Phoenix stepped out of the shuttle, and onto the garden planet of Gargolyn IV. He was the only person getting off here, and could sense that the rest of the passengers were very relieved that he was getting off. Now was when he decided that buying the grenade was a good idea. Once he bought the trip to the Sith homeworld, he would be left with 1000 credits, so he decided to have some fun with his spare money while he had it. As the shuttle began humming, it rose from the ground. The passengers aboard the shuttle were just about to continue conversation when they heard a sort of echo. "Your Fear brings you nothing but Death." Phoenix pulled out a small metal device with a single button. He looked up at the shuttle, now wavering due to the panic on board, and pressed the button. A moment later, a deafening explosion silenced the forest.

Phoenix wandered along the path, looking at the plants and animals and thinking about how it reminded him of his home. He hated the feeling, but he knew that he couldn't kill anyone here, not yet. This planet was inhabited by Force-sensitive creatures, and Phoenix believed that if he used his ability to read their minds, he could learn how to strengthen his own Force abilities. He continued walking, until he heard a crack of a twig behind him. He turned his set of concealed hands toward the sound, and smelled. "That is not the smell of a Cor," he thought to himself. "Who are you?" he said as he slowly turned towards whatever was behind him. A loud, low growl came at him as he turned around. Phoenix heard the Beast think, "He is not a threat" . Phoenix turned to examine this creature, but all he saw was the 8' tail as whatever it was moved away. Phoenix shrugged and continued toward his destination.

The forest was thick, even though it was obviously well-maintained. It reminded Phoenix of his old home on Quermia. He bent his neck down to avoid hitting the tree branches, which had curved in an arc to create a sort of tunnel. Sunlight shone through the leaves to give a warm atmosphere to the area. Phoenix admired the way these creatures were able to create such art with simple vegetation. He stopped. He sensed Fear. Phoenix looked around, searching for the one who would be stupid enough to be afraid of him when he was simply walking along a forest path. A flash of movement caught his eye. "It's RUNNING from me?! How dare it run from me!", He thought to himself. His Rage towards this creature built up inside of him. Phoenix pointed his finger at the small, furry animal. "You," he said aloud. The anger and rage built up inside of him, ad suddenly a spark shot out of his fingertip. The animal's fur caught fire, and it didn't have a chance to scream before it disintegrated completely. Just then, Phoenix sensed a new presence. He heard this newcomers thoughts, "This one has power over the Force... But it seems to be incapable of controlling how it uses it's powers."

Phoenix turned around, and saw a dog-like animal walking toward him. It had a long, thin snout and two long horns coming from the top of its head that pointed backwards. It's tail doubled the animal's size. "So this is a Cor," Phoenix said. "You have heard of us," it thought, "I'm impressed. You know that I can't speak your language, so I'm guessing that you'll just be reading my thoghts?". Phoenix thought about it a bit, then calmly responded, "Yeah, I guess so." "Very well then," thought the Cor. Suddenly, Phoenix was surrounded by about twelve vicious-looking Cor. "Now If you don't mind me asking, who are you, and why are you here?"

Phoenix was surprised. After the fear that he had invoked in the small creature, he had thought that these ones would be scared as well... He said, "My name is Phoenix Othello Ank, and I require training in the use of the Force." The circle of Cor took a step closer, but the one talking (who seemed to be a type of leader) ordered them to stand down. "We can only train you in sensing the presence of the Force, and only if you give us something in return."

"How could someone like me help you? You basically own this planet!" Phoenix said. "Not entirely," responded the Cor leader, "There are colonies on this planet, Colonies that we wish to eliminate. If you can destroy one of these colonies, we will teach you how to sense the presence of the Force." "Wat?! You want me to take out an entire colony? I don't even have any weapons!" Yelled Phoenix. The Cor leader stared at him. Phoenix felt like this creature could see everything he had ever done. "That's never stopped you before."

Phoenix Walked through the forest, annoyed that these dog people could make him do this. The encampment drew nearer. Phoenix looked at it through the bushes. A single hut stood in the center of a ring of tents. "The center seems like a meeting place," Phoenix thought to himself. A man stepped out of the hut. He was much older than the other people walking around, and Phoenix could sense that he was much wiser and more confident than the rest. Suddenly, he turned to face directly towards Phoenix. He yelled something in another language, and suddenly the town was filled with panic. A group of men with blasters ran from the tents as the hologram projectors stopped to reveal the true colony. About twelve glass and metal buildings sat on concrete in the clearing. An auto-defense turret turned towards Phoenix as a deafening alarm rang. Phoenix hated hese people for tricking him, but knew that with his current level of experience he would not be able to defend himself. So he ran deep into the forest, the Colonists chasing him. They were shooting at him, but it seemed that every time a shot came at him he knew exactly how to avoid it. Suddenly, his path was blocked by a humongous creature...

Phoenix looked up. The giant animal was baring a set of eight fangs, and staring down at him. A blaster fired at him, and he jumped out of the way. The shot flew past him and hit the creature. It made a small surprised-sounding squeal, then it's five foot head turned toward the Colonists. They slowly started to back away as it growled at them. One of them suddenly shouted, "FIRE!" The entire group focused their shots on a single point in the creature's chest. It started bleeding, and in retaliation it lunged at the attackers. They quickly dispersed, but the creature was amazingly fast for it's size. It mowed them down as if they were grass. Soon, there one one left, hiding behind a tree and shooting every few seconds. The animal was obviously injured, and it knew that it didn't have much time to live. It made one final lunge at the survivor, but at the last moment it was shot through the eye. It fell with a force that shook the ground. The survivor stood up, and looked around, afraid that another of the giant creatures might come. Phoenix stepped towards him. He saw a small bird land on a branch above the remaining soldier, and took brief control of it's mind. The next moment, the soldier had dropped his gun and was running away, the bird chasing after him. Phoenix decided that it wasn't worth the risk of fighting this colony, so he continued through the forest towards the landing pad where he had arrived. He bought a trip to the Sith homeworld (It's rare, I know.) and took off. The next day, rumors had spread throughout the colony that the animals had started a rebellion to get back the land that was stolen from them.

((I got a Sith Master, so I decided to end this early.))
