"I understand master the jedi code now that you have explained it to me." Then Hika paused a second to think."Now master I have a question, may we now go and use the force to bring peace to the galaxy now?" Hika was unsure what Mol would say in respond to this.

"Soon, Hika," began Mol, as he stood up and tweaked the internal switch, and the door hissed open. "Soon. Before we can do that, however, you first need to learn how to use the Force. Follow me to the courtyard, and I will show you just how much you can do." With that, he strode out the door, motioning for his padawan to follow. "Come. The courtyard's this way."

"Then let us go to the courtyard then master" Hika then followed his master to the order's yard.

Mol led his padawan through the winding halls of the hallway, past jedi of every shape and size, and finaly through the ornately carved door to the sunswept grove of the jedi courtyard. The distant clash and hums of sparring jedi punctuated the smooth droll of chirping birds and grass swaying in the cool breeze from the nearby ocean.
"Now," he said. "I told you earlier about the jedi's ability to sense the future through the Force. This is possibly the most important skill for any Jedi. It gives you the edge in battle, in politics - there is almost nothing that it can't help you with.
"And now I teach this to you. First you must close your eyes. Blot out the outside world from your mind. Look only into yourself."

Hika attempted to close his lidless eyes. He tried the ability of precognition.
He could see nothing. He focused harder. Nothing to be seen. He tried harder then he saw nothing. '

Hika attempted this one last time. He could see a jedi sparing another jedi.
He opened his lidless eyes which looked a bit weird. "I've been succesful at this on my fourth try" he paused. " I managed to find out some jedi are sparing at the moment" He paused to allow his master to speak.

((OOC: Heh. Forgot. Rodian. Lidless eyes. Right.))

Good. Now clear your mind. Listen to the Force. Allow it to flow freely.[/i Mol was speaking mind-to-mind now, so as not to disrupt his padawan's effort. If Hika did this right, than he would be able to catch glimpses of the near future.

He continued to try this. Even though he had already had one successful attempt done. He tried he could tell a dark jedi was going to kill some guy.
But how was that really important dark jedi killed people all the time. But why could Hika see this people murder. He didn't care wasn't him or any fellow jedi dying.

Then a feeling of darkness came over him. The feelings came oftener and oftener with his jedi training.

Mol was feeling the Force with his apprentice, allowing his consciousness to float free, as he soaked up the collective thoughts and feelings of the world around him.

But wait... Something was strange...

"Hika - what's wrong?"

"It is just I think someone a figure of darkness is headed toward the order" Hika paused. ""But that is in the future and not the present" He lied to his master.

"Hika, one of the key elements in a master/padawan relationship is trust. I will never lie to you, and I'd appreciate it if you do the same for me.

"You see, my padawan, there are ways you can obscure your mind in the Force, ways to mask your intentions. But that is a fairly advanced technique, and until then, you will find it impossible to lie to one so in touch with the Force as I.

"But you have nothing to fear from this jedi. We have thousands of Jedi upon this order, and ever since Coruscant, we have been careful to stock up on defenses sufficient to hold an army at bay. I doubt this dark jedi will be a problem.

"I suppose credit should be given when it is due, though. I admit, I wasn't expecting something so distant in the future. you have a talent for Farseeing. Perhaps you may become a Jedi Sage, if you pass the trials.

"My abilities don't affect the path I choose master" He paused. "What is the next part of my training now" He said in a attempt to change the subject.
