Hello hello!


My name is Jake, illustrator currently living in France :)

I've been looking for an active SW RP Forum since the one I was usually playing on broke down. I'm happy to see there is such a big one :)

I love the concept of the story here, and would love to dive straight in. I have to admit though that I'm a bit overwhelmed by the number of posts and stories taking place here. I have honestly no Idea where and how to start.

I will start by making a character sheet, but I'd appreciate a little guidance :)

I've read all the rules, guidelines etc, but it still feels like walking on a minefield, haha!

Hey :)

I indeed find myself in need of a little advice here. So I put my character sheet on the site here (http://www.thestarwarsrp.com/forum/showthread.php?44489-Jake-Denoda) And waiting him to be approved as a member of the jedi faction.

So i was wondering...how long does this usually take? Atop of that I will be in need of a master to RP. I won't hide that I'm in a hurry to jump in an rp, haha :)

Another thing i was thinking about was my character sheet. I realize that the character is maybe not what you are used to here in terms of a padawan. If there's anything I could improve, I would welcome the advice!
Atop of that...if there's someone here playing a jedi master and in need of a more 'difficult' apprentice, let me know :)

Hi Jake!

Being accepted into the Jedi Faction varies, as far as time you have to wait goes. GABA, the faction leader, has to look over your character sheet before approving you. She has a lot on her plate as faction leader, and is busy because it's New years/christmas, but the NJO has the fastest turn around time... So you shouldn't have to wait long.

The time it takes for the approval process shouldn't be too long. GABA is the one who approves characters. It shouldn't be over a week.

As for apprenticeship, there is a huge influx of initiates and padawans, so getting a master isn't mandatory. You can join classes or study on your own if that's how you want to do it.

You're character profile is good. Not a bad story. The part where the family is large should be more emphasized. The part with the Demon Squad I think is irrelevant, but if you want to implement it I think you should talk more about the family. Though where did he learn Mando'a and Huttese?
