hunting nature(Ozan's BHG training)

I kept on running fastly in the maze. I was confused, annoyed, and some what scared, but I could not bother to painc, or well I did not have time to. Then on one of the rooms I was sprayed with something. Damn that was disgutsting, and well that was enough to make me more angry as well.

To make things worst a shot almost got me from the balcony, but since I was running fast it did not get me, but well you can say that it almost got me, but that was not it after getting deeper in the maze I saw something coming at me, which well was a bunch of hungry Nexus. They were probably coming toward my direction, and that is why I had to take the right route, and run, yet they were still chasing me. I ran faster, and faster without trying to think about anything now.

OCC: sorry I just thought that there were no real traps set when the flags were changed.

Shawn trainqed one of the nexu that were further back outside of the trainees line of sight it was a light sedative the beast would be awake again in a minute but do to its mindless chasing of the recruit it made it easy to drop. He approached the unconscious nexu and tied the flag onto its tail. The Trainee wouldn't expect one of the creatures that are hunting him to have the flag. Shawn ran from the now wakening Nexu, and used a repel line to get back up to the maintenance catwalk. And watched as the nexu he traneqed joined the others in the hunt.

"Sorry new guy but this is going to be a challenge."

(( *sigh* Samowise.....your not supposed to control the nexu either, they're my npc's.))


Seeing that Shawn had decided to join in on Ozan's training, Ares comm'd him with his helmets build in comm unit. " Hey Shawn, do what ever you want with this one. Just remember not to kill him." The bounty hunter didnt wait for a reply before shutting his side of the comm unit, he was too occupied with his sniper rifle.

Ares was done simply giving aiming warning shots at the recruit, dropping him would slow him down, and in the proccess make him an easier target for the nexu. With a practiced hand, Ares looked down the scope of his rifle and lead of the recruit as he ran. Due to his focus he didnt even feel the kickback from his rifle as he gently squeezed the trigger. The recruit would have a hard time dodging the shot, due to the fact Ares was behind and above Ozan, and the recruit seemed to be more focused on the nexu then on him.

I was runing fast now probably not focusing on the bullets that were shot behind me, but it seemed that one of them almost got me, but hey dying with bullets sounded better than getting eaten by a hungry Nexu. I then decided to fight them back finally, so I turned my upper body part a little bit aiming two shot at the Nexu behind me. I then tilted my body back, and increased my pace.

A wall shot up from the ground blocking the nexu off from the trainnee. the wall was a fluke though do to a short in the incomplete system.

'well guess I will have to pass the time by seeing the metal of this guys reacting to new situations.' "alyoup" Shawn thought to himself droping down he was fully armored, and armed with his signature combat knife, and dual pistols though they were armed with ruber bullets he was going in serrious and not going to hold back. as he fell he aimed to nail the trainne square in the face with a kick.

Finally, I was not going to worry about the Nexu again, or at least that is what I thought when a wall was raised blocking them from me. Then suddenly something felt over me it was like a rock falling, but it seemed that it was a human's actual leg. It came at my face causing me to drop down. My nose was bleeding now, and I almost lost consicouns, but who was the guy that attacked me, could it be Ares? No Ares was probably up aiming at me with his sniper.

Ares sighed deeply yet again as he saw Shawn's body fly into his scopes sights and tackle the recruit to the ground. It was a crude yet effective way to get someones attention, and Ares knew Shawn was a very capable hand-to-hand fighter, so him getting bested by the recruit wasnt likely.

Another shot rang out as Ares fired again, expertly avoiding hitting Shawn with his stun rounds. After he fired he pressed a button on the control panel infront of him that cause several walls to disappear into the ground, in turn redirecting the nexu away and around Ozan and Shawn to attack at at a different angle. Ares would wait for Shawn to finish his little scuffle before re-releasing the nexu.

'again with the sniper rounds I swear that man loves to shoot me no matter the situation. No matter time to see what this new guy is made of.'

"Alright new guy tip number one be aware of your surroundings, and never expect that your safe. Cause in an instant on a hunt you may find yourself dead." Shawn said jumping away from the reqruite and bringing his combat knife up and ready for any retaliation.

I was on the floor when one of those sniper bullets hitted my leg. It was painful, yet they were not as dangerous as real bullets, but of course the pain they did to me was not easy to handle.


I then got up, and then took out my knife, yeah well once again I was stuck to meele combat, since I did not have enough time to look for my blaster that I dropped when this other guy attacked me.

Well getting on my feet was hard, and I was struggeling to stand on it, yeah I had to do that if I ever wished to survive this torturing session. I then charged toward the hunter that just attacked me. My leg was barely able to hold me, but I had enough wellpower gladely. I then attacked him with my knife aiming directly at his stomach.

Shawn didn't really move from where he was at as the trainee charged Shawn used his free hand to use the trainee own momentum against him flipping him onto his back Shawn still holding onto the arm holding the combat knife, and shoving his foot into the mans shoulder joint to keep him from moving with out breaking his arm. “Tip number two no matter how angry you get never fight with your emotions and never charge head on into a fight use your head and watch your opponent.”

I could not feel what was going on around me, but it seemed that I was laying on the floor, and my arm was probably locked. The situation I was in was really hard, yeah it was probably hard to break free, besides there was a great pain in my right arm, and leg.


"damn you" I said out loud as I tried to pull his leg away using my left arm.

