Guerillas in the Mist (Rugbyprop87, JM76, Deakr Cueve, Durane)

"If you need me I'll be in that store there" Deakr said pointing to a building. from the outside it looked like it sells various food supplements.
"It'll just be till you guys get back" he said as he started walking in that direction.

Within a matter of seconds, Durane was left alone with his partner for the mission. It seemed they were both new to the army, but that didn't sway the man's confidence. Their mission was simple enough; they were to scope out the defenses surrounding the senators in the enemy's base. So, with one last assurance to himself, they would set out.

"You ready, Remiel?"

"Of course," Remiel said. "Let's move."

And with that, Remiel walked ahead, heading for the Upper District and the Senate buildling.

Mathius was sitting at the bar, not paying attention to anything. In the back of his mind however, he knew at any moment a Galatic Intelligence Agent could come up by behind him and kill him. Mathius had noticed three Twi'lek females dancing in the open space near the bar, but did not pay attention enough to look them over. After the band leader announced the band was taking a break, Mathius felt someone slip into the seat next to him. Turning he came face to face with one of the Twi'leks a red one that was dancing. She was very attractive and motioned the bar keep to get her a drink. Mathius paid the bar keep for the drink and the Twi'lek slipped him a data pad. Mathius left some currency on the bar and walked out.

Walking out of the store with his edible purchase, Deakr saw that Mathius was doing the same. He walked over to Mathius. he held out the bag and said and said "Portaak leafs, very expensive off world. Cooked over lammas wood but i like them raw"
He took some out and took a bight from them. after he swallowed he said"From what I can tell from your body heat you found an attractive female. Am I right?"

Mathius waved his hand to Deakr, saying no to the food.

"Yeah, well you trowl the bars around the Lower Levels long enough, you find some good looking females. Anyways, I know who the target is and when everyone gets back weou guys can take a look at the datapad."

Durane nodded and took off with Reimel. He merely followed the man,for he had no idea how to get around here. The private had never been off his home planet until recently, and Coruscant was almost a polar opposite. It was all hustle and bustle, the busiest of the busy planets. So, silently, he let the Captain lead the way.

Mathius waved his hand to Deakr, saying no to the food.

"Yeah, well you trowel the bars around the Lower Levels long enough, you find some good looking females. Anyways, I know who the target is and when everyone gets back you guys can take a look at the datapad."

"I wouldnt know because i only get attracted by a female every two standard years." Deakr said to Mathius. " I also cant read font because of my blindness but i can see organic being's heat signatures and blood flows. That's how I get around."
He took another bite from his leaf and swallowed. "Are you sure you don't want one? They're good."

Durane nodded and took off with Reimel. He merely followed the man,for he had no idea how to get around here. So, silently, he let the Captain lead the way.

The Captain proceeded through the Coruscant underbelly without a word, not bothering to turn around and make sure Durane was following him. He looked like a good soldier, so he was sure he wouldn't mess anything up.

After leading the way a good deal, Remiel and his ally reached the Senate building. The entire building, in its grandeur and majesty, was under extremely heavy guard; the Supreme Chancellor had been assassinated here not to long ago.

"What do you see, Durane?"

"Well, first off, obviously, it's guarded pretty well. Unusually well. It could help to create a distraction, or take the suits of a couple guards to breach their defenses."

"No Im good, I had a couple drinks at the bar waiting for our contact."

Mathius motioned to Deakr and they went back into the Inn. After getting to the room Mathius told Deakr what was on the data pad he received.

"Alright Deakr, this data pad contains information on our mission. The target is a Devaronian Senator named Gymwooken Shmo, typical of Devaronians this senator is of the female variety. Senator Shmo is the one who has put the order out to comandeer Alsakan equipment and vessels. The planet Devaron is along the Corellian Trade Route so drop off of the stolen equipment is not noticable to some. Our mission is to take her out. I will take the shot, using dissolveable poison rounds. They will not trigger death instantly, you and the squad will take turns tailing the target until she is dead. The poision should take affect after 8-10 hours of being introduced to the target. Got it?"

 

[JM76]

"Indeed. I don't think we'll able to get close enough to infiltrate the building, but I see no reason why we can't snipe them from here. If we can figure when our target begins to leave the Senate building, it could make this easier..."

Remiel pondered their situation for a moment. "Go ahead and send all the information we have to HQ."

 

[Gabora]

"Yea yea, i got it" Deakr said pulling the last leaf from his bag.
"when are you going to pull the trigger? and will the dart be traceable to us?" He asked eagerly
Deakr really wanted to go to the Jedi temple and see how his old home was.

 

[Barrill]

"Indeed. I don't think we'll able to get close enough to infiltrate the building, but I see no reason why we can't snipe them from here. If we can figure when our target begins to leave the Senate building, it could make this easier..."

Remiel pondered their situation for a moment. "Go ahead and send all the information we have to HQ."

"I see, perhaps you're right. But wouldn't it make more sense to station ourselves in a window or roof of another building?"

"Yes, though we need to find one with a direct line-of-fire so we avoid any civilians and unnecessary causalities."

Remiel knew there probably was a building of that nature nearby, but he couldn't identify any from his current position.

"Yea yea, i got it" Deakr said pulling the last leaf from his bag.
"when are you going to pull the trigger? and will the dart be traceable to us?" He asked eagerly
Deakr really wanted to go to the Jedi temple and see how his old home was.

"The shot will be taken in a couple of days. It should not be traceable to any Alsakan. This is why I am taking the shot and the rest of you are just tailing the target. I am using a dissovable poison dart. If I get caught with the gun etc etc, I am not Alsakan and I am not a mercenary, I will be tried for the assasination but Alsakan will not be implicated. If you guys get caught tailing the target, you will be charged as spies. During a cease-fire, spies that are caught get imprisoned and then traded for there counterparts. So we should be good. Did we recieve any intel from the others yet?"

Mathius closed his eyes. It was almost time for the others to come back around.

"the others are a few clicks that way" He said pointing.
"I'm going to see a place I lived in a wile back."
Deakr started to walk in the direction as the Jedi temple and then said "my com is always on if you need me."

 

[Barrill]

"Yes, though we need to find one with a direct line-of-fire so we avoid any civilians and unnecessary causalities."

Remiel knew there probably was a building of that nature nearby, but he couldn't identify any from his current position.

Durane nodded and began to look around. He saw a building with a good amount of small windows. It was large, too, and nearby the senate building. This building was exactly what the two Alsakans were looking for.

"How about that one?" As he said this, Durane nodded towards the building he was talking about. He knew that the Captain would know which one he was speaking of.

"Looks good. Perfect vantage point, small enough shooting space, large area to escape undetected. Perhaps we should be getting back; I'm sure they are expecting us," Remiel muttered.

Leaping from his position atop the roof, Remiel landed on the tough pavement nearby. Waiting for his legs to become use to the pain caused by the imminent shock, the Captain began to head toward the underworld again in the long trek back to their apartment.

Durane nodded and took step behind Reimel. That was an easy task.
