Imperial Bounties & Hit List

Goth King, Velgato
Description: Velgato claims to be Templar King of Tae’Sha, something Juuni Viinn Jho extorts by taking advantage of the denizens of Tae’Sha. However, according to records, Velgato is not related to the Templar King. When authorities went after him, Velgato’s royal guard defended him.
Notes: Velgato has Force sensitivity and can use some basic Force powers. His guards will need to be dealt with first.
Recommended Hunters: Soldiers, Force users
Last Sighting: Authorities last saw Velgato taking sanctuary in one of the old temples on Tae’Sha.
Proof: Retrieve Velgato's fake Templar crown.
Difficulty: Average

The sleek black ship slipped effortlessly through hyperspace, heading towards one of the most inaccessible regions of the Galaxy; the Deep Core. Here, inwards beyond even the Core Worlds, tightly-packed star clusters whirled around a massive black hole, with scatterings of antimatter in the voids between the stars. The high number of stellar objects, star collisions and the gravitational field of the galactic black hole made astrogation extremely difficult - unless one had the Force to help.

The beautiful woman sat in the pilot's seat, eyes closed as she used the Force to sense the way to the Deep Core worlds, especially the one she was seeking, Tae'Sha in the Alsakan system. The ability known as instinctive astrogation was one that Zarinia had trained herself to achieve after learning of its existence from a source on Yavin IV. There were many variables, many permutations from which one had to sift the correct coordinates, the right approach to avoid the hazards of the region.

The ship suddenly dropped from hyperspace into normal space, and a planet swam into view in the viewscreen, a world of greens and blues, or woodlands, grasslands, oceans and lakes. Tae'Sha, their target world. Down there, in a temple complex, was her prey; Velgato, the self-proclaimed Templar King. Its ID code purporting to be that of a courier vessel from Coruscant, the sleek black ship angled down towards the capital city's spaceport.

Walter entered the cock-pit as the ship began to touch down onto the capital city's space port. He eyed the Sith Arcanist with a certain level of respect, he had not said a word to her the whole trip and decided that with the mission about to start he had better establish some kind of communication.

"Tae'Sha is a planet unknown to me, any idea on where Velgato is most likely to be hiding?"

"I'm not surprised you know little about the planet, it's not one that many people ever visit - even Imperial intelligence have few files on the world. The whole population is said to be under five million, and live in just a handful of cities. As to whether the old temples, one of which is where Velgato was spotted going into hiding, are in the cities or outside - that we will find out when we land."

Their initial work would be to find out about the planet before they made any move after Velgato; it would be no good frightening the fake Templar King into going deep under cover, they would have to be inconspicuous in their investigation. The Templars were a religious order, much like the hated Jedi, but it was not clear if they were Force users or not, so they would need to keep a low profile - at least until they had their target in their sights.

"We are masquerading as traders from Coruscant, which gives us an excuse to ask questions whilst there. I doubt that either the Alliance or the Jedi have many people there - this place is too hard to reach easily - but be on the lookout, and keep your head down at first."

The ship continued its descent to the sparsely inhabited world below.

Population under five million?

Walter could scarcely believe it, would this make finding Velgato easier or perhaps pose more unknown challenges? His investigative techniques were limited, thus he hoped Velgato was a poor plater of hide-and-seek as a child, or that The Arcanist was prepared and able to follow leads and find clues.

"...be on the lookout, and keep your head down at first." Walted had heard the rest of what she said, but that was what stuck, that was an order he could follow - maintaining a low profile was something he had experience in.

"Alright"

Walter spoke his mind quite often, and quite often there was naught much to say.

The ship dropped lower, and the Sith Alchemist opened her Force senses to the impressions of the planet below. There was a strong Force presence about the world, one that spoke of peace and serenity, of Nature devoid of aggression due to the perverting power of the Light Side. The natural balance of life and death had been upset over generations until serenity, not the struggle for survival permeated the planet. Yet she could sense no great Force users below - strange.

Perhaps they moved on long ago, or whoever did this are few in numbers; we'll see when we arrive.

The ship approached the starport and settled down on the landing pad that it had been directed to. "We will go to the main commercial hub, wherever it is, and find out what we can about this planet whilst acting as if we're scouting out a potential new market." She got up from the pilot's seat and went to change into clothing that wouldn't reveal her Sith affiliations.
