Hi Everyone,

My name is Tom and I am new to play by post RPG's but love star wars. Your community looks amazing and I am excited to join. I do have a lot of questions though.

1. Is there an actual system for this role play or is everything purely narrative?
2. I have an idea for a Sector Ranger but noticed the faction is archived what should I do?
3. How do credits and xp work?

To answer your questions:

1. Things here are driven from a purely narrative perspective, yes. You can read about all the guidelines and rules in the Role-Play Rules thread.

2. Since the faction is archived, you won't be able to make a character for it. The only way to do so would be if the faction was un-archived for some reason. Generaly speaking though, once a faction has been archived there's little chance of it returning. It can happen, but if the member base is no longer interested (or able) in supporting it, chances are it will remain archived.

3. Credits are largely a moot point. Some people make use of them for a little extra immersion in their roleplay, others don't. As for XP, you don't gain XP points towards a "level up". Characters are promoted within factions based on merit: meaning their performance in duels/battles and their overall contributions to the faction itself.
