Hello all, I'm new to this roleplaying thing

Besides doing the obvious and reading the Rp and Site rules...
My first time RPing, coincidentally on this very site, I wish I would have known to be more comfortable with asking for help or to RP with someone else. It took me a little while to get into the thought process that nearly everyone is willing to help if you just ask. Set up an OOC thread, where you can ask other RPers if they are interested in (insert idea).
Or have a conversation with someone that comments on a character profile or someone that generally looks like they'd be a good fit for your character to RP with, and ask them if they would be interested in a ROle aplay with you.
Hopefully not everyone will be too busy on New Timeline projects to get a RP going with you. Alas, I am one of those people that will be preoccupying myself with projects :(

Sure, I'll be glad to help you! Just take note of what the others have said above, particularly the new timeline.
You can still get in the game before the new timeline starts. You just need to whip up a character and stick it on the character profile board.
I don't want to get too far off, so just let me know what you need specifically.

This new timeline, is it set in the old republic times before the Phantom Meance? I might make my zabrak bounty hunter for that time period.
