Hey guys,

I'm really excited to be here and I hope that I can find a home here. I have never RPed like this before, but I love RPG games and I write for fun. Throw in the fact that I am a crazed Star Wars fan and I think this will be a lot of fun for me.

Anyways, since I'm new to this entire genre of RP I was hoping that someone might be willing to mentor me. I know that this might be asking a lot from people, since most of us hardly have enough time for ourselves, but I would really apprciate it. I'm a fast learner so I shouldn't be too much of a headache to teach. Send me a message if your willing to help out!

And as far as being new to this "genre" of RP, what do you mean? Like forum RP'ing in general or RP'ing in a Star Wars universe?

My only experience with RP is the video game based variety which I wouldn't consider to be RP anyway. I have always wanted to tabletop RP but I haven't been able to convince any of my friends to join me.

To answer your question directly, I am no to forum RP and Star Wars RP.

This is a pretty good way to describe it. You already seem pretty articulate and use correct punctuation, so you have a leg up on a lot of people new to forum RP'ing. Your success and fun having when it comes to forum RP'ing really comes down to your own writing skills and creativity coupled with a good community. SWRP is a really good community, so we're good there. I'd be willing to field any questions you have when it comes to character creation, posting, etc if you'd ever like to hit me up. I've been RP'ing for about 9 years in every setting you can think of. :P
