DESCRIPTION​

Where simple, utilitarian vehicles like the Pan-Galactic Power Products LK-4000 are what the general public tends to think of when they hear the term speeder bike, the General Repulsor C100XXX is the image that comes to mind when they think of a swoop. Little more than a massive engine with a seat and a set of controls added almost as an afterthought, the C100XXX - commonly known as the "Triple X" - is a vehicle produced by the General Repulsor Corporation, a major manufacturer of all kinds of repulsorcraft.

The flagship product of General Repulsor's Swoop & Jumpspeeder division, the C100XXX has a "bad boy" reputation, having appeared in countless holodramas as the mount of villains and anti-heroes, an association which has led to the Triple X being sold as a "rebel's machine," even though it is actually one of the best selling sport swoops currently on the market. Compared to many other swoops, the C100XXX is a fairly bulky, heavy, inefficient and generally unrefined design; it has heavy durasteel bodywork, weighing it down, with only brute force turbine grunt giving it a place in the same performance bracket as the likes of the Ikasawak ZM and the BN9 "Red Witch." It is often referred to as the "Heavy X" by its critics.

Despite its popularity with "casual" swoopers, and its deficiencies both real and perceived, the C100XXX is still a well made swoop, and can thrash atmo through its turbine with the best of them. It can reach speeds of up to 350 kph, carry 25 kilograms of cargo and even seat a single passenger, albeit with fairly intimate accommodations.
