Go is bleh: to me, it is a bit boring. Territory claims? Concentrate too hard on one sector and you lose more territory than you gain. At least in shogi I can concentrate more on my entire army (assuming it is on the standard 9x9 board) than on a 24x24 board (randomly generated number).
