Idea and talking about Characters for next timeline

I always did have a thing for Captain Janeway, Kate Mulgrew has a beautiful voice too, I'm gonna read everything you write with that character and hear her in your work. A rather intriguing character idea, if the character of Flemeth is in any degree of what inspires your character she'll be one to keep an eye on I'm sure.

I've also just got to speculate here, but does the style of her armor give any subtle hint as to the next timeline? Probably not, but it's fun to ponder the possibilities.

I have two characters planned so far. My first is my Sith, Serebin Thel, a young Sorcerer who is delving into nefarious and amoral ways to prolong life and halt age. He is aesthetically based around the Victorian era and goth and horror themes, aswell as my own interpretation of a young Vitiate. He is cynical, arrogant, depraved, cruel and just all around nasty piece of work. I'm currently (and slowly) working on his personality section, but his biography follows the story of his life in a "Spellhouse", a business run by a Sith Lord which houses and trains Sith Sorcerers, then markets their arts and work to the wealthy and noble. He encounters the older Sith living there, each of whom are obsessively studying different ways to attain immortality.

My next character is Lola Day, a non-Force Sensitive Twi'lek gunslinger. She was inspired by the characters of Eleena Daru and Vette from SWTOR, concepts which I really loved, but always thought could have been portrayed and executed much better. I haven't really organized her bio to the same extent as Serebin's, but it revolves around her being bought and sold as a slave from owner to owner, before eventually escaping slavery with the help of Sith Warrior Andromeda. She is fiercely neutral and open-ended, as I really wanted a character who I had no idea where they would end up. Lola is ambitious, selfish, charismatic and sharp-witted. While not a bad person, she is just kind of scoundrel with super keen survival instincts. She views the entire galaxy as her ultimate inspiration and playground.

Also, she is PURPLE.

My next character is Lola Day, a non-Force Sensitive Twi'lek gunslinger. I haven't really organized her bio to the same extent as Serebin's, but it revolves around her being bought and sold as a slave from owner to owner, before eventually escaping slavery with the help of Sith Warrior Andromeda.

I may or may not be planning a Twi'lek character that is born as a slave and grows up to be a senator and Ryloth's secret crime lord at the same time. Just throwing it in there, might be cool to have them linked in some (small) way as being friends (or kindergarten rivals) as slaves.

That sounds cool. The slavery backstory is hugely cliché so I was thinking of using something different. Lola is a Tyrian (pink and purple) Twi'lek, who are the music and art caste. After her village is sacked, she is placed in a conservertoire for music and dance, which is really a disguised market place for slave girls. She becomes a talented singer and dancer, before she is unwillingly sold to a wealthy Sith Juggernaut. That's how she meets Andro who becomes her mate and teaches her how to fight.

It's very much a work in progress at this point.

That's brilliant! I'm stealing that since my Twi'lek's organization will be primarily focused on slavery. From a young age on he'll be used to explain detoriating circumstances of slavery to the slaves in order to soften the blow.. he could have visited the conservertoire in that capacity and quite possible witnessed the sale?

Please let the Kushiban become a Jedi... I envish them sitting on the Jedi Council alongside my Lurmen, they can be best friends.

I am dying to see what an insucure Vaxvesh looks like. To be honest man writing a character with internal problems like attachment disorder, emotional detatchment or trust issues is my favorite type of characters. But do not do what I did.

I made Anthoni's emotional problems completely ruin his relationship with other characters. Like he was to afraid to love people because he was afraid of loosing them. Also when another character is trying to HELP your character, let them. Cause like I said he will end up alone, sad, and angry *cough* Anthoni *cough*

Although I will say if you find someone I mean a character that also has emotional problems, like scars from her past. Then go with it, there are great stories out there if you mix your character with that one. Nothing makes a good love story like two broken people trying to fix each other.

I thank @EmilyHuene for her characters, cause without her three women, Anthoni would be a shell of a man.

Well, the guy is pretty insecure when he has trust issues, but that is mostly because of his position and other things than his personality really. He only has three friends really at the moment and even then, he always makes sure not to reveal certain things.

I've got a couple character ideas I'm kicking around for the next timeline.
1) Former slave gladiator Wookiee making his way in the galaxy, free for the first time in decades. Exploring the 'verse, figuring out the mysteries of his past, and a struggle to find peace while burdened with rage and killing instinct.
2) Jedi Knight devoted to protecting the weak and upholding the virtues of justice and honor. Leaning towards shield and lightsaber pike or shield and saber for combat purposes. Undecided on the race but I'm thinking something warlike so his skill and love of combat conflicts with his Jedi teachings. Maybe a Barabel since I really enjoy writing them... just without the speech impediment this time.
3) Jedi turned heir of the family business, she'll be up to her neck in politics and the scheming of the criminal underworld.
