4. Please provide a basic in-character timeline of what you expect to happen.
1st Plot - Ask Plot - Lassita will travel to Hoth to meet with Nora and discuss terms of purchase of the 4 fighters.

2nd Plot - Ask Plot - Lassita will travel to Makeb where she will meet with Herrith's character (waiting to see who) and acquire a load of coaxium.

3rd Plot - DM Plot - Lassita will make a run to Savareen where she will have the coaxium refined at the independent refinery.

4th Plot - Lassita will deliver the refined coaxium to Hoth where she will purchase the fighters from Nora Alemanii.

5. What do you or your character hope to achieve with this plot? What is the "end-game"?
Acquiring the ships for Lassita.

6. Do you need any involvement of canon NPCs or faction leaders to be DMed by a staff member? If so, please detail who/what and for what purpose.

Hey there @Yuan !

Couple things;

1) All threads to secure Coaxium from Makeb must be Open PVP, in accordance with the Cartel Event that has opened the planet and the resource up to the site - See here

2) How do you intent to take the four fighters off Hoth? Your character and Herrith's can fly one each but even then, they don't have hyperdrives. I would suggest, potentially, a couple of threads to secure the use of a carrier such as the Rhincodon Auxiliary carrier?

Suggested changes;

Thread 1: [ASK] Meeting with Nora
Thread 2: [OPEN] [PVP] Grab already-refined coaxium
Thread 3: [ASK] [DICE/DM] Secure passage on a Rhincodon Carrier to Hoth, needing to convince the Captain to take you there, load up the ships and drop you and the ships off at a place of your choosing
Thread 4: [ASK] [DM] Pirates attack the carrier and your characters repel the pirates but not before the captain and first mate are killed. Due to your actions, you are considered the Captain
thread 5: [ASK] Finish the purchase with Nora​

Outcome: Gain a civilian carrier (that can be modified later), NPCs to crew the carrier, 4 fenrir fighters and NPCs from the carrier who could pilot the fenrir fighters in a pinch.

Oh wow! That's fantastic! I was aware of the transportation issue. But I was not aware that the Rhincodon was a civilian-class ship! That's excellent news. I had been planning on working out a deal with the Deucalians to store Lassita's fighters until such a time as i figured out what to do with them. But this is much better!

I'd like to do that. Do I need to re-write the write-up? Or can we just use your layout there?

Haha don't worry about it - the Rhincodon has no weapons and only civilian-level shielding so it's an advanced tech ship but it's not really a capital ship considering you still need to fill it with things for it to be able to do any real attacking.

Between an open PVP thread, at least one DMed thread with potentially one more? I'd say it's a balanced reward for your efforts - let me know if you want me to DM or if you've got someone in mind already

Thread 4: [ASK][DM] Pirates attack the ship and your characters repel the pirates but not before the majority of the family is killed, leaving only the youngest son left alive. If you succeed in fighting off the pirates, he will become your third to pilot the ship and can be convinced to leave it to you. Or, if you have a third PC, the son can die and the last living member of the company/family owners are dead, leaving the ship to be yours.

So what's the deal with the Rhincodon? Is it a capital ship? Or can a character own it?

It's considered a capital ship by the letter of the rules - you can, however, still get one for a faction but it would likely depend which faction considering they're large enough that they're probably corporately owned so you'd technically be stealing it

So. It seems Black Noise is on vacation or something IRL for a while. I contacted Korvo, but unfortunately his Deucalian character was just killed a few days ago. Korvo suggested that I get a DM to rp the Deucalian leadership for me. Would you be free to do so by chance?