"Cute you're not in a small time group of wanabe bounty hunters no more kid, your in the big leagues now and not thinking will get you killed." Shawn said as he released the trainee and started walking away around one of the corners in the maze, stopping to look at the trainee. "you may want to look at those nexu more carefully kid you might see something you missed before." And with that said Shawn continued down the maze and away from the trainee.

With Shawn's exit Ares pressed the the button that made one of the walls behind Ozan slide silently into the ground, behind it sat two of the three nexu, one had seemed to wander off further into the maze instead of waiting for an opening to present itself. Unfortunately for the recruit it was the nexy who's tail held the real BHG flag. It took Ares a moment to spot it in the maze, seeing it far out and wide away from Ozan and the other two nexu as it darted around corners and through straight aways, it would take some time for it to make it back to Ozan.

The two nexu immediatly attacked, having heard and smelt Ozan over the durasteel walls of the maze. Moving with a pack mentality, one went low towards Ozan's upper back while the other went towards his legs. They both seemd to roar in unision as the pounced, as if giving Ares a cue to hold his fire for the time being. Sniper fire and two ferocious beasts could quite possibly be too much.

something that I missed befor? what did he mean to say, could the nexus be the key to passing this test, but how would they. I started to think, but well I did not have enough to, for the doors behind were opened, and two nexus attacked from my back. I had to act fast, yeah I dodged the attack fastly by jumping to the right. It seemed that I was fast, but not fast enough yeah it seemed that my lef leg was now injured, and it started to bleed. Damn now I had to survive with two injured legs, and that sounded hard, but oh well I have survived things that were even worse than this case. Yeah I could not afford to die now.

I was now on the floor, but I could not affor to stay there I had to act yeah, gladely my blaster was just laying a few inches beside me, so i fastly took it, and shot two bullets each one was aimed at the head of the Nexus. If things went as I wanted them to both off the Nexus would be dead by now.

Both shots missed their marks, but one managed graze a nexu's shoulder, causing it to back off a little. The other, on the hand, was unfazed by the gunfire, and pounced again at the now downed recruit. Ozan would have to think fast to avoid a direct hit from the creatures claws.

Elsewhere in the maze, the third nexu was getting closer to its prey, having to run practically all the way around through the maze to get to Ozan. It was only a matter of time before it reached its two brothers and helped to finish of the trainee.

Damn, the two shots missed. What was wrong? and what was going on with me? I have always been good at aiming, but it seemed that I was not that lucky now. Yeah even tho one of the shots got one of the Nexus arm, yet still I had to finish them off now not hurt them.


The other Nexus came at me attacking with his claws. I had to act fast now, or I would be dead. Fastly I rolled to the right side avoiding the claws of the nexus, and now was my chance yeah this stupid Nexus now gave me an opening to shoot him down. I fastly raised my blaster which was still held between my arms, and shot another bullets aiming again at the head of the Nexus who had just attacked me. Hopefully he would die this time.

The blaster shot fired by Ozan flew true, sailing through the Nexu's head and out the other side. The beast was dead before it hit the ground. Unfortunately the recruit had made a mistake done frequently by less experienced fighters, Ozan had focused entirely on one Nexu, not even taking into account the other that was very close by.

While Ozan had been aiming and fireing at the now dead Nexu, its parter was already practically ontop of him, claws slashing towards his armor. At such close range a blaster rifle would be very unweildy, melee would have to be used if the recruit hoped to survive.

Meanwhile, off in the maze, the third and final Nexu had finally reached Ozan and its fellow predator. It was at the other end of the far hall, and began sprinting towards its prize.

Finally, one was down, but I did not have enough time to get happy since the other nexu was already on top of. Gladely I was wearing my armor, and helmet which protected me from his claws that would have normally teared me apart. Once again the family armor that I made saved my life from certain death again.

But now I had to take that Nexu off me. Without wasting much time to think I aimed a strike at the Nexu's head using my right hand's elbow. I was now physically that strong, but the armor I was wearing was heavy, and would probably hurt the Nexu alot, or maybe kill him since the hit was aimed at a vital point. I was still holding my blaster. Yeah waiting for the right chance to shoot this monster down incase my strike was not good enough to take him down.

The elbow impact would have made a normal snetient's eyes water, but to a ferocious beast it only angered it. The nexu ontop of Ozan began biting at his helmet, trying to open it to get the meat inside. All the while the third Nexu waited and watched for a moment, then moved in for the attack, it aimed at one of Ozan's arms, which held the blaster. If nothing was done the beast would easily be able to rip the blaster, and Ozan's arm, off of the recrutis person.


Ares took a shot at the thrid nexu with a stun round, hitting its flank and ceasing its attack. Two against one wasnt fair odds in his book.

Am I going to die, or would I survive this. This was the only thing I was thinking about for now. That is why I wasnt really thinking probably, and that is why this seemed to be the final day in life. However there was still a chance to fight.

Damn, the beast had already taken my helmet off, and that made things really dangerous yeah after all the helmet was the only thing protecting my face. Now I had to act fast befor anything could happen. Without thinking much more I held the Nexu's arms with both my hands. After that I aimed a kick at his stomach. However the point from the kick was not to hurt him. It was actually to raise him a little bit on my feet, so that I would be able to throw him after that. Then of course I would use my blaster to shoot him down.
