[Rescue59 GRFD]

The Story: The year is 2027, several years into the Korean occupation of America. The US military is scattered, and it seems Americas only hope is the Resistance, found in small groups throughout America. Our story will be taking place in Colorado suburbs, and possibly we will advance elsewhere. Feel free to play either American Military/Resistance or Koreans. But please, no canon characters.

Alex Templar was in his tent, cleaning his M4 Carbine. Occasionally he heard Korean helicopters flying overhead, but he felt safe. He had managed to hide in plain sight by himself since the occupation started. He liked his life the way it was, well... at least as much as one could given the situation. He had recieved offers many times from other Americans to hide with them in the Oasis, a "safe-haven" for resistance fighters. Alex would always just chuckle at them for calling it a safe-haven. How could a large area with dozens of Americans hiding be safe? Or even hiden? At any rate, Alex knew where and who he was. And he knew what do to, survive.

Gary Sanderson was sitting in a makeshift sniper tower looking threw his Arctic Warfare Magnum aiming at a convoy. He was waiting for the go signal to come over the radio from his partner Alex. While waiting he reflected on the past on how he came to be a resistance fight against the Greater Korean Republic. Gary was sniper in the US army before the occupation. Began he was discharged after a incident involving him punching a commanding officer in the face. When the occupation began he was forced to join the resistance after he was saved from death by a few resistance members including Alex Templar but that was a year ago now he sat in a abandoned tree house in a ruined American suburb waiting for a the go sign to take out the driver of the convoy.

Alex heard the convoy coming and ran to his hiding spot in a nearby house. He grasped a detonator for C4 that he had left in the road. As the convoy drew closer he saw the majority of the convoy was right where they needed to be. He picked up his radio and said quietly "Take the driver of the head truck, then wait for the fireworks..."

Gary heard the go from his radio and aimed his sniper at the drivers head. At one last deep breath he fired a round directly at the drivers head. The bullet traveled threw the air and struct him dead in the head with that done he picked up his radio and spoke. "Driver is down i repeat driver is down."With that said he quickly packed all his supplies and waited for the fireworks.

"Great shot, stand by for fireworks..." As Alex said this he watched as several confused Koreans exited their vehicles to find out why the convoy stopped. When most of them got out, Alex clicked the detonator. The resulting explosion rocked the whole suburb. When the smoke cleared Alex saw several piles of flaming wreckage and several Korean body parts strewn across the road.

Alex called over his radio "I'm goin in, meet me outside now!" And with that Alex got up from his stomach and ran outside, careful to keep an eye on the sky and around him.

"Roger that i'll meet you at the rendezvous point."As he finished speaking he quickly jumped down from the tree house and proceeded to hop over a fence and ran to a spot just a little bit away from the convoy. Once he had finished running to the rendezvous point he holstered his sniper on his back and pulled out his ARM Galil. He then picked up his radio "I'm at the rendezvous point ready to initiate plan bravo on your go order sir."

Alex came over to Gary, and once he saw it was him, Alex lowered his rifle. At this point he turned to face the convoy wreckage and said "Let's check for supplies, and kill any stragglers you find. No mercy." Alex then strolled over to the scene and found a Korean who was missing a leg and coughing up blood reaching for Alex to help. Alex simply walked over and stomped down on the man's throat.

This was a trait that made him exceptionally dangerous and hated by the Koreans', he never showed mercy and he never took prisoners. The less he left alive, the less there were to find him another day.

Gary watched as his friend had mercilessly killed a korean soldier. He then followed in his friends footsteps and proceeded to execute a wounded korean soldier who was missing a arm. One Shot from his galil quickly dispatched the korean he then left any stragglers to his friend as he proceeded to loot the korean truck.

Alex had a sick sense of humor listening to the Koreans' beg for mercy. He thought it was ironic that these people of all people were asking for mercy after slaughting countless innocents, raping thousands, and making millions "disappear". It burned him up when he thought back to when he watched as several Koreans stormed his appartment and murdered his pregnant wife.

It turned out that it was a neighbor who sold them out to save his own skin. And because of this Alex was never trusting. The only living person he trusted was his close friend Gary.

His thoughts were interupted by the feeling of a hand grap his ankle. He looked down and saw another dying Korean, this one an officer, asking for help in return for guarenteed saftey. Alex just laughed and shot off a single round through the officers skull. Alex reached in his pocket and found a pack of Marlboro "red's". He flipped open the pack and found only one. He cursed under his breath as he lit his last smoke.

