Ren heard the message, and nodded. Rendezvous at Korriban. Coruscant is indeed lost to us. Ren turned, leaving the defence in the capable hands of Brigadier Wilkes. She retreated to her ship, the small, grey, functional vehicle rising, and blasting out to space on the opposite side to the huge battle. She set the co-ordinates, and blasted to hyperspace

The Red shadows cheered. They raised their skull-helmeted forms, and let out a cry. ''U-ZUL!!!'' It was repeated over and over. Vàli commed the captain. ''Bring us into drop range, Mr. Poppleopacus. Let's show them the true meaning of fear''. He turned to his squad, and opened the coffin-like TIP. He closed the door, and felt the heavy bolts slam in place, and the interior became pressurised. He felt the TIP slide along the rails, into firing position.

The Blind watchman strapped his sword across his front, and stepped into the mildly padded interior. He saw the doors close, and heard heavy bolts bang into position. He looked as the small schematics screen flashed to life. He was moved into position, ready to fly...

Lukor ran deep into the city, looking for the speeder he left hidden for his escape. Coming close to his target, Lukor suddenly stood frozen in his tracks. His head turned to the skies where his eyes flickered at the familiar presence.

"A disturbance... I have not felt this presence since..."

Shaking it off, Lukor mounted his speeder and took off for his ship.

Tapping the small earpiece that linked him to the men and women under his command, he opened a broadcast channel to all the ships, troops and warriors of the Crusade.

To arms! The enemy fleet is withdrawing, we take this fight to the ground!

Entering one of the few launch bays of the Behemoth, he quickly found himself a single man fighter, and powered the small, fast craft up. Powering out of the bay, and into space, he piloted the small craft directly towards the city-planet of Coruscant.

Hundreds of troops that had waited patiently in holds followed him, in dropships, and larger ships. By the time Rogal made planetfall, almost all of his troops would already have deployed. All eighty one thousand of them, working in innumerable types of patterns and assault formations. Every single one of them armed for city based fighting, and under orders to take no prisoners.

A single Sith could not be allowed to remain standing at the end...

Vàli whooped as the pod was fired. The black, coffinlike 'vessel' fell to the planet, the front of a great mass of such pods, all firing from the broadside. As was custom, he was first. The pod screamed toward the atmosphere, the base glowed red, and Vàli felt the heat grow. He didn't care, he was looking forward to the battle. He wouldn't need his hipflask in this one... plenty of stuff on the ground....

* * *

The watchman felt the pod come into the atmosphere, and heard two dull thumps as radar chaff was exploded out from the sides. The Sith troops would not see a few thousand small TIP's, but hundreds of thousands. The AA guns hit no pods, taking down the chaff by mistake.

* * *

Vàli's TIP hit the ground, leaving a small crater. Sith troopers circled it cautiously, guns raised. Vàli saw them through the screen, and smiled. Now, it was time to unlock all controls. He whispered. ''Project 626. Authorisation code:JUDGEMENT. Unlock all levels.'' Vàli smiled as the technology embedded in him began to work. He burst the TIP, the sides hitting and killing some of the Sith. What they saw was no longer a man. It was a daemon. Vàli's eyes glowed red, and his fangs were bared in a predatory smile. He leapt forward, his claw ripping open one's head, decapitating another's with a kick, and taking down the others with his fangs. Blood gushed down his chin, and he smiled. He let out a bloodcurdling scream of triumph, and his five other elite troopers joined him, cellular disruptor rifles ready.

* * *
The Blind Watchman touched down, kicking the 'coffin' open, a dead man rishing from his grave. He drew his sword, finding himself before a platoon. His comrades were with him, and the looked to each other. The Red Shadows roared, the equipment in their helmet making a banshee wail, and the watchman charged, jumping up and into the centre of the mass of screaming men, the front ranks dissolving as their cellular functions ceased, and extreme lysis took effect. The watchman stabbed his sword down, exploding the force out, and killing all in a five foot raidus. He charged, roaring a battlecry. ''LEAVE NONE TO TELL THE TALE!!''

