LIGHTSABER/SWORD FORMS:
Form III: Soresu
Form I: Shii-Cho

DISTINCT FEATURES:
Nearly the entire left arm had been replaced with a synthetic arm; it ends just before the armpits. Haven doesn’t attempt to hide the synthetic arm, so it is always visible. Haven is an Arkanian Offshoot, meaning that she has very pale skin and white hair. Sensitive pointed ears.

GEAR:
Utility belt, black dress, black cloak, double-bladed lightsaber (Ice blue blade), standard saber (Yellow blade).

AGE:32

HEIGHT:5ft 7 (174cm)

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Haven is compassionate and understanding. She is wise among the Jedi, being calmer than many of her peers. Haven is sometimes regarded as being too forgiving or fair. Though Haven provides good advice to anyone who is willing to hear, she will at times over-evaluate events and consequences.

Personality:
Haven is a calm and forgiving person. She likes being at peace, and does not feel the urge to be constantly doing something. Haven enjoys living life at her own relaxed pace, and enjoys breaks and personal time outs. Haven enjoys going into the wilderness, although her room would also suffice, and meditate and ponder on the past, current, and future. Haven is nearly constantly seen with a small serene smile on her face, being a naturally positive person. Haven is patient to the point of occasionally angering her bolder cotemporaries. Haven possesses surprisingly little inhibition regarding applications of violence in solving conflicts despite her calm nature.

YOUNGLING LIFE

Haven sat with her back against the wall, observing her new synthetic arm. The light illuminating the halls of the Jedi temple hits the arm at various angles, giving it a multi-coloured sheen. Haven stares at it, fascinated. She directs the metallic fingers to move, as though as if playing an instrument in the air. Taking in joy in her new arm, Haven could almost forget how she lost her real one.

It was a typical session of blindfolded lightsaber training. At 7 years old, Haven was progressing fairly well as a youngling, not succumbing to panic like many of the younger children. It was her second session, and after her first session which was successful, she wasn’t nearly as nervous. It started off normally, Haven and the other younglings using the force to sense where the remote was headed, and where the training shots were going to come from.

Haven allowed her mind to go blank, blocking the training shots, her lightsaber tracking the movements of the remote. After a few minutes, the remote began to move erratically, spinning, moving awkwardly. Haven felt bewildered, but thought it simply to be an increase in difficulty. The supervising master sees the erratic droid, and prepares to deactivate it.

It was too late. The droid, expelling steam and discharging sparks, exploded. Haven could not see through the blindfold, but she remembered the sharp cry that escaped her mouth as her left arm was torn apart by the explosion of the faulty droid. After that, she lost consciousness. When she awoke from surgery, the synthetic arm had already been attached.

Haven’s mind returned to the present, a pair of feet appears in front of her.

“Are you ok with that arm Haven?” The man asks.
Haven holds the arm to her silvery white hair, and she looks into his eyes.

“I love it.”

The man asks Haven if she would prefer external padding to make the arm look like a real one, and Haven states that she wouldn’t dream of hiding or disguising her precious gift.

Life of a Padawan, Becoming a Knight

Haven turned 13, and was informed that Jedi Master Lanyak had chosen her as his Padawan. From their meeting, Haven knew that she would never form a close bond with her master. Their personality did not fit together, and heated arguments between the two were all too common. Haven at 13 was overly confident, her attitude at times arrogant and rude.

But, Master Lanyak never gave up, and his traditional Jedi teachings would eventually come to fruition, though it wouldn’t be during their Master/Padawan relationship. However, Haven did display undeniable talents to become a power Jedi. Though Haven didn’t pay any attention to Master Lanyak’s philosophical teachings, she was a diligent student when it came to applications of the force and lightsaber combat. Haven eventually constructed her own lightsaber, a double-bladed one possessing blue blades.

During the aftermath of a particularly fierce argument between Master Lanyak and Haven, she came across Jiang who had arrived on Tython in a crashed ship. Haven took Jiang to the Monastery where he was treated for his wounds while also revealing his force-sensitivity to him. Jiang was taken in as a padawan, and the two of them quickly became friends. Jiang was like an older brother, but Haven often struggled with her 'other' feelings. She managed to bury them, knowing that Jiang had a fiance who he still deeply loved.

