How to go about: Stopping Threads/Scenarios/ETC ETC?

Alright, I've just had this question kicking around in my head for the longest time, from way back when I first joined the SWRP, and I'm finally getting around to asking it.

If a thread is posted in the Story Board, in an area that a Faction would logically have acess to or control [IE: A thread that takes place in a Republic Army Post] and the thread is posted as 'Closed', does the faction retain the right to intervene since the thread's going down on its home turf?

Also, if a thread is posted and within that thread, a faction's forces/NPC members/whatever are present yet the faction leaders haven't approved of that presence, does the affected Faction have the right to step in and ask the thread starter to alter the aforementioned event or shut it down altogether?

If the thread creator hasn't got the permission of the faction leader to include NPCs or locations of that faction in their thread, then it has to be open to any members of that faction who could feasibly and logically be there. I suppose when the thread creator realises that they may well want to no longer continue themselves, so yeah, I guess the option to abandon the RP is always on the table.

If it happens, let one of us know so we can change the thread tag and post a ruling in the thread.
