Many factors go into determining one's rank. For example, he is 29 years old. Had he been an experienced member he would have gotten a higher rank due to his age. However, because he is a new character, he recieved the rank of Sergeant as anything less would have been odd for a 29 year old. In your case, Darman, I hadn't seen you in any battles or anything so, because of your characters age of 26, I gave you the rank of Corporal. Because you're a fairly experienced member at this point, all you have to do is participate in some missions and such and you'll be promoted fairly quickly.

Basically, the age of your character is very important in determining his/her rank.

So...that makes no sense then...Kavir joined at 21 now is 36...that is 12 years...I am only a Captain...hmm...now there is something fishy about that...since Kurt's character as he just said is 26...is a major while another "person" ten years older is only a captain...I am not complaining...remember that...I just want an explanation