As he exhaled from his first hit, he said to Gary "Hey Gary, we gotta hit another 7-11... I'm outta smokes."

Gary was looting the contents of the truck inside the truck was ammo,rations,and water he was interrupted by Alex. "Heh man i'd thought you'd be sick of those smokes by now but whatever we'll hit one up, the faster you help me loot this truck. With that said He proceeded to continue taking as much as he could carry in his bag. Once finished loading his bag he listened to the sound of the area. Not hearing anything he began to speak "Hey man i'm gonna do a quick recon of the area you finish up here and i'll radio you if i spot anything."

Gary then ran off in the west direction of the truck to survey the area for korean reinforcements.

Alex chuckled and shook his head. He watched Gary run off to check out the area. Alex picked up his radio and said "Now don't get yourself killed, you got a bunch of the ammo and water on ya" Alex walked around, smoking his cigarette. Everytime he came by a body, he searched it for anything they could use: Rations, water, tools, ammo, maps, and even batteries.

Alex kept lookin up and got a little more worried because he saw a lot of Korean activity towards the city. And he figured that with all of that activity, somebody would notice all this smoke from the fires. He decided it was best to go lay low in a nearby house. Once he got in the house, he clicked his radio on and said "Don't be too long, I don't like how many Koreans are near by."

Gary was running past a burned down house when he saw ahead of him of him a convoy of korean troops. He proceeded to run into the house to the left of him once close enough he hoped threw the window and quickly hid himself behind the wall. He watched as they headed towards the convoy they had just taken out when he had heard Alex radio him. "Hey Alex you gots truck full of the commies heading your way you might wanna go to rendezvous point Omega. I'll meet you back at the farm Gary out."

With that said he proceeded to head to the back of the house and exited quickly out of the house. Alex then proceeded to head back to the farm making sure he wasn't noticed on his way out.

Alex heard Gary's last message, and simply replied "On my way." Alex silently came out of the house he was in and saw the convoy Gary was talking about. He felt a sense of panic as he turned and sprinted towards the old farm. He quickly darted from cover to cover. He heard the Koreans voices, and it burned him up. He stopped and took cover, watching the convoy. "Consider yourselves' lucky I don't have a damn RPG on me.... you mother fuc-" Now, a jet flew over head, very low too. Low enough it startled Alex because he was afraid it was gonna crash. Alex just stood up and ran to the farm and met up with Gary.

Gary had just arrived at the farm when he heard the sound of a large jet wondering if it was Korean or not. He shrugged the thought of and sat down while he waited for Alex to arrive at the farm using the time while he was waiting for Alex he began thinking of how many Koreans they'd have to kill to finally end this war. Just as he was thinking he heard a noise at the front of the farm he quickly sat up and looked out the window and saw it was Alex he walked out of the door and began speaking. "Hey man there wasn't suppose to be this many Koreans out here do you think our intel was wrong?"

Alex said "Get the hell back inside now! They got Korean air patrols like crazy now. They all noticed when we hit the convoy, and now they're all on alert. It's best that we go back to camp, pack up, and relocate." He then walked in the house, Gary following him, and went towards the back door. "We're goin straight to camp, then we're packing up EVERYTHING. Then we're gettin the hell out of here. Ready? Go."

When Alex gave the go order he rushed his way towards there camp they had hidden in a thick forest behind the farm. With Alex behind him they continued running until they had reached there camp they had hidden. When they had reached the camp they began packing up everything they had set up while they where packing up supplies Gary noticed something off in there camp. Thats when he had noticed that They where being watched he just couldn't pinpoint the location of there enemy he walked over to Alex and wispered. "Alex I think we a being watched act natural and i will try and locate the enemy."

Alex nodded and continued to pack up his belongings. "Are you sure its a Korean?" he whispered. Alex occasionally peeked up to look around and try and find the source of Gary's suspicions.

Gary continued looking around trying to find the position of the enemy "I',m not sure but its best if we try not to let them know we are being watched." Thats when he saw it the Person had let the scope of there weapon catch some sunlight and he saw the position the unknown person was hiding behind a large bush letting the scope of there weapon catch a flash of light from the sun. "Alright i found there position here's the plan you draw there attention anyway you can and i'll sneak up on them.

Alex nodded and stood up calmly, and suddenly sprinted to his right, drawing the person's attention towards him. Alex sprinted as fast as he could, not stopping and not looking back.
