I'm new to this site and haven't really been able to RP very much. I debate things when I'm bored and I've read over what I've posted and get the feeling a few of you may be upset with me. Just getting a gauge of this is all.

Well, to be honest, you just need to understand that your perspective on things may not be the perspective of others. Take for example the debate we're currently posting in, about homosexuality. You theorized that all people can become aroused by strange and disturbing things that they would not normally call attractive or arousing, but this is not true. Perhaps that is how it works for you, but what works for you is not necessarily what works for all mankind.

I don't have a problem with you however.

Thats actually a rather common fallacy that happens. People feel comfortable assuming that other people they associate with are like themselves. It's a saftey net of sorts. Rather dangerous too, it can allow you to be used quite easily and not even realize it.

Indeed. This is why I try to live my life being understanding, or at least attempting to be, of other people's perspectives.
