to this, over a large Story Arc!

Alongside that we have Prudii Kyramund also up for grabs, having been the target of Bounties from the Cartel, and wanted by other groups as well.

At present there is only one thread planned for each target, and that will be an initial meeting of the PI's to discuss the mission, and get a plan in order! Both arcs will feature my character (and @Loco if he wants to hop in) as the 'Project Managers' for the missions, to provide some continuity (aka: One of us will set up the planning thread and guide people through it, but then - it's up to the team!).

Just as a note, I would recommend keeping things as focused and straightforward as possible here, and to not take too much time deliberating. It'll be really nice to take this idea for a test run and see how we might go about gathering evidence and tracking fugitives in the RP environment. I'm down to help you guys out however I can!

The plan at present is to have a social thread to get the team together, and make a plan - maybe in 2-3 pages of posts (with a quick posting order), before breaking people of into pairs or small groups to go off and actually start tracking down Mar and Prudii.

The story will be very much driven by the objectives and methods of the individual PI's themselves, under the steering and direction of my chap (to stop things getting to confused). I'll keep an overall eye on how the things progress, with my character being accessible via commlink in the actual investigation threads to provide advice.

Make a plan, gather evidence, track them down, try and catch them!

I'll have Donathon go after Mar. Prudii as well if we don't have enough people. As far as reasons for hunting Prudii, use the events of KES, The gift that keeps on giving, as his most recent crimes.

I'll hunt Prudii with the character I'll create this weekend.

I'll have Troy take down Mar Kreeta. And like prudence, if we don't have enough people, I'll send him up against Prudii as well.

That leaves us now with 2 people signed up to the Mar case, alongside Ecclesey after the weekend, and the wonderful me as a Case Manager.

Sign-Ups are of course still open, and on Monday I shall be setting up the OPEN thread.

While I won't be able to participate full time, I'll volunteer to run any support NPCS needed. I've done investigative work, so I've got a pretty good grasp of realistic capabilities and creative options for the investigators that they could get from such personnel, but you guys have to ask! Just tag me in a post if you guys need anything or have questions.

So i think im going to throw my Gand findsman, Szazak, in to this. He will go after Prudii. Cant really be bothered to make a new character when he already exists and will fit the role quite nicely.

Troy and Donathen are sittin in a room with the case manager. Case manager gives them the leads and sends them on their way? Then we try and catch Mar Kreeta? Or well gather evidence to put him behind bars?

Loco will be NPCing the main NPCs and then other then that it's just me and Prudence. Right?

As for how it will work, there will be a planning thread - which will act as the 'office'. We qualm decide what needs to be done, and plan the case as it develops until we are confident we have enough to make an arrest. The planning thread will be for both cases, and shall remain active as the case develops for people to return to the office and continue the plan.

I also may move people onto the Mar case, from Prudii, if it is needed - especially if more people are needed to lock him up and investigate!

So it could last three threads, or ten!
