His answer caused her to smirk as she cradled the bottle against her chest, a wariness still in her voice.

"Possibly, yet if you never fear the worst case scenario you aren't prepared for it or looking for other means by which to escape it. Besides, I like to work myself up before I do my job than wig out in the middle. It not only helps me keep my head in my line of work, it's also rather soothing, yet I'm sure you aren't plagued by such emotions. You seem to let everything just wash over you, shaking it off as if it were nothing. I envy you in that regard."

"Fear is a powerful emotion, it can drive people to do things they never ordinarily would even consider. However where it can drive people to do heroic things it also can drive a person to do very dark deeds as well. Conceiving the worst case scenario is one thing, to fear it..." He shrugs a smile crossing his lips "I'm sounding far too much like an instructor" He took a long swallow of water.
"Regardless the outcome of this endeavor you will find a way to succeed. Failure is something you will not accept." He smiles once more.

She narrowed her eyes at this response and set the bottle of water down on the counter, rounding to face him fully.

"You sound as if you think you know me. You may have followed me around before you came to my rescue, but that hardly counts as knowing me," she added.

His smile only grew as he looked into her eyes, his own gaze half-lidded. "So you're saying that my supposition of your nature is wrong?" His blonde brow arched to accentuate the question even as he took a long drink of water.

His growing smile just seemed to get under her skin even more. He had an eery quality about him when he smiled like that. It was a quality that she'd seen on the faces of serial killers before in interviews. It was the "I know you inside and out" look.

"I'm saying you can't possibly know who someone is just by watching their every move, knowing their favorite places, etc. Those are just snapshots into their personality. They capture one moment in time but not the whole person."

"My, my, my you neatly sidestepped my question." he commented but held up his hand "I know I'm difficult to handle at times and my methods are disconcerting especially to one unattuned to the Current or the 'Force' if you'd rather. Even without channeling the Current I know I am unsettling to most. It was not my intention to upset you, Rashada." He smiled softly.

She turned her face away from him and gazed down at the floor, letting a sigh escape her lips. Her left hand moved to rub the back of her neck as she seemed trying to find the right words.

"Unsettling is one way to put it," she told him before letting her hand fall back down to her side and meeting his gaze again. "I think I'm going to take you up on that offer to rest. Might do some good afterall," she told him, wanting him to again direct her to the room just off from the cockpit. Afterall, Rashada did not want to be far from the action...in case something happened of course...it wasn't that she didn't trust Lou...

Nodding he rose from the pilot's chair and lead the way to the nearest room.
"It isn't much, but then again this is where I often sleep on long flights." He smiled slightly "If you want to change clothes I'm certain you'll be able to find something in the wardrobe." He nodded to the large free standing armoire that had to be centuries old considering it was made from wood. "We're about the same height so my clothes should fit with a minimum of fuss. There's a small refresher behind that door." He pointed to the only other door in here. The bed again wasn't part of the ship but instead an actual free-standing bed, again made from wood. "There's a collection of music on the sound system, you can control it from the nightstand. Rest well." He smiled and left her to return to the cockpit.

Rashada looked around the room, letting her finger trail along the armoire before grasping the door handle and opening it. It seemed his tastes in clothing were a big pricey. The labels on a few shirts she knew cost several hundred credits. Closing the armoire doors, she moved over to the sound system and began to scroll through his collection. Most of the groups were ones she'd never heard of before. Deciding to leave it alone, she turned around and watched as he left the room.

It was only after he left that she began to really snoop around a little, interested in seeing what secrets he might have had lying around in here. Returning to the armoire, she began feeling along the doors and bottom for any hiding places.

Walking back to the cockpit, Lou couldn't help but smile. Did he know she was searching his room? Who knows. Did he suspect given the chance she would? Probably... Regardless what secrets she would find would only wet her appetite rather then satisfy it.

-The Armoire held aside from the pricey clothing (easily suitable for either gender) a pair of beautiful canes, one carved from what looked like ivory the other from some slightly transluscent black crystal (Picture Obsidian). Two small boxes sat at the bottom of the armoire, within one was four cigarette packs (the box held a maximum of eight) while within the other were five slender crystal rods about eight inches in length and a half-inch in diameter. They could be data sticks but of an unknown system. Also in the box Rashada finds a small holographic portrait of Lou when he was much younger standing beside a girl that bears a family resemblence. Touching the portrait causes it to activate and it plays a audio file, it's of a young woman singing a beautiful song, the words aren't familiar to Rashada but she doesn't need to understand them. Her voice is as close to perfect as she'd ever heard...

Rashada was mesmerized by the song. Unable to put the portrait down, she listened to the song at least twice before tucking it back away in the armoire and pulling out a pair of black pants and white shirt that didn't seem to have as much flair as some of the other clothing. Shutting the doors, she made her way to the refresher, suddenly wanting to clean herself and wash the grime from Coruscant and the fresh corporal of Alderaan from her.

Once she was clean and clothed, she brushed her hair behind her ears and began to search the rest of his cabin, yet she seemed to show more care with his things, going slower and savoring all that was his, almost admiringly.

(OOC: Sorry if there's runons in there. I'm kinda out of it right now.)