After 4 more years of training, Haven finally finished her training, and became a Knight. Jiang also became a knight around the same time, but he had left Tython for Coruscant, having had personal pursuments. During the final meeting between Haven and Lanyak before she would officially become a knight, Lanyak warned her to remember his teachings, as he could foresee the events that would follow if she continued to act beyond the Jedi code. Haven grunted at the warning, and their ‘farewell’ was not a pretty spectacle.

Haven soon received her first mission, a rather simple one. It was uneventful, and Haven, being young, impulsive, and overconfident hungered for something more challenging and exciting. She was assigned to her second mission, and it proved to be a life changing one.

During her mission, which was to assist Republic security forces in removing underground cells, she met a young man named Wylic who was slightly older than her and full of charm. Haven was enthralled by Wylic who seemed to know all the right things to say. Though at first slightly cautious, Haven quickly dropped all inhibitions, and began a relationship with Wylic, her mission assigned by the Jedi quickly forgotten.

Retribution

Haven was having the time of her life, enjoying everything the world had to offer, spending her days and nights doing things she couldn’t even think of as a Jedi. What Haven enjoyed the most though, was when she and Wylic held each other on their bed, uncaring of anything else that went on. Haven loved these moments, and hoped that they would last for eternity.

The good times would not last for long. When Haven returned to her dwellings one day, Wylic revealed his true roots and self. Wylic was a dark Jedi, and his mission had been to seduce Haven and extract as much sensitive information from her as possible regarding the Jedi. Haven had unintentionally done so, and eventually had nothing new to offer Wylic.

Wylic and three other dark Jedi confronted Haven, telling her to either join them or die. Haven was immediately thrust into emotional turmoil, the sudden revelation of the betrayal shocking her. It wasn’t so much that Wylic was a dark Jedi, she loved him too much for that to be a factor, but it was the fact that her love had been misused, and his feelings towards her had in fact been nothing but a masquerade. Now, he was even threatening her.

Fuelled by rage and grief, Haven screamed. In fury, in anger, her voice tapped into her inner conscience and force supply. Her emotions were piled into a force scream, causing shockwaves to explode from within her. The three dark Jedi accompanying Wylic died immediately, their organs ruptured and their bodies torn apart like ragdolls. Wylic survived, but barely.

Nothing mattered to Haven now, she staggered over to Wylic, who by now lay on the ground, immobile and trying to stay alive. Still crying, Haven reaches down with her synthetic arm, and physically chokes Wylic to death. Distraught, Haven wanders around the city aimlessly for several days, mind blank and emotionally empty.

Eventually, Haven regained her senses, and decided that there was only one thing to do.

Judgement and Atonement

Haven returned to her past, her life as a Jedi. Haven requested a meeting with the Jedi Council, who were shocked, having believed that she had died during the mission. Haven confessed her actions and negligence of her duties as a Jedi. Haven revealed everything that had happened, leaving nothing out.

The Council listened, and eventually, after much deliberation, they reached their decision. Master Lanyak, Haven’s old master who now sat on the council, advocated strongly for her re-acceptance into the Jedi Order. The Council agreed, and Haven was invited to join the Order once again, believing that she had truly learned what it meant to be a Jedi. However, Haven declined for the time being, feeling that she wasn’t ready to return to her position, or whether to return as a Jedi at all.

It was right after the meeting with the Council that she was re-united with Jiang once again. Haven was asked by the Council to perform one last task, to respond with the report of a critically injured Jedi Knight. She could feel that it was Jiang, and agreed immediately. Haven found herself face to face with her friend, though he lay on the ground and barely moving, having been impaled with his own lightsaber. Mustering all her emotions and ability, she managed to heal him, albeit losing her consciousness in the process. Their reunion was one of mixed feelings, but Haven finally managed to muster her courage to tell him of what she felt...

Haven spent five years travelling around Republic space, especially visiting the various Jedi Enclaves and temples throughout the galaxy. At every planet, she meditated and learned. Every planet she visited was a lesson and she was the student. Thereby, she gained her previously lacking wisdom over the years.

Eventually, Haven returned, a changed being. She knew that she was prepared to become a Jedi once again...

The link just got buggered a bit, from the looks of things. The ':' after the 'http' is missing, so the link turned into http//www.---- instead of http://www.----.