The mercenary, his name being Kuuki, watches as the battle descends upon the planet from his hidden sanctuary. He gives a sigh: there is still hope for me. He then notices a Sith patrol jogging in his direction. There is no use in fighting them in this situation: the mercenary remained hidden as they pass by.

Rogal landed his small craft, leaping out and drawing his black hilted lightsaber, ready to use it, but not yet ignited.

Scanning the surrounding area, a deserted square with a large fountain at its center, both with his eyes and the force, he found no immediate threat. He began to jog through the streets, which remained empty. It was almost too quiet.

He rounded another corner, to meet a group of Sith. He grinned instantly, and one was already dead, his head a good three meters from his body before the others even noticed him. Another two had fallen, their chests slashed open, alive but not for long. The last man regarded him with terror, just as the Sith on Dantooine had.

This time, he would not fail.

His blade whooshed back into the hilt, the glowing black blade merging once more with the midnight black hilt. Relief flooded the soldiers eyes, as the thought struck him that he was to receive mercy.

Where is your operational command?

His tone was layered with the force. Even if the man was willing to surrender the information for his life, he would no have a choice.

"That way!" His arm flicked up, almost involuntarily, pointing back down the street. The way Rogal had been going anyway.

Good.

The man dropped dead, his heart crushed.

Rogal sent a quick message to Hauron, informing the blind man of his location, and the direction he was heading. Then, he began to run once more.

This battle wound be over very soon.

The blind watchman picked up the message, and made to rendezvous with Rogal. He jumped down from the pile of corpses he crested, and sought his position. Soon, they were together again. ''Let's finish this, old chum'' He said with a smile.

A daemon walked the streets of Coruscant. It's red glowing eyes glared upon those for judgement from the flash of its gun, or the rend of a claw. It's maw was slathered in the red lifeblood of its enemies. It smiled.

4 stood behind, wearing black skull helms. They knew better than to bother the Nosferatu when in this state. Eventually, safety lockdown would be achieved. The group made their way to the Operational command of the Sith battleforce, as if following a scent.

As his speeder flew through the city, Lukor could not shake the feeling of the force presence that had so disturbed him. Tapping into his wrist communication device, Lukor sent the signal to the mechanic droids to ready his ship. Turning the direction of his speeder, Lukor followed the force signature that had so pained him.

Lets.

The pair began to run, the way Rogal had been already been going. They were getting closer, Rogal could feel the energies of a large number of tainted people. No doubt, this was where they would find the Sith's command for this area. Then, they would head for the Sith Headquarters - The Imperial Palace.

Rogal could sense a more powerful presence, one that he recognised. From a long time ago.

Lukour. Lukour Haulder, his one time apprentice.

A wicked grin broke his face. He had been looking forwards to this for a long time. Lukor was getting closer fast, and they were getting closer to the command. He didn't want to have to take on Lukour and a whole bunch of Sith soldiers all at once.

Stop! Wait here a second...

Slowing the speeder, Lukor left the engine running. The heels of his boots smacked against the ground with a thick thud, followed by the tapping of his footsteps. Now closing in on his opponent, Lukor recognized the signature; Rogal Natharn. His eyebrows twitched once and the shadowed eyelids of his bloodshot eyes closed half as a sign of relaxation; there was no rush into this little confrontation.

Hauron stopped, and turned. He could see the aura of another approaching. A Sith. ''I'm guessing you know this cretin?'' He asked, helding his sword lightly.

I do.

Rogal's reply was quiet and quick.

Do me a favour, Hauron? Hide.

Rogal wanted to kill Haulder himself. The man had been his responsibility, and he had helped create the monster. It was only right that he be the one to destroy it. He would call upon Hauron if he had to, but Haulder was a Sith Knight at best by now. Rogal had been a Sith lord. This fight would be short, and vicious.

HAULDER! Stop skulking around and come fight me!

Rogal roared down the empty streets, in the direction he knew Lukour was approaching from.

''As you insist.'' Hauron made a hand signal to his men, and vaulted up the building to a balcony. The others followed via grapple. He turned to them. ''So, who brought the Schnapps?'' He smiled as the group laughed, and he turned to look down on the brewing fight.
