The Kuat Drive Yards were the greatest shipbuilding facilities ever known in Galactic History for the Republic. It’s shipyards circle the planet in an unending ring, building vessels for the Republic Navy. But that was in its heyday. Now, the same issue of pirates which have struck several other shipyards has struck Kuat. The Drive Yards have been infested with pirates, and now Bretharr has been called to deal with the situation. Something he’s done before. Quite a bit before... On his shuttle with 6 marines, armed and armoured with standard issue equipment and a flashbang each, and himself with standard naval uniform and his trusty uniform, he would try and contact his comrade in the mission. A Senator... He sighed. Hopefully she wasn’t completely useless

Primula Peyvand was aboard her diplomatic shuttle on its way to subjugate and negotiate the surrender of pirates. Along with her were her 6 fighter escorts each one an RX starfighter. She was wasn't too happy about being sent into a combat zone but thankfully that's what her escort was for. Along with the marines on the other ship.

They were going to be attacking the ground forces while her escort would deal with anything that happened to come at her in the air while she waited for it to be cleared and the negotiations could begin.

Bretharr would report
“Distract the pirates, and make sure we get a clean landing. We don’t want to make things as difficult as they already are” he reported, as the ship which the marines were on landed. As they landed, the door came down, and he ordered the marines out
“Move Move!!” As he and the marine rushed out, firing their blasters. There were 7 pirates waiting, but a marine threw one of their flashbangs, stunning the majority of them and so the marines quickly shot the 5 stunned pirates. However, 2 were unaffected, and so they continued to fight back, firing. The marines soon all concentrated fire on these 2 pirates. He reported back
“Senator, 2 out of 7 pirates remain, but it is practically clear.”

Primula shuttle was shot down before they could do anything. Thankfully she survived

He waited for the Senator to land. He looked out of the hangar, and saw the shuttle try to avoid fire from the pirates until he saw the shuttle get shot down
That’s just brilliant. So the Senator was... Somewhere. Whether alive or not, Bretharr sighed, and ordered his marines to finish off the pirates.

Prim shook her head as she woke up. Apparently there was some sort of anti air turret around that had gone unnoticed. She was more mad that the friggin military wasn't doing more to keep her safe and was sure to write a report about it. Assuming she survived long enough.

She got on the comms and began to scream at the pilots to do their parking jobs which they did. Immediately flying down on the base and lighting it up with concussion missles and the like. She told them not to worry about anything else except keeping her safe at the moment so they just did an all out attack on anything that moved. She grabbed her stun pistol along with her vibrosword and got ready for a fight, exiting the still smoking craft and firing three rounds into a pirate that had come to investigate the crashed ship.

“Senator!” He shouted as he came rushing over.
“You need a medic, marine!” He ordered and a marine came rushing over.
“Treat her. And guard our escape route.” He said, before moving down with the rest of the marines. Hopefully it wasn’t a very big station, and he could quickly get this job done. He marched with 5 of the marines to the next corner, and turned it. He saw there was very few pirates to face, barely 3, and so he silently ordered all his marines to stack up on the wall. Then, they all popped out of cover, and began blasting the pirates.

Prim furrowed her eyes at the medic trying to come towards her. She had all but lost her patience with this already and thus was the straw that broke the camel's back to be sure. She gritted her teeth at the lieutenant before shouting back.

Obviously I'm fine standing here uninjured! Maybe if you military types had two brain cells to rub together you d maybe go check on the shuttle pilot!

With that she grabbed her comlink while the soldiers did whatever it was they were doing, she didn't care. She got on the line with the fighter escort again and told then to make a secondary attack on the area directly in front of her location.

She watched as the six fighters came flying back overhead and spotted her. They leveled up as best they could at the target area but small arms fire from the pirates caused them to slightly misjudge where they were shooting and they aimed down a bit too low with the missiles. She watched all six missiles scatter the area, not doing much damage at all. She could see one pirate had been instantly engulfed in flames as she watched from the safety of the access door to the shuttle. Unfortanetly for the lieutenant one of his soldiers was caught in the blast as well and she could hear his screams of pain as she looked back out as the final missle hit and killed another one of the marines. She shook her head and cursed under her breath. She really was just having the worst luck today wasn't she?

She got back on the comlink and told the pilots to circle around again but to stay in a defensive formation around her, just in case any more surprises happened to come along.

As he engaged the few pirates in his way, he turned round. You had got to be joking him. Screw the Senate, and screw the Senator. He shouted
“That’s it I’ve had enough! Senator your role in this operation, active role is over. Your fighters will not get anywhere near this vessel and do not order any more airstrikes! Marine. Make sure she doesnt do a thing without me knowing it!” Before continuing to fire. The medic was bewildered at this sudden burst of fury, understandable but bewildered. He said
“Senator please, don’t do a thing more.”

Meanwhile, the marines continued to mass their fire. However, the pirates continued to fight back, hitting 2 marines in the arm, and hitting on other in the leg. However, the marine managed to hit all 3 pirates as well, forcing them to retreat.
“Continue to push forward!” Bretharr urged before marching forward

Primula rolled her eyes and told her fighters to remain in the area, if they didn't want to get ambushed from behind it was the only smart thing to do after all. She started to make her way out of the shuttle when the medic attempted to get in her way and so she did the only reasonable thing she could think of, she slapped him. The man looked even more stunned now and just stood there for a moment before stepping aside, rubbing his cheek.

As the last of the pirates, or what they thought were pirates were attacked and killed she spotted what looked to the last remaining few waiting for them just off to their right. Well she hadn't come here to fight she had come here to talk, so she got to talking and negotiating, if it could be called that afterall.

Alright, your soldiers are already dead, if you don't surrender now I will order air strike after air strike until all of you have been eliminated.

Well, it obviously didn't go over well when she saw a blaster bolt get fired over her head. She paused and waited for any other reply but none came. Well trying again she thought.

The republic military currently has you all surrounded, if you don't give up now, I promise you I'll be the last friendly one you see!

Instead of firing, thankfully, the leader of the group came out and took off his helmet. She wasn't sure why, until he asked if they were really republic forces around. She had a feeling that they might have been former republic and she had innocently hit a soft spot, lucky enough for her.

I can negotiate the terms of your surrender now if you wish? No need for any one else to die afterall.

Bretharr would return, with the marines, rushing towards the Senator.
“Senator, what are you doing?” He asked, before looking round, seeing the pirates surrendering. The marine who had been slapped by the Senator informed him of everything, including the pirate’s question. So he spoke up
“I am Lieutenant Bretharr Bargall of the Republic Navy, with 5 marines at my back. Identify yourselves!”