-Stuck among the fine clothing in the Armoire almost hidden among the expensive suits was a robe, hanging neatly on a hanger. It was light blue, almost gray but it was simple, almost stark compared to the adornment on some of the jackets around it. That austerity almost made it stand out as an important thing to him. It would have been a robe worn over clothing, a full length one... it looked just the right size for her.-

OOC: Yeah but she would have seen the Robe when she chose the pants and shirt.

In one corner of the room, almost obscured by the relative finery was antique music stand replete with sheet music and a silvery flute. It was partially covered by a draping cloth to prevent any dust from collecting on it.

Elsewhere aboard the vessel Lou continued making a near-constant stream of micro-corrections to the course, it was the one activity where his meticulous (Some would say compulsive) nature lay revealed. The corrections truly weren't necessary but he felt they cut time from the journey even if by a few minutes. Finally he leaned back almost curling up in the pilot's chair he took another drink of water, staring out at the white of hyperspace. He could feel the Current all around the ship, if he closed his eyes he could feel even beyond the boundaries of hyperspace itself... barriers, self-imposed barriers fell as here amidst the nothingness of hyperspace he permitted himself a moment to dwell within the Current, to wash away the residue of the physical world, to experience once more.

Somewhat disappointed that she couldn't uncover any more treasures like the cockpit held, she finally sighed and sank down to the bed. Forcing herself to lie down, she lay on her back and began to stare at the ceiling. It seemed here inside his room he seemed somewhat normal and not that different. Still, she couldn't shake that creepy feeling she felt whenever she was in his presence. It was very unnerving to be around someone that could alter your thoughts and manipulate you to do something you wouldn't normally do. Each time she kept thinking back to the soldiers on Coruscant, she shivered in apprehension. It was true, however, that without his actions they would never have gotten off Coruscant. However, some feelings were hard to shake.

Lying there, she began to wonder if he knew her thoughts and actions even now? If he had known she was going through his things, why didn't he try to stop her? Did he want her to go through his things? For what reason? What was it he wanted her to discover about him?

The longer she lay there, the more active her mind became thinking up all sorts of theories and trying to unravel them. After what seemed like ages, she sighed and rolled on her side. Propping her head up with her arm, she began to play with sound system, looking for some music that was calming and not eerie.

Time, it passes without notice though not always... Regardless of notice however it does pass and so too did it pass here and soon the ship reached it's new destination, the Baltimn system.

Even as the ship came out of hyperspace he leaned forward, flicking the rarely used intercom. He suspected however it would reach an empty room.

"We've arrived in the System."

Hands danced over the controls as transponders and receivers did their work bringing him up to date with the events that passed while they rode the hyperspace lanes.

Rashada had slept restlessly but awoke at the sound of the intercom. Slipping out of the bed and brushing her hands through her hair, she made herself presentable before making his bed up.

Once she was satisfied that everything was in it's place as he had left it, she made her way out into the cockpit and glanced out the viewer. Faking a yawn for his sake, though feeling it turn into a real one, she moved to the co-pilot's seat and strapped herself in.

Her eyes were glancing around, looking for any sign of a military escort, or worse fighters, ready to meet them head on.

"- requesting permission to enter Baltimn Flight Pattern." Lou said though his voice sounded decidedly feminine though still distinctly his. He nodded "Thank you Baltimn Control." He answered then smiled nodding to Rashada.
"I hope the bed wasn't too uncomfortable, having an actual matress isn't something most are accustomed to." He smiled finishing off his bottle of water before sliding the crystal container into a holder. Currently no ships that weren't merchant in nature were in view. No one seemed too upset about their presence. At least not yet.

Rashada's mind seemed to be at ease as the controller answered Lou's request, though somewhat disturbed by how easily he could mimic a female. All seemed to be going to plan, well, as much as she had planned that is. She plugged in her datapad with the encrypted message to be sent to the Supreme Chancellor, sending the transmission to the nearest satellite. To the techs below, they'd be spending a good half hour to hour actually pinpointing the transmission coming from the within Baltimn's atmosphere.

"I slept better than I thought I would," she answered truthfully, unplugging the datapad and tucking it away. "I thought mattresses were something only the diplomats and rich could afford."

Her eyes though seemed to be engaged elsewhere as she kept her eyes on the skyline, waiting to see what might happen.

Down below, a message, data only, was received by the intelligence office, appearing to have been sent from the president of the university on Alderaan:

Dear Supreme Chancellor Dashin,

It's regrettable that we missed you're presence at our last fundraising meeting for the new statue. Yet, I am happy to say that our end of the year reports for the 1100th birthday show promising results. Persons of your influence are always welcome in our halls, as well as your support for our Homecoming Coronation Ceremonies. We plan to build a new building soon and would be honored to name it after the man that has brought us through so much. The Republic has never been so venerated.

Sincerely,

President Admura Rykoff

(Hidden message: Meet me at the starport 1100. Help win Coruscant.)

OOC: I hope SOMEONE posts to call the bluff on this stuff...lol. No new statue is being built at the Academy. Nor is the University celebrating it's 1100th birthday. Cos should definately pick up on the descrepencies here as well as the odd language.
